MAKING HEADLINE NEWS MOTHER’S DAY 2018 SPECIAL REPORT
On Friday, Miranda Queen admittedly didn’t think that she was getting the most out of her day.
“And all of sudden, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said it was time to make a move,” Queen told Making Headline News during an interview in its annual Salute To Mother’s Day Tributes.
Widely known as a Godly woman of many hats, Queen surely took a huge step on Friday when she shared an assortment of tear-jerking testimonies which, much to her delight, essentially explains why she has enjoyed a considerable amount of success as an accomplished businesswoman.
A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Queen has been blessed to organize LNM Consulting, a Houston-based venture she co-owns with fellow entrepreneur Lacey Jones.
Both of whom have served in the U.S. Navy and possess a combined 16 years of experience in credit repair, Queen is the catalyst of LNM Consulting, in large part because she is thoroughly knowledgeable of the latest credit laws about which the three major credit bureaus and financial institutions don’t particularly want consumers to know.

“No, the credit bureaus are not on your side, a spokesperson for LNM Consulting said. “They get paid to report negative items on your credit report and they get paid to keep them on there. That’s how they make billions of dollars per year off of you. Many people think the bureaus are government entities, but they’re not. They are private businesses, profiting from your lack of exposure in the industry.”
All of which practically sums up why Queen is strategically devising ways to generate exposure through her latest business venture, one that is designed to prevent consumers from acquiring headaches — figuratively and literally.
Credit Queen’s faith, coupled with the fact that she once lost virtually all of her possessions as the reasons why she has become so inspired to help steer consumers in the right direction through her business.
“I lost everything I owned in the devastating flood that occurred in Baton Rouge in 2016,” Queen explained. “I got in my car and headed West on Interstate 10 and arrived to Houston, Texas with the determination to succeed.”
For the record, Queen, a 35-year-old businesswoman, was basically down to nothing.
Still, because of her devout, bend-but-don’t-break faith, she sensed all along that God was up to something.
“I did not have anything,” Queen recalled. “Not a plan, not a relative, not even a friend. Just faith.”
Out of fairness to Queen — a high school dropout who eventually obtained her GED from Job Corps at the tender age of 16 before mounting the unthinkable by recently earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix just last month — amongst the things she had garnered along with her faith was a renewed sense of enthusiasm, not to mention a newfound disposition on life.
Today, unlike never before, the Texas businesswoman who once lost it all in nearby Louisiana has come up with a remarkably compelling concept on how to help enrich and enhance the lives of others — with God, her Helper, leading the way.
“Changing people lives,” said Queen, when asked what she loves the most about her business, which services clients ranging in ages 22 to 67. “(I love) teaching people what we were not taught.”
A business venture that has given way to an array of success, in large part because her connections via social media, Queen doesn’t shy away from the notion that a part of her purpose in life is to be of service to others, much like she did while in the military.
“It is what I was created to do, and I don’t want to disappoint my Creator, which is God,” Queen said. “I have experienced things in my life so that I can help others who also experienced them, but don’t know how to make it through.”
To her credit, it’s safe to assume that Queen is a woman with thick skin, considering even after having been molested as a child, even after having spent a considerable amount of time in foster homes, even after having witnessed her father abuse my mother, even after having watched her parents become involved in drugs — “I also watched God save them and deliver them from drugs” — she steadfastly clung to unwavering faith.
All the while trying the best she could to make the best out of an assortment of unfavorable occurrences.
She did just that. Eventually.
“I joined the military at 17 and traveled the world for 13 years, got my Bachelor’s Degree, became a grandmother at 34 and, for the last two years while unemployed, I have lived my best life ever,” said Queen, who will share of her assortment of life-changing experiences in a forthcoming book that is presently in the works and is scheduled to be released later this year. “I have no regrets. I want to help women and men who have similar stories of trials and tribulations to live their best life. I want to help people who can’t change their past to have the faith and courage to write their future.”
All the while helping them to get the most out of each day.
For the rest of their lives.
