Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard that went down to the skirts of his garments. As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. (Psalm 133:1-3 KJV)
BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER
No one, really, can tell Bryan Leonard’s awe-inspiring testimony surrounding his milestone of emerging as a two-time published author.
So perhaps he can do the honors.
“The vision was put in my heart to continue in mission support to write my story in October 2022 during the rebuilding process after losing my beautiful wife of 37 years in 2021,” Leonard told Making Headline News this week.
“My vision is a continuance from Grief Through His Eyes, which I was a co-author in the first volume along with other 13 amazing co-authors. In Volume 2, my vision and chapter bring a global summit and invitation together for all men — married and single — from every tribe, tongue, and nation from all walks of life to come to the table, grab a seat along with other men, and boldly share their experience of pain, suffering, loss, traumas, and emotions stemming from grief.”
As part of Making Headline News’ 2023 Essence Music Festival advance coverage leading to the “the party with a purpose” event June 29-July 3 in New Orleans, Leonard, a native of Chesapeake, Virginia, spoke at length about how deemed it a foregone conclusion to collaborate with Visionary Author Deborah Juniper-Frye’s Grief Through His Eyes: Seeing Grief From His Point Of View Volume 2, her highly-anticipated, Amazon Bestselling anthology that is accompanied by a variety of life-altering stories by her male counterparts.

“(It’s an honor) to lock arm-and-arm and shoulder-to-shoulder with my friend and visionary, Coach Deborah Juniper Frye’s passion in helping both men and women live a life victoriously over grief,” Leonard told MHN. “And (I chose to join this anthology) because this is a men’s co-author bloodline, a bloodline and vision that are unstoppable…to see where this vision and train continue to bring comfort, compassion, and hope to men of all ages that will go on from generation to generation to come.
“Considering my experience and understanding the seven stages of grief that all of us around the table may and will experience in life, (I joined this anthology because it) will help us grow in understanding these stages and how with God’s comfort, we can comfort others in their times of momentary grief and loss and that we all can live after loss and not allow grief to cause us to be buried alive or become the walking dead.”
Leonard began composing his chapter for Grief Through His Eyes: Seeing Grief From His Point Of View Volume 2 in November 2022 and needed approximately two months to complete it.
Just like last year when he made his ceremonious authorship debut for Juniper Frye’s inaugural volume, his submission has been as good as advertised.
HE’LL BRING YOU OUT
“The feedback that I have garnered from the book is that men, even in times of pain and loss and suffering can be the family to serve in helping other men receive the comfort, hope, and support regardless of their past,” Leonard said. “(When it comes to) short or long-term grief experience that in the midst of the most difficult moments in our lives, when we are on the potter’s wheel that the Master Potter Himself will take care of us and help us discover the potential in all of us that we never thought we could overcome and live triumphantly in our lives.”
When asked what his divine message through his notable chapter in his sophomore book project is, Leonard said:
“The divine message is that we all will or have experienced grief and loss at our own address compared to seeing it happen at other people’s address and their location. It is different when it hits your own address. I provide three applications that will help every man and even women on the planet and the audience readers who will sup and drink from our table, to build a bridge of hope for all men to travel across and to emerge beyond what the world has defined men being in times of grief.
“It may have been taught to us for years, but when grief, trauma, and pain hit home — not just when we lose someone close to us, but at opportune times — these kingdom applications cannot give us strength and keep the faith and overcome the pain associated with grief,” Leonard continued. “It also can write in the tablet of our hearts to help serve and bless and comfort others with the same comfort God continues to provide to us, even in our lowest estate.”
