Because of whom is he and because of where God is taking him, Stephen Eddie Boyd could be appropriately described as a man of many hats.
Especially in the spiritual realm.
Amongst the obvious reasons is that he’s fully persuaded that God has set him aside for His use.

Suitably known as a PK (Preacher’s Kid), Boyd is the founder of Pathway To Life Church International, a milestone that emerged after he has been raised — and garnered training — in First Corinthians Holiness Church in Pocomoke City, Maryland, where my mother was named Pastor in 1979.
“It was there where I began to hone my musical, teaching, and preaching talents,” Boyd, 48, an accomplished author, motivational speaker, trainer, coach, consultant, and music content creator, said in kicking off Making Headline News’ advance national media coverage for Bishop T. For Boyd, his fervent rise to reap sustained ministerial success was discovered at the tender age of five during which he commenced to playing drums and the piano “in that little church,” he recalls.
“Music ministry has always been my passion,” Boyd said. “My family tells me I was singing Andre Crouch’ Jesus Is The Answer at age two.”
Interestingly enough, Boyd, by the time he turned eight, had composed his first song entitled, I Know A Man From Galilee.
Also, Boyd was afforded the golden opportunity to direct the Glorious Mt. Sinai Youth Choir, an area community youth choir, the University Gospel choir, and has served as a guest clinician and facilitator.
Then by age 15, he began teaching Sunday School in his local church.
For what it’s worth, Boyd doesn’t shy away from the notion that he has always been on fire for God, a trend that has enabled him to become a fixture in his local church, community, and the Body of Christ.
“I always knew God had something big for me to do for Him,” Boyd told MHN. “What really propelled me to think and execute ministry at a high level was when I began traveling with the late prophet, Keith D. Grayton, in 1993. As we traveled throughout the country, it was then that I began to see high quality ministry that was far different from my small-town country roots. From those encounters, something ignited in my young heart during those years that told me, ‘I’m calling you to make an international impact.’ Over the years, I didn’t know who, what, or how that would be done, but I was confident in what God showed me.”
Boyd would subsequently travel with Prophet Grayton from 1993-1997.
“Before he transitioned, he received an invitation to preach for (Bishop) Carlton Pearson’s Azusa Street platform,” Boyd said of his affiliation with Prophet Grayton. “This was the beginning of God really molding my manhood and ministry as a preaching and teaching musician.”
A native of Salisbury, Maryland who grew up in nearby Girdletree — a rural Worcester County establishment that is comprised of roughly 149 residents, according to the latest U.S. census — Boyd graduated in 1992 from Snow Hill High School.
Consequently, he enrolled at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore, where he studied Music Education. Boyd would later acquire a Masters in School Leadership from Wilmington University.

“To sharpen my entrepreneurial skills, I’ve attended workshops and seminars,” said Boyd, referring to his time during which he was sponsored by the Minority Business Enterprise, the Small Business Administration, and attended a host of networking events. “(I love) being able to share my musical, teaching, preaching, and prophetic gifts with others and see the transformation that comes from my surrendering to God.”
Much to his delight, Boyd’s array of talents — specifically in the natural and spiritual realms — have attracted a national presence, considering he has been blessed to put his immeasurable gifts on displays in such places as Maryland, Virgina, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, California, Texas, Florida, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Trinidad/Tobago, and Mississippi, among others.
RUNNIN’ FOR JESUS
A member of a family that is comprised of three generations of preachers, Boyd said his grandmother, a host of uncles, and his mother head a list of faith leaders who have greatly inspired him to become all God called him to be.
Boyd also acknowledged he relishes the impact Prophet Grayton, Bishop Corletta Vaughn, Bishop B. Courtney McBath, Tony Evans, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Bishop W.J. Campbell, and Rev. Lewis Watson have had on his life and ministry, which customarily services individuals and groups ranging in ages 12-to-80.
Interestingly enough, Boyd this week announced that he will be hosting a CD release celebration for a local Indie artist, an event that is scheduled to take place November 18.
“(I find enjoyment in) helping ordinary people experience the power of an extraordinary God,” Boyd said.
