Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)
BORN TO SLAY
DALLAS — All things considered, 2008 was the year in which Inger Wafer had crossed paths with her life’s defining moment.
Truth be told, no one can tell Wafer’s story the way she can.
“In 2008, I was homeless, lost my vehicles, and had to send my children separate places to live,” Wafer, during a weekend interview with Making Headline News, said, recalling the downtrodden developments that had ultimately contributed to her quest to delve off into entrepreneurship. “It was the lowest place in my life. What kept me from being homeless on the streets was family members took me in. That was when I realized the importance credit.”
To her credit, it was the importance of favorable credit that has greatly propelled Wafer to find her divine purpose, thus erase the memory of all that transpired in her life some 12 years ago.
A native of Haughton, Louisiana — a rural Bossier Parish establishment that is comprised of roughly 3,454 residents, according to the latest U. S. census — Wafer is the face of Credit Slayer Consulting Services, a Dallas/Fort Worth-area financial advisory and consulting firm that has become a fixture for empowering others to come out of what she appropriately describes as “poverty-stricken thinking.”
Suitably known as Dallas’ K104 FM’s Officially Credit Expert, Credit Slayer Consulting Services customarily offer credit coaching and training for those who desire to start their own credit repair business or who aspire to have their own credit repaired by some of the finest professionals in the industry.

A professional stint that spans 13 years, Wafer emphasized, among other things, that once she made up her mind to focus on cleaning up her credit, that is when her array of unfavorable situations and circumstances had changed.
In a nutshell, her transformed mindset pertaining to satisfactory credit had greatly enabled her to put her poverty-stricken mentality where it belongs: behind her.
“My mission is to empower families to build network and build legacies,” Wafer explained.”
Widely known as “The Credit Slayer,” Wafer also assumes the roles as a Certified Life, Credit and Business Coach, whose chief responsibilities includes — but aren’t limited to — teaching financial strategies and the power of credit leverage.
In essence, Wafer has described as an “Ambassador of the Marketplace,” one who is dedicated to bringing as “many families as possible” out of financial distress.
A graduate of South Garland High School, Wafer earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing Full Sail University.
For Wafer, her rise to credit restoration success comes amid humble beginnings, coupled with her quest to bring about positive changes in her life.
Nearly a decade-and-a-half removed from having started her business venture, Wafer has enjoyed a considerable amount of success as arguably one of the best credit repair professionals in DFW.
Inspired by fellow credit restoration guru Cedric Brown, — “He inspired me to learn credit inside and out,” she said — Wafer’s endeavor is starting to attract more of a global presence.
“I’ve traveled across the globe, teaching, advising, and assisting with credit and trading strategies,” Wafer said. “I’m determined to break up simple thinking and wealth building myths as it pertains (finances).”
Interestingly, Wafer’s itinerary includes speaking to a group of millennial women at a private event in August entitled, “Power of Good Credit.”
Now that she has gotten a firm hold of all things credit restoration, Wafer acknowledged she’s destined to help others to likewise reap and savor a carefree lifestyle.
“Enough time has passed where many believed paying cash for everything was the key only to find out we should have been building credit since the age of 16,” Wafer said.
Truth be told, no one can tell her story the way she can, as evidenced by the sustained entrepreneurial success she’s garnered.
