MAKING MAJOR STRIDES
DALLAS — When Raevonne Walker and her son packed up and relocated from Minnesota to Texas some 15 years ago, what they had ultimately discovered was that such a move was a prodigious blessing in disguise.
Prior to their bolting the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area, Walker was informed by doctors that her son, Jahyier, was diagnosed with a rare heart defect, thus suggesting that they relocate to the southern region of the country, considering her son had been hampered by what she described as “some underlying issues.”
Given the severe circumstances surrounding her son’s health, not only was the move essential in many aspects but, much to the delight of Walker, it turned out to be a precursor, of sorts, to her having connected with the divine purpose for which she was created.
An accomplished businesswoman who boasts a remarkably solid and immeasurable entrepreneurship tenure, Walker is co-owner of Cultured Realty, a Houston-based real estate company she runs along with fellow business partner Janelle Malone.
A rising establishment that is located at 2611 Cypress Creek Parkway, Suite A101 in Houston and is less than two months removed from having gone into full operations, one would hard-pressed to believe this company is in its infancy stages, considering it’s already enjoying a considerable amount of growth.

During a phone interview with Making Headline News this week, Walker said Cultured Realty has compiled a team of 41 agents since its inception and that she’s hopeful such rapid growth continues.
A company that was founded on February 8, 2020, Walker — who was fixture for years for Keller Williams Realty — emphasized, among other things, that Cultured Realty is aiming to acquire 150 agents by the time the company reaches its six-month anniversary.
“It was a different situation, because with me coming from Keller Williams, I pretty much knew what I wanted to do,” Walker told MHN. (I told my business partner) we have all of what we need to start a company.”
As Walker recalls, her rise to professional real estate success was spearheaded in large part by her son’s unlikely diagnosis, coupled with a whole lot of faith.
“It was amazing,” Walker said of her ceremonious exit from Minnesota to the Lone Star State, a development that had ultimately given way to considerable progress in her son’s health. “He started playing football. He scored the first touchdown for his new high school. He was ranked (nationally) in gymnastics.”
Aside from Jahyier having evolved and flourished as a multi-sport athlete, Walker, meanwhile, began moving ever so closely to her purpose as gifted real estate professional, a God-orchestrated discovery she doesn’t merely take lightly.
“If we wouldn’t have moved, I wouldn’t have started this company,” Walker said. “I wouldn’t have gotten married. I wouldn’t have had two more children. (This move) changed my life completely.”
One of Houston’s finest real estate ventures that boasts a diverse cast of leaders who are committed to building business through strong alliances, Cultured Realty has reaped sustained success, in large part because it thrives off of empowering agents to believe the unbelievable, think the unthinkable, and achieve the unachievable.
How else to explain why its mission is centered largely on Agents building agents with systems that work?
As for the rapid growth within a company whose best and brightest days are seemingly well ahead of it, Walker is confident such a trend is a continuous sign of things to come.
RAISING THE BAR
“To me, it’s not mind-boggling,” said Walker, alluding to the number of agents her company has acquired in such a brief time frame. “The growth doesn’t make that big of a deal to me. The growth in the individual is what’s more important.”
All things considered, part of helping agents to diligently discover a better version of themselves falls under the Business Coaching umbrella of Cultured Realty.
Through this entity, in fact, Walker and Malone customarily shepherd agents through a wide range of empowerment sessions, many of which are geared toward helping them devise strategic plans to create and achieve specific goals and ambitions, coupled with what Walker refers to as some much-needed “accountability.”
“I’m always trying to be better than myself,” said Walker, a progressive, thriving businesswoman whose entrepreneurship reputation is such that she’s thoroughly committed to ensuring that like-minded professionals follow suit.
What a massive difference a relocation has made.
