Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)
SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE

Just recently, Tiffany Peele McCullen preached her very first sermon.
According to those who witnessed her much-anticipated milestone, the rising North Carolina faith leader was as good advertised.
Now a few weeks removed from having taken her rightful place behind the sacred desk, McCullen doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s looking to expand her divine assignment for someone who has been set aside for God’s use.
As part of Making Headline News’ advance national coverage ahead of Sarah Jakes Roberts’ Third Annual Woman Evolve Conference July 31 through August 2 from Atlanta, Georgia, McCullen, 55, said plans are in the works to start what is suitably known as Tiffany’s Heart, a nonprofit organization designed to strategically mentor and help young single mothers find long-term housing.
SALUTING WOMEN WHO SHAPE OUR WORLD
A member of Goldsboro, North Carolina’s Kingdom Builders Outreach Ministries, McCullen’s fervent rise as an esteemed woman of faith comes amid her memorable upbringing, one that was spearheaded by her mother, Anna Jean Peele, and my grandmother, Carrie Mae Peele.
“They weren’t rich with worldly possessions but rich with love and compassion for everyone,” McCullen said of her spiritual leaders. “They loved the Lord and showed that love to me and my sister every day.”

A native of Mount Olive, North Carolina — a rural Duplin and Wayne counties establishment that is comprised of roughly 4,198 residents, according to the latest U.S. census — McCullen’s forthcoming ministry will customarily service young women ranging in ages 18-to-30, particularly those who aspire to grasp a better understanding of the Bible “but are afraid to ask.”
“(What I love the most operating in ministry is) being able to encourage others, being someone that people trust and confide in,” McCullen told MHN. “This brings me so much joy.
“My youngest daughter, Zyare, recently graduated from Fayetteville State University, where she mentioned to her friends and classmates that I was a minister,” McCullen, who preached her first sermon March 30, continued. “Her friends said they wanted to have a better understanding of scriptures and books of the Bible. They said they would watch videos or listen to recordings if I would do this. This is my personal mission for kingdom work, reaching young people who want a clearer understanding of the Bible without judgement.”
Besides the influential impact of her mother — “the person who inspired me the most…she was a powerful woman of God…I wish she was physically here with us, but I know she is smiling down from heaven” — McCullen said she’s especially grateful to her pastor, Apostle Helen Armstrong, whom she credits for being a solid mentor and spiritual advisor.
“He has always encouraged and supported me,” McCullen said of Apostle Armstrong.
Having been actively involved in ministry for the past decade, McCullen is prayerful that God will enlarge her territory as she steadfastly fortifies her immeasurable kingdom works, a trend she hopes will give way to other opportunities to preach and spread the gospel around the globe.
Given the outpour of support amid her first official sermon, she undoubtedly seems well on her way to witness such a lofty ambition come to fruition.
“I was called to bring people into the kingdom of God,” McCullen — who also serves as on the praise team and an usher at KBOM — said. “I know it’s what I was called to do. I want to be a person that makes people feel comfortable and they will come to me with questions, or they need guidance about their Christian journey.”
Now that her initial sermon is in the books, McCullen said she doesn’t for granted — “nor do I take it lightly” — the notion that God has strategically handpicked her to preach His life-altering word for such a crucial time as now.
“I wouldn’t be where I am without the support of my family — my husband, LoWayne McCullen, my children, Arerial and Zyare, my grandchildren, Jymere, Jymerion and Aubrianna, and a wonderful support system of family and friends.”
