She considers a field before she buys or accepts it — expanding her business prudently — with her profits, she plants fruitful vines in her vineyard. (Proverbs 31:16 Amplified Bible)
HEART OF GOLD
To her credit, Mid-South businesswoman Dr. Tresie Menise Rushing-Lopez is extremely passion about exemplifying what she suitably describes as a family-like atmosphere.
“We are a company people helping people,” Dr. Rushing-Lopez, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, explaining the logistics surrounding her featured business endeavors. “(We are committed to) treating your family like our very own family.”
The company to which Rushing-Lopez is alluding is Lotus Home Care Agency, her newly-erected Memphis-based health care venture that has become a fixture for customarily providing employment for skilled nursing, home health aides, as well as for certified nurse assistant occupational therapy.
The official grand opening of Rushing-Lopez’s business is October 20.

In addition, Lotus Home Care Agency routinely provides light cleaning to prepare meals, bathing, dressing, assist with doctor’s appointments, medications, eating, assist patients with limited mobility with taking medications, among other entities.
Located at 5685 Ridgeway Center Parkway, Suite 300 in Southeast Memphis — “We are a newly founded company in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee,” Rushing-Lopez proudly acknowledges — Lotus Home Care Agency has been fortunate to build partnerships with some of the industry’s finest health care providers.
“This venture has taken me from Nashville, Tennessee to the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, where I have worked with some of the well-known home care agencies after my training with Concorde Career College in 2002,” Rushing-Lopez told MHN. “My personal mission is to make sure our community of Shelby County, Tennessee has a well-known company in which the community can not only trust but can count on as its No. 1 family household name.”
A credible health care agency that customarily services individuals and groups ranging in ages 18-and-up, Rushing-Lopez emphasized, among other things, “Our business caters to all patients who have limited to no mobility at all, particularly those with special needs.”
Although Lotus Home Care Agency is in its infancy stages, Rushing-Lopez’s experience in her chosen profession spans more than two decades.

As for her ceremonious startup of Lotus Home Care Agency, Rushing-Lopez said her inspiration for starting her featured business endeavors emerged largely from “my heart.”
“I love people by having a heart to help others,” Rushing-Lopez told MHN. “It’s a mission from the Lord to care for others as I’ll want others to treat myself as well as my loved ones.”
SHARING IS CARING
Interestingly enough, Rushing-Lopez said during her company’s forthcoming grand opening, she and her staff will teach the community about the early signs of elderly abuse, bed sores, signs of suicide and depression when a loved one doesn’t feel wanted or love, as well as how to help them cope with their emotions.
“(We must stive) to listen, understand, and encourage family and friends to get (the elderly) out of the house to live life while they have life,” Rushing-Lopez said. “It is very imperative that I inspire others daily that they are doing works that are bringing great care and outcome to the community.
“This is my vision and dream to inspire the community to understand there are great companies in the community that’s willing to help and inspire others for years to come. I am hoping to educate and encourage both (of my company) employees to grow within the company with career and training goals and certified training that they can take into the community with skilled training that’s beyond their reach. Knowledge is wisdom.”
