Alandrus P. Spencer doesn’t shy away from the notion that during this unprecedented global pandemic, he oversees the day-to-day operations of what he appropriately labels an essential business.
Because after all, he’d be the first to acknowledge that only what he does for Christ will last.
“I consider my business essential, because first, I am submitted to the work of God,” Dr. Spencer told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “Next, people all over the world and especially in the mist of this pandemic need coaching, need encouragement, need to be inspired, need to be motivated, need genuine and transparent testimonies, so that is the call I have answered. Love thy neighbor as yourself. What a wonderful challenge and command.”
For Dr. Spencer, it is due in large part to his array of contributions as the co-CEO of A and V Spencer Enterprise LLC that has afforded him the golden opportunity to become an integral asset as it pertains to advancing the kingdom.

The Founder and Senior Pastor of Touching Lives Ministry, Inc. in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Dr. Spencer also serves as Vice President of Life Coach School of Arkansas and currently assumes the role as co-CEO of the Motivated Author Spotlight Showcase.
An accomplished self-published author and Life Coach, amongst Dr. Spencer’s strategic objective through his notable endeavors are centered largely on helping aspiring authors to become self-published writers, as well as aiding them with a variety of effective marketing strategies and tools.
A native of Chicago, Dr. Spencer has written three books to date, including An Aligned Assignment: A Game Plan For The Marketplace And Ministry, his latest written work that made its debut in October 2019.
Interestingly, Dr. Spencer is the mastermind behind Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment and Encouraging Moment: The Turbulence Was Necessary, a pair of inspiring and informative projects that are separated by 15 months.
He also co-authored a children’s book — Everyone is Unique: Stop The Bullying — with his wife, Lady Veronica Spencer last year.
“My focus is to inspire, to motivate, to encounter and to hold one accountable to their dreams and goals,” Dr. Spencer said. “My personal mission is to offer all that I am and all that I know in a practical and transparent way in hopes that it will first bring people to Christ. Secondly, I hope that I am able to inspire, encourage and motivate someone to become the best them possible while receiving this same hope in return.”
As Dr. Spencer recalls, his rise to empowerment success through his assortment of endeavors emerged by way of a familiar, yet thought-provoking passage that was appropriately uttered by Christ.
“I found really inspiration when I first heard this and I quote: ‘Drink thus water and you will never thirst again” said Dr. Spencer, referring to Jesus’ life-altering words that are housed in John 4:14. “Oops, I am doing it again. I love to encourage by and through faith.”
Much to his delight, Dr. Spencer has enhanced his entrepreneurship repertoire — which has amassed a national presence — now that he’s been blessed with what is known as the Faith Talk Show, which airs on the Awakening Prophetic Network USA and premieres June 23.
According to Spencer, “This show (allows me to) inspire and uplift as much as I want and remind people that truly our gifts will make room for us,” he said. “I believe my gift is unique to (people of) all ages. I can coach almost any age. I am a very practical guy who can use the simple things in life to help people…One example as a coach that inspires me is this: Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, so you do unto me (alluding to Matthew 25:31-46).”
All things considered, Dr. Spencer said he for overwhelmingly grateful to his wife’s unyielding support during what has been — and still is — a memorable journey.
“My wife and I will have been married for almost 15 years as September 25, and the one place I have tried every day to practice this gift I have been employed with and that has been deemed essential is my beautiful wife and I try to impart to my family encourage, inspiration, hope and faith as much as possible,” Dr. Spencer said. “The reality of this essential gift is it’s been planted in the earth for such a time as this, and I love being one of the branches that create and inspire.
“People are hurting all over the world, so if you also have been given an amazing gift, now is your time to rise up and do what you do.”
Because after all, only what we do for Christ will last.
