Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.(Luke 18:1 NIV)
‘CALL HIM UP’
DESTINY STEPS — A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Shontel Jackson is the mastermind behind the awe-inspiring book entitled, “Purposed Prayers: Praying On Purpose With A Purpose,” a spiritually-renewal and life-enhancing project that is scheduled to be released in mid-June, the beloved prophetess announced to her social media audience.
Shontel Jackson can be appropriately described as a prayer warrior.
On purpose.
Perhaps she could explain it better.
“I hold a weekly Facebook Live (session during which) that I pray the prayers in the book on the live,” Jackson, a longtime Detroit-area minister, told Making Headline News this week. “I have seen so many people push in through prayer. People have been testifying that they have received unexpected finances showing up in their bank accounts, new cars, family restoration, and also a lady who attempted suicide and survived.”
All things considered, it is due in large part to Jackson’s quest to advance the kingdom mightily through fervent prayers that has greatly fueled her desire to compose a book that centers largely on the importance as to why God commands us to establish an open line of communication with Him.
KINGDOM BLESSINGS — Now with “Purposed Prayers: Praying On Purpose With A Purpose” set to make its ceremoniously release, Jackson has announced that other written works are on the horizon.

A book she needed somewhere in the neighborhood of four years to assembled — she began writing it in the summer of 2015 and put the wraps on it approximately two months ago — Jackson elected to write her first book during what she described as “a very dark time” in her life, a sequence that was mired by a dreaded failed relationship, coupled with a the sudden demise of a loved one.
Fortunately for Jackson, whose regular Facebook live prayer footages have become a fixture amongst her gallery of social media followers, prayer essentially is what has emerged as the pivotal factor that has increased her faith considerably, thus greatly enabled her to press and navigate her way through arguably the darkest season of her life.
“I went through a divorce and my grandmother, who raised me, passed away,” said Jackson, explaining the events surrounding her God-mandated assignment to write her book. “My world was turned upside down. At this time, I was thrust into a lifestyle of prayer.”

On purpose.
“This book teaches us to pray with strategy and purpose,” said Jackson, when asked what is the divine message she’s sending to her reading audience through her book. “It’s also a reminder to pray the word and (to know) that there is a solution to the problem in the Word of God. Each prayer targets life’s circumstances that we deal with daily, but as we know prayer changes things.”
By and large and much to her delight, Jackson doesn’t shy away from the notion that her soon-to-be-released book aligns with the purpose — and calling — for which God has created her.
“Prayer is my purpose and I believe this book — even though it was birthed out of a very painful time in my life — wasn’t about me,” said Jackson, who will promote her book during the upcoming Cruising The Write Way Authors Cruise from November 22 to 25. “It is about the ones that come after me, who will one day need this book to teach them on how to pray and push through no matter what.”

Just like that lady, whom Jackson recalls had attempted suicide only to survive.
Talk about a massive move of God — on purpose.
“This same lady that God didn’t allow the enemy to take out prematurely had turned around and received an unexpected financial miracle,” Jackson explained. “So many others and to many to name (she said with a smile. I know there’s so much more to come.”

SEASON OF THE REBIRTH
By and large and much to her delight, Jackson doesn’t shy away from the notion that her soon-to-be-released book aligns with the purpose — and calling — for which God has created her.
“I plan to write at least two more books within the next year,” said Jackson, alluding to project — “You Have Such A Pretty Face: Overcoming The Spirit of Rejection” and “Ishamael Was Blessed Too” —
— that will depict her life, during which she dealt with sexual and emotional abuse and rejection, as well as blended families, respectively.
“I am enjoying being an author.”
On purpose.
