And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9/ESV)
FULFILLING HER DESTINY
Dr. Susan M. Robinson relishes the immeasurable impact her brother had on her life.
“I come from humble beginnings,” Dr. Robinson, 54, a rising Atlanta-area businesswoman, told Making Headline News this week. “I was against the odds of succeeding in life, but with God’s guidance, and the inspiration of others, watching the challenges my brother had transitioning out of professional sports inspired me to help other professional athletes.”
To her distinctly unique credit, Dr. Robinson’s notable line of work as a performance psychologist and psychotherapist is starting to shape in ways she had envisioned in recent years.
DR. ROBINSON: GOD’S PURPOSE PUSHER
Fortunately for this native Mid-Southerner, she seems well on her way to reaping sustained success in her chosen profession as the mastermind by Design CC Firm LLC, something by which she doesn’t merely take lightly.
Her featured business endeavor that comes amid her wealth of experience as a social worker and mental health specialist, Dr. Robinson’s Design CC Firm is more than is a credible counseling and consultant firm for business and sports and psychotherapy, she told MHN.
More than anything, though, she acknowledged her company has become a fixture for customarily empowering individuals to routinely make positive changes in their lives, reach their strategic goals and ambitions and, most importantly, become better versions of themselves.

“Guidance is super important when it comes to making dreams and objectives in life come true,” said Dr. Robinson, explaining her personal mission for establishing her featured business venture. “Sometimes, people don’t have the support or resources to succeed in life and I would like to work with people to bridge that gap to help people fulfill their purpose in life.”
Much to her delight, she’s doing just that — with God, her Helper, steering the way.
“This venture has taken me to complete my dissertation and my Ph.D. in performance psychology,” Dr. Robinson, a native of Bolivar, Tennessee, said.
A rising business that customarily services young adults to older professionals — or those who possess a desire to excel in their performance, she emphasized — Dr. Robinson doesn’t shy away from the notion that it is due in large part to her solid support cast that she has been blessed mightily to walk fervently in the divine purpose for which she was created.
“My brother and my oldest sister inspired me to achieve my goals,” Dr. Robinson said. “My brother was a former professional basketball player and my sister paved the way to education in my family.”

She graduated from Bolivar Central High. Consequently, she earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Memphis, master’s in social work from the University of Tennessee, and she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She also acquired a Ph. D in General Psychology with an emphasis on Performance for Grand Canyon University.
Having served as a licensed clinical social worker since 2015, Dr. Robinson’s distinct professional expertise is accompanied by 20-plus years in the mental health field.
According to well-respected businesswoman, her itinerary includes an upcoming speaking engagement designed for enhancing optimal performance with an educational setting regarding work and life balance.
This appearance will take place by way of a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based nonprofit organization, one that has become a fixture for serving students who often experience various forms of trauma, she said.

“Social support is essential to helping others maintain stability in life,” Dr. Robinson told MHN. “Oftentimes in life, things seem impossible to accomplish. At times, I felt the only connection I could solely depend on is my spiritual connection with God and the people in my corner rooting for me. I have had mentors that have provided a cadence to my success in life, and I am immensely grateful to them.”
