Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)
‘WON’T HE DO IT!’
Dr. Joi Brown over the weekend paused for a moment to count her blessings, if you will.
“What a difference between 2021 being the best and greatest year of my life to 2022, I was literally in the fight of my life,” Dr. Brown vividly recalls. “Life is truly a roller coaster at times, filled with ups, downs, curves and turns, moving forward, and sometimes backward. When life gets you down and when you try to get up and get knocked down again and again, it’s hard to see your way through all that you may go through.”
Fortunately for Dr. Brown, though, she appeared destined to steadfastly embrace the good with the bad — and vice versa, of course — amid what could be appropriately described as a spiritually gut-checking season of her life, particularly over the past year or so.
And, after she had suffered a little while, amongst the things about which Dr. Brown would ultimately discover was God miraculously restoring her, thus making her strong — firm and steadfast, as only He could.

“Life can be hard, cruel, and just unfair at times,” Dr. Brown said.
Conversely, life can be filled with an overflow of God’s supernatural blessings, as Dr. Brown surprisingly learned March 19 when she was named Making Headline News’ International Women’s Day Woman of the Year for 2023.
Originally called the International Working Women’s Day, this day is celebrated annually on March 8 and customarily commemorates the movement for women’s rights.
According to https://www.internationalwomensday.com/, organizations and individuals around the world have collectively become committed to helping women and girls achieve their ambitions, challenge conscious and unconscious bias, as well as call for gender-balanced leadership and value women and men’s contributions equally.

In addition, this day was designed in part to create inclusive flexible cultures. From awareness-raising to concrete action, organizations rallied their people to pledge support to help forge gender parity on International Women’s Day and beyond, according to a spokesperson for IWD.
For Dr. Brown, a Waldorf, Maryland-based philanthropist who heads 3EEE Consulting, her rise to acquiring her latest achievement comes amid humble beginnings, something by which she doesn’t merely take lightly, she acknowledged.
“Blessed beyond measure to be recognized to educate, equip, and, empower people to their passion and purpose,” Brown told MHN. “Won’t He do it! I understand the calling on my life and I am truly thankful that God chose me to impact this world and bring joy to it. I truly appreciate the recognition from Making Headline News (for naming me) International Women’s Day Women of The Year for 2023, which allows women such as myself to share our stories that impact the world.”
In Dr. Brown’s case, her story is one that could be suitably labeled beauty for ashes.
“What got me through those storms and dark days was I had to remember who I was and that my name had a purpose,” Dr. Brown explained. “Joy is light in the darkness, joy is peace in turbulent waters and times, and joy is happiness and love, and that is what the world needs more of. Joy comes in the morning.”
Interestingly enough, Dr. Brown is appreciative of a solid supporting cast that, by all accounts, has helped steer her through the good, the bad, and the ugly that life often deals us.
“I also had some family and friends that loved on me and encouraged and affirmed me,” Dr. Brown said. “My village would not let me stay in that dark place. Words of encouragement are what my mindset needed for me to reset and take action to make some changes. My word for 2023 is, ‘Better To Know Better, Do Better, And Believe That Better Is In Store.’”
A devout woman of faith who functions fervently as a Career Strategist, Certified Life Coach, International Bestselling Author, Empowerment Speaker, and an entrepreneur who’s widely known as the “Positive Energizer,” Dr. Brown is the mastermind behind 3EEE Consulting, her Maryland-based featured that has become a fixture for educating, equipping, and empowering people through coaching, conversations, and workshops in career and entrepreneur development, conflict resolution, goal setting, health and wellness, leadership, team development, and personal and professional branding.
