LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER
Takia Chase-Smith’s faith walk is such that she’s extremely passionate about enhancing relationships in the family.
This is especially rings true for mothers and daughters, the Washington DC area businesswoman-turned-author told Making Headline News this week.
“I want to build better relationships between mothers and daughters,” said Chase-Smith, explaining the single, most underlying reason she deemed it essential to produce her latest book.
The book to which Chase-Smith is alluding is Pendulum Of A Mother’s Love, her newly-assembled, spiritually-empowering written work that debut in August 2020.
For Chase-Smith, her latest published document is her fifth book to date and comes four years after she made her ceremonious authorship debut.

An anthology format book she spearheaded in March 2020, Chase-Smith and her gallery of co-authored needed approximately five months to assemble a Pendulum Of A Mother’s Love project that, in such a brief timespan since its release, is has garnered instant success.
To her credit, Chase-Smith’s Pendulum Of A Mother’s Love has already been dubbed an International Bestseller.
A book that is comprised of 15 co-authors and a total of 16 remarkably compelling, life-altering stories — each of which figures to have a massive kingdom impact — Chase-Smith doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s relishes the array of blessings God has bestowed upon her through her latest book.
“These 16 stories from different authors will help you,” Chase-Smith says without hesitation. “If you have a thriving mother-daughter relationship, this book can you provide you with additional tools. Speaking of a solid mother-daughter relationship, Chase-Smith is one of one of 90 women who contributed to the book, Finding Joy In the Journey: Healthy Ways to Navigate Grief 90 Day Devotional, an anthology that was spearheaded by her mother, fellow Washington D.C. author Vernessa Blackwell.
Finding Joy In the Journey: Healthy Ways to Navigate Grief 90 Day Devotional made its official release in August 2020.
Prior to that project, Chase-Smith wrote Your Wings Were Ready, But My Heart Was Not, which debuted in 2019.
Chase-Smith’s began with the release of Daily Dose Of Declarations For Mother, which was released in 2015.
As for Pendulum Of A Mother’s Love, her latest written document has drawn rave reviews, as expected.
“I have received great feedback,” Chase-Smith said of the outpour of support. “Everyone is thrilled to have a self-help guide to a better relationship with their mother and daughter.
“My purpose is to mentor children,” Chase-Smith continued. “This book ties to that purpose, because I realize how important healthy relationships are with the first one being with mom and then the ones to come must have a great foundation to be healthy relationships with friends, family and a spouse.”
Other books are forthcoming, Chase-Smith said.
“Yes, I have a workbook on this subject (of the latest book) so that you can get help to walk through the relationship with someone else,” she explained. “It may have started as a rough relationship but, with forgiveness, the sky is the limit.”
