Brands Suit Warehouse is one of Dallas/Fort Worth’s finest hubs for stylish men’s fashion

DOING IT BIG IN TEXAS

WHAT IT’LL BE? From the latest and up-to-date versions of men’s suits, shoes, neckties, to arguably some of the hottest and most sought after attires for the annual prom seasons, weddings clergymen, etc., Brands is — in playing off of words — committed to staying true to its brand, a movement that has given way to owners Kevin and Nick Ramezani reaping sustained success.

DALLAS — Throughout her tenure in a men’s fashion industry that spans more than four decades, Sebrina Jones has come to embrace one notable trend within the walls of Brands Suit Warehouse.

That is, she has seized the concept that every now and then, some of her most dedicated customer will deem it essential to assist and accommodate other customers.
For Jones, such a pleasant gesture, by all accounts, is what makes her job even more gratifying.
“Yeah…we’re always having customers waiting on customers,” Jones told Making Headline News this week. “They feel so comfortable, they help us. That’s what you call good customer service.”
Not only that, it is due in large part because of Brands’ proverbial guide-you-along concept toward its customers that has contributed mightily it becoming one of Dallas/Fort Worth’s most popular hubs for men’s fashion.
TRIPLE D SENSATION — Located at 4140 West Camp Wisdom Road, Suite C — or roughly a half mile south of the Duncanville city limits — Brands has become a fixture in the greater Oak Cliff district of Dallas.

Located at 4140 West Camp Wisdom Road, Suite C — or roughly a half mile south of the Duncanville city limits — Brands has become a fixture in the greater Oak Cliff district of Dallas.

Brands and Suit And Shoe Outlet offer a variety of brand name men’s fashion attire from Falcone, Stacy Adams, Maurizio, Brand Q, Karl Knox, Renoir, Globe, Gorgio Brutini, Calvin Klein, Steven Land, Verse 9, Encore, and Inserch, among others.

A native of Dallas, Jones, 60, has been employed by Brands since 2009 and, much to her delight, she has developed a close-knit bond with a number of its regular customers.

Prior to joining the Brands team, Jones had already established solid and immeasurable men’s fashion resume, considering she had compiled more than 30 years of professional experience.

“I have a lot of favorite customers,” Jones said. “I have customers who have been with me for over 30 years.”

LEADING BY EXAMPLE — Prior to joining the Brands team, fashion coordinator Sebrina Jones had already established solid and immeasurable men’s fashion resume, considering she had compiled more than 30 years of professional experience.

Prior to its Camp Wisdom location that went into operations in 2006, the Ramezanies’ company was named the Big And Tall Fashion For Less and was housed in nearby Mesquite, Texas.

Brands’ original store, meanwhile, was located in Cedar Hill.

The Ramezanies have since expanded their business, thus adding Suit And Shoe Outlet, which essentially is located across the street from their primary site in the historic Red Bird Village.

Both locations, in fact, offer a variety of brand name men’s fashion attire from Falcone, Stacy Adams, Maurizio, Brand Q, Karl Knox, Renoir, Globe, Gorgio Brutini, Calvin Klein, Steven Land, Verse 9, Encore, and Inserch, among others.

WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED — It is due in large part because of Brand’s customary guide-you-along concept toward its customers that has contributed mightily it becoming one’s Dallas/Fort Worth most popular hubs for men’s fashion.

Interestingly, Jones said that plans are effectively underway for management to erect an online site, where customers can shop and have items shipped to them anywhere around the country.

“Whatever you want, we’ve got it,” said Jones, placing even more emphasis on the company’s key ingredient that is efficient customer service. “We don’t turn you a loose until (you’ve found what you want).”

Every now and then, Brands’ customers might perhaps find themselves becoming the beneficiaries of jokes, Jones acknowledged with a grin.

Interestingly, Jones said that plans are effectively underway for management to erect an online site, where customers can shop and have items shipped to them anywhere around the country.

“We even joke with you,” Jones said a routine gesture that customarily makes her job more amusing.

Fellow Brands’ fashion coordinator Guen Abello Bethley, like Jones, has gone to great lengths to find her comfort zone with a company whose best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

STAR WATCH — Brands’ fashion coordinator Guen Abello Bethley has had the pleasure to accommodating the fashion needs of a host of globally-acclaimed celebrities, most notably Joe Jackson, the late father and manager of pop music icon Michael Jackson, who passed away in June 2018 at the age of 89.

“Working for this company gave me an opportunity to develop my skills in fashion coordinating and store management,” Bethley said.

Credit the fact that she’s also had the pleasure to accommodating the fashion needs of a host of globally-acclaimed celebrities, most notably Joe Jackson, the late father and manager of pop music icon Michael Jackson, who passed away in June 2018 at the age of 89.

“I’ve grown so much as an individual,” Bethley said, “and I am a better fashion consultant and a regional manager because of this company.”

Is Dallas entrepreneur Sakina G. Jackson the seasoning mix industry’s best kept secret?

OVERFLOW SEASON-ING

SALT OF THE EARTH — The proud creator and CEO of what is technically known as Big Toe Seasonings LLC, Sakina G. Jackson’s products are steadily attracting more of national presence, considering she’s fielding orders all across the country.

DESOTO, Texas — Just recently, Sakina G. Jackson took to her Facebook page, where she staged a rather spirited post to her timeline.

Don’t get twisted, mind you. She wasn’t merely bragging.
If nothing else, she was only enlightening the masses of the continuous buzz surrounding what is shaping up to be a globally-acclaimed invention for the ages.
Said Jackson before her hundreds of social media followers: “I’m just saying! Get you some Big Toe Seasonings.”
For what it’s worth, Jackson undoubtedly has earned the right to exemplify such passion for a product that figures to turn heads in countless of households and restaurants for years to come.
Never mind that she senses those avenues by which to start a company is very much like birthing a baby — to put it more appropriately.

MORE ON BIG TOE SEASONING LLC: https://bigtoeseasonings.com/

“Growing up in a family of seven, five siblings and being a tomboy, winning in life has always been a goal,” Jackson told Making Headline News this week. “I started working in Corporate America in the 90’s as a legal services company (during) which there were many competitors. Learning to be my best in all areas of business was imperative.”

Speaking of being her best, Jackson’s entrepreneurship track record is such that she’s been nothing short of remarkable.

The proud creator and CEO of what is technically known as Big Toe Seasonings LLC, Jackson’s products are steadily attracting more of national presence, considering she’s routinely fielding orders all across the country.

Interestingly, she’s essentially gotten a massive portion of the Southern region on lock, most notably in the tri-state areas that’s comprised of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.

“I was able to visit cities such as Jackson Mississippi, Meridian, Mississippi, Selma Alabama, Monroe, Louisiana, just to name a few…and on to Columbus, Georgia,” Jackson said. “My products have traveled to more places than I have myself have (she continued while laughing).  I am hoping to catch up.”

FINISHED PRODUCT — Because of her impressive Corporate America resume, coupled with a solid support system that’s spearheaded by her parents, Raymond and Bobbie Jackson, as well as her grandmother, Vessie Jackson,  and, most of all, “my big faith in Jesus,” she acknowledged, it’s safe to assume that Jackson’s Big Toe Seasoning’s best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

Most recently, Jackson engaged in a rather festive and intriguing tour she famously dubbed as “FLAVAs,” during which she was afforded golden opportunities to put her immeasurable entrepreneurship skills on display.

As usual, she was as good as advertised, in large part because consumers have come to embrace — and savor — Jackson’s delectable, mouthwatering seasonings, especially her annual holiday season’s faithful three: Lemon Pepper, Creole, and the Big Toe’s ever-so-popular Bless Yo Heart seasoning, a traditionally historic southern catchphrase Jackson’s granddaughter is responsible for having named.

LOCKED AND LOADED — Interestingly, Jackson essentially has gotten a massive portion of the Southern region on lock, most notably in establishments such as Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. “I was able to visit cities such as Jackson Mississippi, Meridian, Mississippi, Selma Alabama, Monroe, Louisiana, just to name a few…and on to Columbus, Georgia,” Jackson said.

A native of Dallas, Jackson’s rise to reaping sustained entrepreneurial success comes amid a season during which she had already emerged as a beneficiary of an unlikely breakthrough.

Jackson enjoyed a stellar stint in the Corporate America sector when she was promoted to a city government post in nearby Cedar Hill for what was supposed to be a two-week temporary assignment.

Such an assignment had ultimately lasted some eight years which, to Jackson’s surprise, had given way to her being named Director of Municipal Court.

DID YOU KNOW…

“I do attribute this growth to a manager, who saw my leadership qualities, which quite frankly, stemmed from several years in corporate and my vast entrepreneurial skills,” Jackson said. “Becoming a mother heightened this desire as I wanted my children and grandchildren to know that if they educate themselves in whatever they set out to do in life, they too, can achieve success.  I now have moved into inspiring friends, women, veterans, youth to live their truth.”

Because of her impressive Corporate America resume, coupled with a solid support system that’s spearheaded by her parents, Raymond and Bobbie Jackson, as well as her grandmother, Vessie Jackson,  and, most of all, “my big faith in Jesus,” she acknowledged, it’s safe to assume that Jackson’s Big Toe Seasoning’s best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

FOR STARTERS — A native of Dallas, Jackson’s rise to reaping sustained success comes amid a season during which she had already emerged as a beneficiary of an unlikely breakthrough. Jackson enjoyed a stellar stint in the Corporate America sector when she was promoted to a city government post in nearby Cedar Hill for what was supposed to be a two-week temporary assignment.

So don’t get it twisted.

“In all honesty, I have come to know that how we treat and help one another is a direct correlation with our own joy and happiness,” Jackson said. “A soul that simply exists to please him or herself is usually in my experience a very sad individual…a void of inner joy.  Therefore, I live to inspire others of all ethnic groups, ages, and cultures. It is my truth.”

Bless her ‘lil heart.

Is longtime Dallas/Fort Worth businesswoman Kristen J. Price the real estate industry’s best kept secret?

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6 KJV)

DOING IT BIG IN TEXAS

DESTINY STEPS — A native of Dallas, Kristen J. Price, 52, is owner and chief executive officer of Hylton Homes Realty, LLC.

DALLAS — Earlier this week, Texas businesswoman Kristen J. Price wasted little time offering a thorough assessment of her drive in her selected line of work.

She was only keeping it 100.
“Let’s face it,” Price explained during an interview with Making Headline News. “There’s an increasing number of individuals that have the same ethnic makeup and background as myself, who have the thought in their minds that they will never be able to own their own home. I’m here to let them know differently. If they have the desire, tenacity and dream to give it a try, I am here to make that dream a reality with my professional knowledge and guidance in the real estate industry.
“You too can own your own home,” Price continued. “Not just one, but two, three, or however many your heart desires.”

To grasp a thorough concept of why Price speaks with such passion and splendor when assessing the joy of functioning mightily in her element, look no further than the immeasurable strides she’s made as one of Texas’ most resourceful and efficient real estate brokers.

Interestingly, with Price’s expertise and knowledge of the real estate industry, she will steadfastly work tirelessly on her clients’ behalf, all the while making their next home-buying or home-selling experience a pleasant and successful one.

“Therefore, whether you are considering selling a home, looking for a new build or an existing home or in the preliminary stages of a Dallas area real estate search, you have found the best in professional service,” said a spokesperson for Price’s Hylton Homes Realty.

A 1985 graduate of Dallas’ Wilmer-Hutchins High, Price holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas in nearby Denton.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER — A 1985 graduate of Dallas’ Wilmer-Hutchins High, Price holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas in nearby Denton. Consequently, she advanced her education when she earned a Master of Science Degree in Human Relations and Business in 2000 from Amberton University in nearby Garland.

Consequently, she advanced her education when she earned a Master of Science Degree in Human Relations and Business in 2000 from Amberton University in nearby Garland.

As for her immeasurable experience in the ever-so-competitive real estate industry, Price’s tenure spans some 15 years, five of which she served as a sales agent and 10 years as an independent broker.

She is scheduled to teach what is known as the Military Relocation Professional Class on July 17 at the MetroTex Association of Realtors.

Also, Price will conduct a live recording with other media analysts at her local church, Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church on July 8 at 6:00 p.m. CST.

Given the immense strides she made over the course of the past decade-and-a-half, it’s safe to say that even in the wake of her sustained success, Price’s best and brightest days as a real estate broker are well ahead of her.

This, to her credit, essentially means that Price hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down any time soon, considering she’s walking diligently in her divine purpose.

“Service is my personal mission,” Price said. “I love offering my professional service, expertise, and knowledge of real estate to the consumers. I work for and with my clients. Notice I said ‘for them’ first. I put all of my clients’ interests before my very own. It’s not about me, but all about them and assisting them with accomplishing that one goal of home ownership.”

When asked who were amongst those who inspired her to delve off into such a rewarding and commendable industry, Price deems it essential to customarily recall a somewhat intriguing memory.

“A realtor by the name of Candy Hudson — who represented my husband at the time — and me in the sale of our first home,” Price explained. “She stated to me one day after a meeting with us, ‘Kristen, have you ever thought about doing real estate?’ My response was, ‘No.’ She went on to say that, ‘I think that you would be good at it, because you are such a great communicator.’”

GOD-ORDERED STEPS

To grasp a thorough concept of why Price speaks with such passion and splendor when assessing the joy of functioning mightily in her element, look no further than the immeasurable strides she’s made as one of Texas’ most resourceful and efficient real estate brokers.

And the rest, as they say, was history, particularly with regards to Price appropriately heeding the wise counsel of Hudson.

“There was not much thought given to the conversation until after we had moved into our new home in Mesquite, Texas,” Price said. “The rest is history.”

Here she is today, not only steadily setting herself apart as one of Texas’ most resourceful and efficient real estate brokers but, much to her delight, she routinely goes to great lengths to ensure that her clients’ dreams become realities in the process.

All because, well, she was determined to the trust process of what it takes to become a fixture in one America’s most popular and competitive industries.

DS-TEXAS’ OWN

“Winston Churchill stated that, ‘Success is the ability to go from one failure to another, with no loss of enthusiasm,’ said Price before backing up such an analogy with the familiar Biblical verse that is Philippians 4:6. “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.”

All things considered, coupled with the divine calling on her life, that’s just what Price has done — made her requests known unto God.

And left the results to Him.

Look at her today, having emerged as one of Texas’ most resourceful and efficient real estate brokers.

Fort Worth author Helena Lewis-Norman savors her ‘new next’ courtesy of emotionally-driven book

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NIV)

TRAGEDY TO TRIUMPH

BUT GOD — Helena Lewis-Norman, in fact, can greatly attest to shattered dreams, as she vividly details in her newly-produced book entitled, “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed,” an emotionally-driven, tear-jerking written work that was officially released in mid-April.

DALLAS — For Helena Lewis-Norman, the turmoil she’s endured in recent years, she wouldn’t wish for it to transpire in the life of her worst enemy.

“At some point in life, something will happen to shatter your dreams, your faith, and yes, your whole life,” Lewis-Norman told Making Headline News this week, recalling the tumultuous, disheartening developments surrounding the deaths of her daughter and grandchild. “Tragedy, hurt, and brokenness cross all socioeconomic boundaries, leaving us feeling hopeless.”
Lewis-Norman, in fact, can greatly attest to these encounters, as she vividly details in her newly-produced book entitled, “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed,” an emotionally-driven, tear-jerking written work that was officially released in mid-April.

BOOK SIGNING ALERT!!!

A native of nearby Fort Worth, Lewis-Norman will host a book signing for “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed,” her 176-page featured written document that addresses an assortment of pertinent topics, most notably what this Christian-based writer refers to as tragedy, hurt, and brokenness, all of which cross virtually all socioeconomic boundaries.

A book signing and brunch celebration for this sought-after book will take on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST at the Hampton Inn and Suites, located at 6555 Park Brook in Forest Hill, Texas.

As Lewis-Norman eloquently explained, it was God Who strategically assigned her to compose an awe-inspiring book whereby she recalls in great details how He anchored her spiritually during what arguably was the darkest season of her life.

“It doesn’t matter who you are, somewhere along your journey, life will deal you a hand you don’t know how to play,” Lewis-Norman said. “At that moment, your entire life hinges upon your decision.”

Within minutes after offering a detailed synopsis of her new book, this devout woman of faith then poses a few rather riveting, thought-provoking questions to masses to ponder, particularly as it pertains to their respective season in the wilderness.

“Will you react and continue to do the same things you’ve always done such as avoid painful times in your life? Or will you respond by doing something different and deal with the broken pieces in your life?” Lewis-Norman said. “Things that have shattered in your life, which left you broken, all had a purpose to prepare you for your new next.”

For Lewis-Norman, because of her bend-but-don’t break faith, coupled with her spiritually resiliency as one of God’s beloved spokespersons, she can dauntless profess that she’s ceremoniously crossed over into her “new next.”

Yep. To God be the glory.

“There is life after loss of a love one, divorce — which feels like a death — transition or change of employment or financial crisis,” Lewis-Norman said.

As expected, the feedback for Lewis-Norman’s “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed” has been overwhelmingly favorable.

“Excellent feedback of transparent moments shared in the book,” Lewis-Norman said.

For Lewis-Norman, because of her bend-but-don’t break faith, coupled with her spiritually resiliency as one of God’s beloved spokespersons, she can dauntless profess that she’s ceremoniously crossed over into her “new next.”

Interestingly, while putting the wraps on her newly-produced project, Lewis-Norman recalls how God had given her specific instructions as a strategic, effective way to minister to His people.

“While finalizing the last chapters of the book, I was ignited as the purpose pusher to help push people who have been paralyzed by their pain and stagnated in disappointment, which caused them to doubt who they are in God,” Lewis-Norman said.

In addition, Lewis-Norman told Making Headline News that she’s devising ways to construct a stage play for “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed.”

Texas ‘Living Legend’ Bishop John Lewis Johnson to be honored for 60 years as Senior Pastor of Greater Progressive COGIC

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)

60 SHADES OF GRACE

FORT WORTH, Texas — Bishop John Lewis Johnson.

Clearly, such a name ought to ring a bell, should have by now undoubtedly become a fixture throughout the historic Church of God In Christ, a religious-based organization that is widely regarded as the largest Pentecostal church and the fifth largest Christian church in the country.
To grasp a thorough concept of why Bishop Johnson should have garnered a well-respected, unprecedented presence in the national church at this stage in his ministerial tenure, look no further than his immeasurable, well-publicized track record as one of Texas’ oldest clergymen, who is the Senior Pastor of Greater Progressive Church of God In Christ in Fort Worth.
To his distinctly unique credit, Bishop Johnson’s pastoral career is nearing an unprecedented six decades, an awe-inspiring, unfathomable feat that will be commemorated during his 60th Pastoral celebration on Friday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m. CST at Dayspring Family Church, located at 618 North Belt Lane Road in nearby Irving.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY — To his distinctly unique credit, Bishop John Lewis Johnson’s pastoral career is nearing an unprecedented six decades, an awe-inspiring, unfathomable feat that will be commemorated during his 60th Pastoral celebration on Friday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m. CST at Dayspring Family Church, located at 618 North Belt Lane Road in nearby Irving.

A gallery that will be comprised of his membership, colleagues, family members, and a host of well-wishers will collectively engage in a celebratory praise and worship service, during which they will pay homage to 93-year-old Bishop Johnson, who has been the face of Greater Progressive COGIC dating back to May 23, 1959.

The service will be highlighted by a featured speaker, Superintendent Melton R. Timmons, the Senior Pastor of Jones Valley Community COGIC in Tyler, Texas.

Timmons serves as Secretary for COGIC’s National Board of Trustees.

THE CHURCH’S HIGHEST OFFICE

All things considered, Bishop Johnson has surely earned the right to be celebrated for his exceptional body of work as one of God’s beloved spokesperson, one who has evolved as a beacon of light in his own right, particularly in the national church.

Having sold out completely to God on February 15, 1949 at the tender age of 23, it was within the walls of the very historic church he pastors that he surrendered his life to Christ.

A little more than a year later — April 26, 1950, to be technical — Bishop Johnson had graciously accepted his divine calling to preach the Gospel.

To his credit, he’s been on God’s battlefield ever since, considering his ministerial resume includes having served under the leadership of the late Elder D.C. Littlefield, during which he was the Greater Progressive COGIC’s Assistant Pastor for just shy of a decade.

Interestingly, Bishop Johnson was officially ordained as an Elder in 1959, a milestone that had ultimately given way to his ceremoniously appointment by the late Bishop F. L. Haynes as Senior Pastor of Greater Progressive on May 23, 1959 (he was installed by the late Bishop D. L. Smith).

Following a notable presence in the Texas Northeast First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction — a stint that included having assumed roles as trustee and chairman of the Board of Superintendents, as well as a Program Planning Committee member — Bishop Johnson was promoted to Administrative Assistant to the Office of the Bishop on December 29, 1992. Consequently, he was consecrated as an Auxiliary Bishop by Presiding Bishop Charles Edward Blake Sr. during COGIC’s 109th National Holy Convocation on November 13, 2016.

Years before assuming his heavenly promotion to the highest office in the church, Bishop Johnson was the beneficiary of an honorary doctorate by Dallas’ Paul Quinn College on October 17, 1990.

Three years later, he was recognized by a host of delegates in the Fort Worth Community when he was deemed a “Living Legend.”

Bishop Johnson is the former husband to the late Mother Alma Katherine Johnson, a union that lasted 65 years before her demise.

Labeled a “gospel giant” by his peers and colleagues, Bishop Johnson’s unparalleled preaching tenure spans nearly seven decades, a stint that’s also accompanied by 49 years as a District Superintendent and 44 years as a Jurisdictional Administrative Assistant.

WELL DONE

MASSIVE TRACK RECORD — All things considered, Bishop Johnson has undoubtedly earned the right to be celebrated for his exceptional body of work as one God’s beloved spokesperson, one who has evolved as a beacon of light in his own right, particularly in the national church.

A pastoral career that will reach 60 years as of May 23, Bishop Johnson currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Texas Northeast First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Prelate, Bishop J.E. Hornsby.

Clearly, such a name ought to ring a bell, should have undoubtedly become a fixture throughout the historic Church of God In Christ.

For 60 years…and counting.

VySion (pronounced Vision) is a 6,000 square feet venue that is suitable for hosting an array of events

DESOTO, Texas — As a longtime Texas entrepreneur, amongst JerTerria Dawson’s strategic objectives is striving to view virtually every business-related transaction from a broader perspective — to steadfastly devise ways to demonstrate a team-oriented concept, if you will.

“I honestly believe that everyone can win if we work together,” Dawson, 37, told Making Headline News this week. “There is enough business and clients in DFW that everyone can be successful. With that being said, I believe in assisting others and referring my potential clients to other venues if I am booked and other business owners have done the same.”

SEE THE VYSION : https://www.vysionevents.com/

It is due in large part to Dawson’s passion for displaying a heart for people that has contributed mightily to her sustaining entrepreneurship success as owner and chief executive officer of VySion Events.

Located at 360 East Beltline Road in the heart of Desoto, Texas, VySion (pronounced Vision) is a 6,000 square feet venue that is suitable for hosting an array of events, most notably (but not limited to:

  • Weddings and Receptions

  • Parties

  • Celebrations

  • Social Dances

  • Quinceaneras

  • Baby Showers

  • Video Shoots

  • Photo Shoots

  • Repass (Funeral Reception)

  • Sweet 16

  • Banquets

  • Reunions

  • Graduations

  • Corporate Events

  • Fashion Shows and,

  • Art Galleries

CATCH THE VYSION

SIGN OF THINGS TO COME — Because this venue has emerged as one of the finest of its kind, particularly in North Texas, Dawson is convinced that her latest endeavor’s best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

In essence, this spaciously luxurious establishment is widely deemed a fixture throughout Dallas/Fort Worth’s Metroplex, in large part because its staff specializes in providing elegant social and corporate events to residents throughout the area.

“One major difference between VySion Events and other event facilities is that we not only provide our clients with a rental facility for their events, but we provide exceptional customer service while offering decor, linens, and vendor packages,” Dawson, a native of Dallas,  said.

Having credited her mother for fueling her desire to delve off into entrepreneurship, Dawson’s quest to owning an event venue essentially commenced during her undergraduate days.

A business that is nearly its first full of year of existence, Dawson and her staff are overwhelmingly appreciative of the instant — and continuous — success  VySion Events has enjoyed since its inception.

Most importantly, because this venue has emerged as one of the finest of its kind, particularly in North Texas, Dawson is convinced that her latest endeavor’s best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

“I like how my staff and I make my clients feel from start to finish,” Dawson said. “I believe in delivering exceptional service to my clients and that is what we strive to do with each event. We just love making each event a memorable one.”

Interestingly, when it comes to going above and beyond to ensure that each event is indeed an unforgettable one, there is virtually no limit on ages of individuals and groups to whom Dawson and Co. cater.

In other words, when pitching a call to VySion Events, rest assured that Dawson and staff will accommodate your every need and will provide the kind of service that undoubtedly will be nothing short of remarkable.

For Dawson, it wasn’t until after she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (with a minor in Film Studies) from the University of Houston that she began to become more diligent in the purpose for which she was created.

“We do not have a particular age group that we cater to,” Dawson emphasized. “Our youngest client has been one years old and our most seasoned client has been 70 years young. We welcome and cater to all age groups.”

Having credited her mother for fueling her fervent desire to delve off into entrepreneurship, Dawson’s quest to owning an event venue essentially commenced during her undergraduate days.

“While in college I would help people and different organizations plan events,” Dawson said. “However, the love for planning and having nice events grew when I became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.”

A business that is nearly its first full of year of existence, Dawson and her staff are overwhelmingly appreciative of the instant — and continuous — success  VySion Events has enjoyed since its inception.

For Dawson, it wasn’t until after she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (with a minor in Film Studies) from the University of Houston that she began to become more diligent in the purpose for which she was created.

Much to her delight, that is when the concept that is entrepreneurship had become more and more inevitable.

“After graduation I knew that I wanted to have my own event venue,” said Dawson, who also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. “I would often talk to my mom about my desire to pursue this business venture.”

MOM CALLED IT — Interestingly, it wasn’t until after the sudden passing of Dawson’s mother on May 7, 2016 that such a prophesy had come full circle.

Without question, mom knew best, as Dawson had ultimately found out for probably the umpteenth time.

“She would always say, ‘You are going to open up your own event facility, just wait and see,’” Dawson recalled. “I always believed in my mom’s words, but fear, procrastination, doubt, and the No. 1 deterrent of not having money got in the way.”

Interestingly, it wasn’t until after the sudden passing of Dawson’s mother on May 7, 2016 that such a prophesy had come full circle.

“One major difference between VySion Events and other event facilities is that we not only provide our clients with a rental facility for their events, but we provide exceptional customer service while offering decor, linens, and vendor packages,” Dawson, a native of Dallas,  said.

And the rest, as they say, was history.

“We talked for about an hour and she imparted all of her knowledge about the business and, because of her and my mom pushing and guiding me, that is how VySion Events is her today.”

Talk about writing the VySion down and making it plain only to run with it.

In a related development:

Dawson announced that VySion Events will be hosting its inaugural Entrepreneur Pop-Up Shop/Back To School Bash on August 3 from 2 to 7 p.m., an event during which vendors and attendees will be able to donate school supplies.

There is a $100 vendor fee and the deadline to lock in an allotted space is May 24, Dawson said.

Dallas/Fort Worth event planner Kimberly Warner carrying on mother’s memory through entrepreneurship

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified; What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us,who can be against us? (Romans 8:30-31 NIV)

GOD’S FAITH STEPPER

DALLAS — In case you know don’t her, Kimberly Warner would like to introduce herself.

“My name is Kimberly Warner and the proud wife of Minister Kevin Warner,” Warner, displaying a smile, told Making Headline News this week.

As if being married to a loving, supportive husband isn’t enough unmerited favor, Warner will be turning the big 5-0 on July 6.
“I’m very excited to meet this milestone in my life,” Warner said.
Much to her delight, that isn’t the only milestone for which Warner is overwhelmingly enthralled.
A native of nearby Fort Worth, Texas, Warner is a rising entrepreneur as owner and CEO of KWarner Events, her up-and-coming DFW-based event planning management company, whose mission includes, among other things, taking clients’ events and making it a rather, festive, jubilant occasion for the best outcome to “wow” the guest at your event, Warner acknowledged.
DESTINY STEPS — A native of nearby Fort Worth, Texas, Kimberly Warner is a rising entrepreneur as owner and CEO of KWarner Events, her up-and-coming DFW-based event planning management company, whose mission includes, among other things, taking clients’ events and making it a rather, festive, jubilant occasion for the best outcome to “wow” the guest at your event, Warner acknowledged.

An accomplished Corporate American professional who assumes an IT Technician position for a local communications company, Warner said it is it due in large part to her competitive drive, coupled with her keen ability to excel that essentially headline her sustained success as a businesswoman.

“I have always been a competitive individual and very determined to succeed in anything I do,” Warner said. “I have never allowed anyone to tell me I can’t do something without trying it for myself.”

Interestingly, even when adversity has surfaced to challenge her faith, there was Warner, finding the strength to fervently demonstrate faith in ways unimaginable.

“When my husband had his accident, I knew it was my turn to shine and let him know, ‘Since you can’t, I will. So, I do,” said Warner, living up to her marriage vows as God’s specifically commands us to.

Fortunately for Warner, she will be afforded the golden opportunity to promote her business during an action-packed summer concert July 5 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. CST at the Courtyard Theater, located at 1509 H Avenue in nearby Plano, Texas.

Having acknowledged that her “pleasured occupation” is functioning as a full- time caregiver to her husband, who was paralyzed amid a freak accident late last year approximately one month before the couple’s first wedding anniversary, Kimberly Warner deemed it essential to become even more resourceful while overseeing the day-to-day operations of her KWarner Events.

A graduate of Arlington’s Sam Houston High School, Warner holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies and Advocacy from Southern New Hampshire University.

Not to be outdone, this progressive, thriving entrepreneur is currently studying for the Law School Admission Test (or LSAT) with lofty aspiration s of enrolling in law school.

Talk about doing the necessary things that will greatly enable her to walk in the divine purpose for which she was created.

As for KWarner Events, which was organized in 2016 but went into full operations the following year, Warner said achieving her customer service goals and objectives are extremely imperative.

“What I like most about my business is that it allows me to provide a service to a customer that makes them look like the host of the year, and people will always want to come and be a part of their engagements,” Warner said. “Because I am a hopeless romantic, I love the ‘Just Because’ celebrated moments, picnics, and corporate events that promote giving back to the employees and the community.”

That Warner is a part of a close-knit family has also given way to wealth of entrepreneurial success.

“Family was everything to my mother and we celebrated everything,” Warner said. “No matter how big or small. You name it, it was celebrated. Such great times with that same momentum. I propel to put fun, laughter, and memories to any event.”

Fortunately for Warner, she will be afforded the golden opportunity to promote her business during an action-packed summer concert July 5 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. CST at the Courtyard Theater, located at 1509 H Avenue in nearby Plano, Texas.

An event that will be comprised of an array of fun, entertaining, and laughter, tickets can be purchased at: https://www.ticketor.com/kwarnerevents/upcomingevents?pageid=146039.

Amongst the things about which Warner is grateful is that she’s been blessed to operate her business in her mother’s memory.

“I really had only one person that inspired me to do anything I set my mind to…my mother,” Warner said. “Now that she is gone, I keep the words of wisdom in my mind and heart. She always told me to keep God before and above all that I do and He will see me through in good times and bad.”

CONNECT WITH KWARNER EVENTS VIA SOCIAL MEDIA: https://www.facebook.com/kwarnerevents/

Since the startup of KWarner Events, things have been mostly all good for this blessed DFW-area entrepreneur, who’s convinced her best and brightest days are well ahead of her.

“I have never seen myself as a motivator for others as I have been told many times by friends and family that I was, which surprised me tremendously,” Warner said. “I have always treated people the way I want to be treated. So I demand to be treated great since I give it wholeheartedly in return.

“If I have a word of encouragement, I am going to use it for inspiration. If I have a word of wisdom, I share it. If I got it and you need it more than me, it’s yours. That was the foundation in my home and the role model I had to look up to…momma.”

Talk about thorough introduction to a big-hearted, beloved Texas businesswoman.

Texas gospel singer Bryan Ezell advancing the kingdom, following in the massive footsteps of his parents

O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. (Psalm 96:1 KJV)

DALLAS — Diana Sheffield Richards is a dear friend to Bryan Ezell.

On Tuesday morning, she deemed it essential to enlighten her social media followers of just how much she admires Ezell, a rising fixture in this ever-so-competitive gospel music industry.

“This is so cool! I can’t wait to see my friend, Bryan Ezell, sing at the Choice Competition. And it’s for a great cause!” Richards wrote in a Facebook post, alluding to Ezell’s forthcoming appearance at the Choice Singing Competition Friday night.

PREPARE YE THE WAY

SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE — A native of a small, unincorporated community known as Tom, Oklahoma, Bryan Ezell, 41, has made his presence felt as an accomplished gospel recording artist, whose immeasurable talents are steadily advancing the kingdom mightily for such a pivotal time as now.

For Ezell, Richards’ public celebratory shout out is just a microcosm of the kind of unyielding support this gifted and talent Sherman, Texas-based singer has garnered in recent years.

A native of a small, unincorporated community known as Tom, Oklahoma, Ezell, 41, has made his presence felt as an accomplished gospel recording artist, whose immeasurable talents are steadily advancing the kingdom mightily for such a pivotal time as now.

“I have been singing all of my life, and the older I got, I started thinking more about how instead of singing to other people’s music, why not make my own songs and sing them how I want to,” Ezell told Making Headline News this week. “I had an ear for music and could pay attention to the minute details of sound quality. That challenged me to begin creating favorable sounds as it was revealed to me.”

RUNNING WITH THE VISION — A gospel music tenure that spans more than 15 years, Ezell has gone to great lengths to become more of a gospel artist who customarily wears many hats, considering he possesses the immeasurable smarts as an audio engineer and music producer.

Widely known as a PK — or a Preacher’s Kid, considering he’s the son of Pastor and Mrs. James Ezell (Annie) of Latter Rain Church of God In Christ in nearby Sherman — Bryan Ezell credits his parents as his “first inspirations,” in large part because aside from literally being raised in the church, he grew up watching his father showcase his musical talents in a group called “The Inspirational Gospel Singers.”

“My mom used to sing all the time around the house, and they both made my sisters and I sing too,” Bryan Ezell recalled. “My friend, Whalion Dewberry, and his brother, the late Tony Dewberry, inspired me to play the guitar, as well as my grandpa, Lewis Joshua. I thought they were the coolest guys around as I watched them play for the church and the gospel group my dad was in.”

A gospel music tenure that spans more than 15 years, Bryan Ezell has gone to great lengths to become more of a gospel artist, who customarily wears many hats, considering he possesses the immeasurable smarts as an audio engineer and music producer.

Talk about savoring the fruits of his labor, this for an overwhelmingly gifted PK whom, because of the divine calling on his life, is witnessing his gifts steadily make room for him.

“I get to do exactly what I love to do as an occupation while creating ways to connect with people in various ways,” said Bryan Ezell, whose musical talents accommodate mostly pre-teen to adults. “(My personal mission is) to connect with mankind on a natural level, to encourage and empower their spirit, and to show that Jesus can lead the way to a better life if we turn it around and live right.”

A product of the Ezell Legacy Group, LLC, Bryan Ezell also offers music services to individuals of all ages at his family’s Trinity One Records LLC studio.

Having begun singing a the tender age of two, amongst the notable lessons he was taught is that never should he accept anyone’s “No” when God has emphatically said “Yes.”

“Because I have been told to stick to my day job and been told “no,” Bryan Ezell explained. “And I vowed to rise above those statements, even if I had to do it myself, and that’s what I did.”

After all, if he’s heard it once, he’s likely heard it countless of times.

That is, whatever you do for Christ will last.

ADVANCING THE KINGDOM

TRAINING HIM UP — Widely known as a PK — or a Preacher’s Kid, considering he’s the son of Pastor and Mrs. James Ezell (Annie) of Latter Rain Church of God In Christ in nearby Sherman, Texas — Bryan Ezell credits his parents as his “first inspirations,” in large part because aside from literally being raised in the church, he grew up watching his father showcase his musical talents in a group called “The Inspirational Gospel Singers.”

And, if God said it, that settles it.

Let the church say Amen.

“I didn’t give up after hearing (‘no’),” Bryan Ezell said. “I press the gas and grew from it, and that’s what I tell anybody. Abide in your calling and don’t give up if you believe you can do it, because nobody can stop your progress, but you.”

Talk about savoring the fruits of his labor, this for an overwhelmingly gifted PK whom, because of the divine calling on his life, is witnessing his gifts steadily make room for him.

A DETOX GAME CHANGER

HER PRODUCTS ARE LIT — Given the constant buzz Tyresha Wright has created — courtesy of her organic detox water products — throughout Dallas/Fort Worth’s massive Metroplex, it’s safe to assume the sky’s undoubtedly is the limit for this thriving, progressive entrepreneur, who is the owner of Wright’s Organic Detox Water.

A business that has enjoyed a considerable amount of growth since its inception a little more than a year ago, Wright’s Organic Detox Water has become a fixture, in large part because of its naturally infused flavored water with organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs, all of which assist to purify, replenish, and hydrate organs in the body.

Interestingly, as Wright — who’s widely known as “Ty” — told Making Headline News this week, her organic detox water is especially resourceful, considering her products help rid the body of harmful toxins, which increases the overall nutritional and health benefits, all the while consumers enjoy refreshing, infused H20, she said.

A Provider Relations Analyst for a local  healthcare company, Wright, 39, said her fervent desire to delve off into entrepreneurship surfaced largely because of her single parent household status.

“Being a single mother of three, I endured many of financial hardships when it came to providing for my children. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur of a successful business that would bring financial stability for my family. In addition, I’ve always had a passion to help others and Wright’s Organic Detox Water has paved the way so I could do just that.” — Dallas Entrepreneur Ty Wright

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER — Amongst the reasons Wright has developed a passion for convincing consumers to buy into organic detox water is that our body is constantly working to dispel toxins and unwanted matter from its various systems, according to a report on the importance of detoxifying the body at https://www.foodmatters.com.

Much to her delight, Wright’s passion for helping others achieve their strategic health and wellness goals and objectives has not only given way to some much-needed financial stability but, to her credit, her delectable products have created a huge buzz in the state where residents have become accustomed to doing things big.

“I’m able to help others who have or had the same struggles I had when it came to consuming water,” said Wright, adding in a jokingly way that for years, she didn’t particularly like drinking water. “Knowing that I’m able to help others with their overall health is a blessing.”

Since the startup of Wright’s Organic Detox Water, the general consensus amongst consumers is that, well, perhaps Wright is steadily making a strong case that she’s the detox water industry’s best kept secret.

“The feedback I’ve received since I started my business has been nothing but positive, encouraging, thankfulness, and continued support,” Wright said. “It truly has been a blessing for me and a blessing to others.”

DID YOU KNOW…

And, if things hold up for this solid, innovative businesswoman whose best entrepreneurship days seem well ahead of her then, in all likelihood, her strategic goals and ambitions for 2019 and beyond will surely come full circle.

That is, Wright is working diligently on ensuring that her booming business attracts more of a national presence.

SIGN OF THINGS TO COME — Since the startup of Wright’s Organic Detox Water, the general consensus amongst consumers is that, well, perhaps Wright is steadily making a strong case that she’s the detox water industry’s best kept secret.

“I pray in 2019, I will be able to accommodate all 50 states,” Wright said without hesitation. “My mission is to help others with water consumption, who struggle daily. Water is something we need every day. When refuse to consume it, our health will eventually spiral downwards, leading to unbearable health issues that we all want to prevent. I know I do.”

Amongst the reasons Wright has developed a passion for convincing consumers to buy into organic detox water is that our body is constantly working to dispel toxins and unwanted matter from its various systems, according to a report on the importance of detoxifying the body at https://www.foodmatters.com.

LOOK OUT WORLD — If things hold up for this solid, innovative businesswoman whose best entrepreneurship days seem well ahead of her then, in all likelihood, her strategic goals and ambitions for 2019 and beyond will surely come full circle. That is, Wright is working diligently on ensuring that her booming business attracts more of a national presence.

“Over time, the body gets run down from unhealthy food choices, alcohol, caffeine, drugs, stress, and environmental toxins that are a part of modern day life. No matter how healthy your diet or lifestyle may be, external factors still require us to give the body a chance to recharge and dispel anything that may be holding us back from experiencing superior health and long lasting vitality.

“When our vital organs are placed under too much pressure and unable to work efficiently, this is when illness and disease can appear,” according to the https://www.foodmatters.com report. “Taking time to cleanse the body and nurture these vital organs goes a long way in prevention, and also has immediate effects — greater energy, clearer skin, better digestion, mental clarity, and so much more.”

For what it’s worth, these are just a few notable factors Wright will likely address in the coming days when she host a presentation with a division of the Dallas Independent School District (or DISD), during which she will share pertinent information about her organic detox water products.

“I love seeing the success of others, and I’m a firm believer of if you set your mind on something, the heart will soon follow,” Wright said. “Pray about it and allow God to make a way.”

For this devoted single mother of three, amongst the things of which she’s grateful is that God has surely moved on her behalf, particularly since the inception of her business.

“Nothing comes easy,” said Wright, “but if you want something (badly enough), then it’s up to you to go get it. Never allow others to say what is impossible, because with faith and God, any and all things are possible.”

Dallas/Fort Worth entrepreneur LaTambria Smith carries on her son’s memory through her thriving baking business

EDITOR’S NOTE: This story on Dallas/Fort Worth businesswoman LaTambria Smith was originally published by Making Headline News on October 11, 2017. Since the release of this story, Smith, a Dallas Skyline High graduate, has announced that she will be releasing a book that will recall her assortment of emotional testimonies, as well as host an empowerment conference that will take place at a date to be announced.

DALLAS — Back on February 8, one day before her 33rd birthday, LaTambria Smith staged to her Facebook page a rather descriptive and touching image that detailed a timeline of arguably the most challenging and tear-jerking moments of her young life.

For starters, Smith underwent surgery to have her cancer cells removed from her cervix in 2007.

DEFYING ALL ODDS

SHE’S STILL STANDING — Dallas-area businesswoman LaTambria Smith is owner of Tam’s Sweet Treats And More, a professionally run DFW-based professional baking business in which Smith specializes in preparing a variety of delectable, mouth-watering desserts.

Approximately a year later, she had a pre-eclampsia, or an emergency C-Section performed, a procedure that gave way to her child being 25 weeks prematurely and weighing just one pound, six ounces.

Two years later, doctors removed cancer cells from her cervix only to have a similar procedure performed the following year.

Then in 2012, Smith had to have another emergency C-Section performed, during which she had given birth to her baby at 23 weeks, a child whom weighed 14 ounces.

ORDER TAM’S SWEET TREATS RIGHT HERE: https://tamssweettreatsandmore.com/

THESE CAKES ARE LIT — A business Smith established approximately three years ago, Tam’s Sweet Treats And More is widely known for providing consumers with a variety of sweets, most notably cakes, teacakes, chocolate covered sweets and its famous cupcakes.

Consequently, things would become even more somber in the life of a young woman whose faith undoubtedly was on trial unlike never before.

That’s because later that year, doctors had discovered a softball-size tumor in Smith’s stomach during the C-section. Unfortunately, Smith’s baby passed away three weeks later after a month-and-a-half stay in the NICU. Consequently, she underwent successful surgery, during which she had the tumor removed.

Then in 2015, Smith was hit with more disheartening news when she got word that she had a leaking heart valve due to high blood pressure.

ALL OCCASIONS CAKES AND TREATS — You name it and chances are Smith — this professional baking guru — will hook you up regardless of the occasion.

As if those slew of obstacles weren’t enough to try Smith’s faith, she learned some time last year that the nerves behind both of her eyes were swollen twice their normal size, in large part because doctors discovered excessive fluid around her brain.

While such a heartbreaking sequence of events would bring even the strongest of persons to tears, Smith deemed it essential to end the timeline image with four words that, despite an assortment of potentially fatal occurrences, practically explains why she’s the blessed woman for whom she is widely known.

REMEMBERING AMARI

In 2013, doctors had discovered a softball-size tumor in Smith’s stomach during the C-section.  Unfortunately, Smith’s baby passed away three weeks later after a month-and-a-half stay in the NICU. Consequently, she underwent successful surgery, during which she had the tumor removed.

“AND I’M STILL STANDING,” Smith staged to an image that was accompanied by three exclamation points.

All things considered and because of what she had to survive, Smith doesn’t shy away from the notion that while she’s yet breathing, she might as well live life to the fullest — while walking in purpose through entrepreneurship in the process.

“To me this is not only a business, but a passion,” Smith told Making Headline News.

HER REASONS — All things considered and because of what she had to survive, Smith doesn’t shy away from the notion that while she’s yet breathing, she might as well live life to the fullest — while walking in purpose through entrepreneurship in the process. Pictured with Smith in a recent photo from the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis are her daughters: Amaiyah  Ross, 11 (left), and Mariah Ross, 10.

“I started in the kitchen with my grandmother as a child and learned as much as I could. I took all that knowledge and carried it over to my adult life. I first thought I would just do it for my girls, but the more I tried and accomplished, the more I pushed myself and here we are now.” — Dallas Entrepreneur LaTambria Smith

Talk about a dramatic comeback to ultimately start and manage a business amid a rash of agonizing setbacks.

“To have my girls watch and encourage me pushes me even more, because I know my passion and drive is a lesson for them as they grow,” Smith said while flashing her big, signature smile.

How befitting to put on display a well-deserved smile, this after having conquered and outlasted and defied arguably the greatest of odds time and time again.
