And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those He predestined, He also called, those He called, He also justified. Those He justified, He also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:28-31/NIV)
IN HER WINNING SEASON
DALLAS — For what it’s worth, it’s Dr. Letitia Scott Jackson’s testimony.
And she’s sticking to it.
Given the assortment of life-altering odds she has encountered during the course of her life, it’s no wonder she’s guilty of steadfastly paying homage to Almighty God for providing for her a way of escape.
Time and time again.
“In a world where adversity often defines our path, my journey is a testament to the power of purpose, faith, and resilience,” Dr. Jackson explained. “Rising from the depths of poverty and the confines of prison, I have transformed my life into a narrative of success, humility, and service. This is my story of being purposely prosperous.”

Indeed, it is for Dr. Jackson, an esteemed Dallas/Fort Worth-area businesswoman and philanthropist who is the face of Keeping Families Connected, a credible nonprofit organization she established erected approximately nine years ago.
Generally, the strategic mission of Keeping Families Connected is centered in large part on enriching the lives of young people, most notably through events, as well as by way of providing educational resources, mentoring, and counseling services.
For Dr. Jackson, her rise to evolving as a feel-good story in her own right comes amid humble beginnings, having conquered a life-altering rash of hardships that has fueled her fervent drive to adopt the personal catchphrase: Purposely Prosperous: From Poverty and Prison to God-Made Millionaire.
To grasp a thorough concept of why the opportunistic Dr. Jackson deems it essential to embrace virtually every opportunity that’s afforded to her, look no further than how God has gone about moving on her behalf during a time when it seemed countless of others had written her off.

Wrongfully convicted only to wound up emerging victorious during her case that unfolded in the Texas Fifth Circuit Courts, Dr. Jackson subsequently had become greatly inspired to share with the masses a riveting, tear-jerking story that could be appropriately deemed a dramatic comeback for the ages.
After all, it’s a testimony, and she’s sticking to it.
“My life took a drastic turn when I found myself incarcerated,” Dr. Jackson told Making Headline News this week. “While many might view prison as a dead end, I saw it as an opportunity for transformation. Within those walls, I had the chance to reflect deeply on my life choices, my ambitions, and my purpose.’
Oddly, during her time behind bars, Dr. Jackson viewed her dreaded incarceration as a golden opportunity to adopt a new lease on life.
Mission accomplished.
“I immersed myself in books, studies, and self-improvement programs, seeking knowledge and wisdom that would guide me when I re-entered society,” Dr. Jackson told MHN. “I realized that my past did not define my future. Instead, it could fuel my desire to rise above my circumstances.”

Having adopted the familiar Biblical passage that is Jeremiah 29:11 as her life’s spiritual rallying cry, Dr. Jackson doesn’t shy away from the notion there is an awe-inspiring vision behind being purposely prosperous.
“Upon my release, I committed myself to living a life aligned with my newfound values,” Dr. Jackson said. “With a combination of grit, faith, and the knowledge I had gained, I began to build my own business. The road to becoming a millionaire was not easy, but every obstacle was a lesson in disguise. I learned to invest wisely, network genuinely, and work tirelessly. My faith in God guided my steps, reminding me that every blessing I received was a responsibility to give back.”
Interestingly enough, Dr. Jackson emphasized she isn’t just an ordinary millionaire.
“Today, I am proud to call myself a God-made millionaire,” Dr. Jackson says without hesitation. “But wealth, to me, is not merely a bank balance. It’s the ability to create change and uplift others.”
Through her notable contributions to her community, Dr. Jackson and her organization have gone to great lengths to empower millennials to steadfastly become better versions of themselves.
“I have dedicated a significant part of my life to teaching others about the principles of success and abundance,” Dr. Jackson said. “Through workshops, speaking engagements, and personal coaching, I share the strategies that helped me break free from my past. My approach focuses on the importance of mindset, resilience, and the power of faith in overcoming obstacles.
“I emphasize that prosperity is not just about financial wealth. It encompasses emotional, spiritual, and social wealth as well. By nurturing a holistic view of success, I empower others to pursue their dreams and live purposefully, regardless of their starting point.”
MASSIVE DESTINY STEPS
Continued Dr. Jackson:
“As I reflect on my journey from poverty and prison to becoming a God-made millionaire, I am filled with gratitude. My story is one of resilience, faith, and a commitment to serve. I am not just a product of my circumstances; I am a testament to what is possible when one is purposely prosperous.
“In a world that often celebrates individual success, I choose to celebrate community and collective growth,” Dr. Jackson added. “My legacy will be defined not by the wealth I accumulate but by the lives I touch and the hope I inspire. Together, we can rewrite the narrative of our lives and create a future filled with blessings for ourselves and those around us.”
In another development:
Dr. Jackson this week announced Keeping Families Connected will be hosting AYO GALA (which means – Joy in Nigerian), its annual fundraiser.
This event will take place February 25 at the Bentley Dallas Dealership at 6 p.m. CDT and will feature a gallery of celebrity guests and dignitaries.
SAVE THE DATE
Among the prominent guests scheduled to attend the fundraiser are D. J. Kayotik (50 Cent’s disc jockey) and celebrity red carpet host, Law Nation, and a “guest influential host” to be announced, Dr. Jackson said.
“Please join us as we are on a mission to raise proceeds to purchase a new van or SUV for Keeping Families Connected so that we can keep families connected to their incarcerated loved ones,” Dr. Jackson said. “Despite the success I have achieved, I remain grounded in humility. I understand the struggles that many face because I have lived through them. I am committed to giving back to my community, whether through mentorship programs, scholarships, or providing resources to those in need. I believe that true prosperity comes from lifting others as we climb.
“My mission is to teach others how to access their own blessings, showing them that their past does not dictate their future.”
