Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV)
FORT WORTH, Texas — Credit repair is rapidly evolving into one of the world’s most popular and competitive industries.
For Alexis M. Shabazz, owner and chief executive officer of a Dallas/Fort Worth-based Credit Franchise, she’s gone to great lengths to provide an intriguingly compelling twist to this ever-so-competitive arena.
“I’m what you call a life repair,” Shabazz, 50, told Making Headline News during a weekend interview. “(I love) seeing people’s lives change for the better. By better, I mean better interest rates, better jobs, the ability to build their business, and to fund the dream of their heart. I love seeing pastors or non-profit visionaries get the building off their credit worth alone.”
It is, by all accounts, due in large part to the immeasurable and notable strides Shabazz steadfastly exemplifies through her business venture that essentially have set her apart as one the credit repair industry’s best kept secrets.
Not just throughout DFW’s populous Metroplex, but nationwide.

“I am able to serve others nationwide,” said Shabazz, alluding to the establishments about which she’s been afforded the golden opportunity to put her business-related skills on display.
All things considered and much to her delight, helping enhance and impact lives undoubtedly is Shabazz’s primary mission for functioning in her element for such a time as now.
After all, helping others to reap and sustain financial freedom is one thing. Helping them to repair their lives in the process?
Now that is where things become increasingly interesting.
“(My mission is) to educate and build stronger communities that are financially fit,” Shabazz, who is certified in Financial Management through the federal government, explained. “This makes a stronger country. I’m into repairing lives and the credit is a part of the process. I am more than credit repair. I’m a life repair. My ministry is to the total person.”
Shabazz’s business is especially centered on reaching back and aiding those who once served our country.
“As a (military) veteran, I want to see every veteran transition to a great life,” said Shabazz, who once served in the U.S. Navy.
A native of New Orleans, Shabazz acknowledged that the assortment of things to which she was exposed in the ministry for the past 2 ½ decades are amongst the key factors that inspired her to delve off into credit repair.
“When God called me into ministry 25 years ago, He called me to serve people,” Shabazz said.
Fortunately for this progressive and resourceful businesswoman, she will have the golden opportunity to advance the kingdom through her venture on July 9 at the Women’s Conference in Alexandria, Virginia.

Also, Shabazz said she will be conducting what is known as the “Power of Credit” seminars in the DFW area at a time and date to be announced (“they will be posted on social media,” she said).
A graduate of New Orleans’ Joseph S. Clark Preparatory High School, Shabazz holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Columbia College and is pursuing an MBA from that same institution.
An entrepreneurship tenure that spans 10 years, Shabazz purchased her credit franchise in 2017.
And what a journey it has been in such a brief time since the inception of her newly-erected venture, considering she’s widely known for not just repairing credit.
She’s destined to repair lives in the process.
“It’s my sole purpose for being alive,” Shabazz said. “Having excellent credit will change the trajectory of a person’s life. That’s why I am taking my message to the schools and teach children early. It’s never been taught in schools and it’s time to change the course.”
Well said by resourceful and brilliant businesswoman, whose steadfastly business venture essentially has set her apart as one the credit repair industry’s best kept secrets.
