MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES BUSINESSWOMAN SHELIA HENRY
Shelia Henry can be appropriately described as a number of superlatives.
A true go-getter undoubtedly would be one of them.
“I love helping and seeing people grow and elevate to the next level,” Henry, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said when asked why is it imperative that she esteems others daily highly than herself.
For what it’s worth, Henry has surely stayed true to herself, particularly as it relates to aiding others mightily to progress to the next level.
Credit her immeasurable resume as a longtime Houston-area businesswoman as arguably the biggest reason why.
Aside from being dubbed a go-getter, Henry, is one who could be appropriately labeled a serial entrepreneur, considering the Houston native owns multiple business ventures, most notably Hazel Maid Service, her featured one that has been in operations for the past 15-plus years.

Located at 2600 South Loop West, Suite 630 in Houston, Henry’s Hazel Maid Service is widely known for providing efficient and quality cleaning at an affordable price, according to a detailed breakdown of this venture at http://www.hazelmaidservices.com/.
Not only that, Hazel Maid Services offer a wide range of residential and commercial cleaning experiences, as well as specialize in cleaning homes to meet its clients’ everyday needs.
“Finding the time to conduct a thorough house cleaning is difficult, especially with all the pressures and demands already placed on you,” said a spokesperson for Hazel Maid Service on the company’s website.
“We clean your home the way you want,” said a Hazel Maid Services spokesperson. “That means our professional maid service will provide a quality, professional staff to assist you.”
Besides her longstanding home-cleaning service, which has enjoyed a considerable amount of success since its inception, Henry is owner of She Shic Virgin Hair, a business venture that is currently in the works and is expected to go into full operations sometime in the foreseeable future.
Also, Henry is founder and director of Right Step Right Direction and Girl Chat Alumni non-profit organizations, both of which are designed in large part to cater to downtrodden females in various communities.
These organizations, by all accounts, are widely known for aiding ladies, particularly those who have endured domestic violence and other forms of hardships get back on their feet, thus helping them make a smooth and favorable transition back in the community.

“Throughout life difficulties and struggles, I am a survivor of many things,” Henry said. “I am an advocate for domestic violence, and I believe in being a streamline to help one another.”
As for Girl Chat Alumni, which customarily holds a monthly forum for open group discussions that support life struggles and difficulties, Henry said her organization is especially involved in serving the community, during which it volunteers when needed.

“We participate in outside events, traveling, outreach, and educating ladies,” Henry said.
Wait. That’s not all this notable businesswoman does.
She’s also founder and CEO of Powerful Minds Of A Business Woman, a community-based organization that caters mostly to what Henry deems “our everyday woman that has the drive, strive and ambition to be an entrepreneur.”
The primary objective for Powerful Minds Of A Business Woman, Henry emphasized, is to provide clients with concrete resources, thus provide them with pertinent information on how to start their own business and to be successful in the process.
“My personal mission is to be able to give away what God gave to me and to be a great service of society — when and wherever that may be — in a professional setting,” Henry said.
A graduate of Houston’s Ross Shaw Sterling High School, Henry attended Houston Community College, where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. Consequently, she enrolled at North Star Institute, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology Biblical Studies.
As for her featured business venture, Henry knows full well that her labor isn’t merely in vain, considering she has been the beneficiary of a notable honor for her valiant efforts.
Henry came away with consecutive City Beats News Customer Services Awards for 2017 and 2018.
“We are proud,” Henry said of having been honored for her body of work through Hazel Maids. “We take pride in being a part of helping families upkeep their homes due to a busy lifestyle and busy schedules. We take pride in what we do and we strive to make our customers happy.
“We love building relationships and we love being a part of history with families that we clean for.”
All of which explains why she can be appropriately described as a number of superlatives.
A true go-getter undoubtedly would be one of them.
