She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard; She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. (Proverbs 31:16-17 NIV)
TERRITORY ENLARGED
FORT WORTH, Texas — Delissia Lockett could be appropriately described as a woman of many hats.
Or, perhaps, a serial entrepreneur, to put it more precisely.
Consider, for instance, the assortment of endeavors with which Lockett is armed as the CEO of Divine Business Services LLC, her Fort Worth, Texas-based company that has enjoyed a considerable amount of success since its inception.
“I enjoy educating business owners about their taxes for their business,” Lockett, 39, said during an interview this week with Making Headline News. “The one thing I love about owning my own business is the freedom of owning my own time.”

For what it’s worth, Lockett’s “own time,” in many aspects, in centered largely on her signature smile, coupled with promoting and introducing to the masses her flourishing business, as well as her immeasurable and top-notch customer service, these essential entrepreneurial attributes that have given way to sustained success for this longtime Texas businesswoman.
A native of Arlington, Texas, Lockett’s Divine Business Services LLC is widely known for servicing clients through an array of entities, most notably mobile notary, signing agent, quarterly taxes, credit repair, and life insurance, among others.
Located at 5009 Brentwoodstair, Suite 104 in Fort Worth, Divine Business Services LLC is powered by the intriguing catchphrase, “Divine Business Services is always in the MOVE.” Its strategic mission is geared primarily on offering unyielding support to its clients, many of whom customarily seek help with personal or professional business needs.
“I now pursue my dream of owning my own time,” Lockett told Making Headline News during a March 2019 interview. “And I’m a full-time businesswoman with experience, knowledge…a down-to-earth businesswoman with a big personality.”
All of which has given way to Lockett’s venture emerging as a constant game-changer, especially with the dreaded tax deadline fast approaching (July 15).
“My personal mission is to be a difference maker in the tax community and treat people with respect,” Lockett said of a Divine Business Services LLC company that routinely accommodates clients ranging mostly on ages 18 to 60.
For Lockett, her entrepreneurship tenure spans more than three decades — she initially adopted the business concept in junior high school, she recalls — meaning it’s safe to assume she had, for some time, been empowered to go into business for herself.
Lockett’s mother for years owned a licensed in-home daycare venture, which greatly afforded her the golden opportunity to gain some hands-on experience as a young, aspiring businesswoman.
“I handled her clients, paid employees, collected money from parents, and had a curriculum for the children,” Lockett told MHN in March 2019.
As it turned out, such a compelling work ethic continued when Lockett advanced to high school.
Much to her delight, she’s since made an array of immeasurable strides as resourceful business.
A serial entrepreneur, to put it more precisely.
A 2000 graduate of Arlington’s Martin High School, Lockett enrolled at Tarantino County Community College, where she studied Business and Theatre Arts. Having earned the necessary credentials to become certified in Human Resources, Lockett garnered those achievements at Dallas’ Mountain View College.
Her current itinerary includes attending the forthcoming IRS Conference in New Orleans and hosting a Tax Summer School on July 15 that’s powered by Lockett’s Nation.
Interestingly, Lockett hosts a Facebook Live segment every Tuesday entitled, “Businesswoman Chronicles,” an endeavor that has only enhanced her entrepreneurial track record.
To her credit, Lockett has been an ambassador throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth community through a variety of programs and organizational participation, most notably Stomp Wars, the Business Awards Ceremony, She Happy Hair, as well as the annual Potter’s House Dinner.
“I am purposes to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth,” said Lockett, a thriving, progressive businesswoman.
