During what obviously was an informative and empowering assembly, Precious S. Brown thought it necessary to take it a step further.
“I was given the idea after completing a Tele-Summit titled, ‘IRise Women’s Empowerment Summit,'” Brown told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “On the Summit, we had 17 amazing speakers that helped the audience with life obstacles in the areas of abuse, health, healing, happiness, the inner critic, and so much more.”
To her credit, Brown would ultimately spearhead what has turned out to be an awe-inspiring collaborative project, one that came wrapped up in a life-enhancing book entitled, “I Rise, Living Beyond The Bruises,” a book that is forwarded by this accomplished Flint, Michigan-based author and empowerment extraordinaire, who is also the founder and CEO of Kilgore Publishing.
An empowering, kingdom-advancing written document that is comprised of a gallery of accomplished writers, “I Rise, Living Beyond The Bruises” is scheduled to be officially released in December.
A native Mount Morris, Michigan, Brown, 45, has surely paid her dues in this ever-so-competitive professional writing industry, considering she is responsible for having authored what is now nine books, five of which she has written single handily.
As for her latest book, she wasted little time gathering the troops and began collaborating with them to collectively assemble “I Rise, Living Beyond The Bruises.”
“I begin writing immediately after the summit,” Brown explained. “I reached out to the co-authors for the extended versions of their stories to compile them for the book.”
PRECIOUS S. BROWN’S NEW BOOK TO BE RELEASED ON 12.17.18
Interestingly and much to her delight, Brown’s latest work of art is scheduled to be complete and released on her birthday, which is December 17.
Talk about counting her array of blessings for such a remarkable time as now.
“I am super excited, because not only is it my birthday, but it is the 10th year anniversary of me living in freedom of trauma and strife – living an empowered life,” said Brown, whose authorship greatness was spearheaded through a God-orchestrated vision.

“God gave me the vision to write a book when I was a little girl, but I doubted it was possible,” Brown told MHN during an October 2017 interview.
Because of who she is and because of where God is taking her, she has gone to great lengths to diligently carry out and fulfill such a lofty vision ever since.
Yep. To God be the glory for the things He has done.
“The message is that you can rise above any obstacle manifested in your life. You must believe you can, do the work to get to the next level, and greater will manifest. The authors went to great lengths to encourage, inspire, and motivate the readers to take their power back and grab life by the horns through faith.” — Precious S. Brown
And, as a result, Brown and Co. have already become the beneficiaries of some favorable feedback — this for a book that is still weeks away from its much-anticipated release.
“So far, as we continue to drop seeds of the release people are anticipating another great read,” Brown said. “My audience is used to the quality material I deliver, and they are expecting nothing less than to be taken on a journey ending in empowerment.”
More than anything, though, Brown doesn’t shy away from the notion that her forthcoming book is just another memory in the divine purpose for which God has created her.
As well as for the other contributors to this book.
“This book adds great value to the purpose in which I was created,” Brown said. “I know my life has been designed to empower others who feel they are undeserving or unworthy. My assignment is to show the less fortunate that no matter the hand they were dealt, they too still have purpose.
“You see, had I allowed the abuses (physical, mental, emotional, drug and alcohol) to define who I am and stop me from seeing that God could use me too, the lives that are divinely connected to me would never be changed,” Brown continued. “That is the reason I continue to move forward in purpose on purpose.”
With God, her Helper, leading the way.
Yep. To God be the glory for the things He has done.
