As it pertains to advancing the kingdom, Evangelist Marissa N. Martin has been extremely resourceful in a year that undoubtedly has brought about an array of global obstacles.
For starters, Martin is approximately one month removed from having witnessed her business venture come full circle.
Martin’s Prosperity Publishing Portal went into full operations on September 8 which, ironically, occurred on her 26th birthday.
“It is already flourishing,” Martin told Making Headline News during a weekend interview.
Interestingly, Martin’s newly-erected business was birthed amid her self-publishing of three book, each of which she had written in a span of two years.

Generally, Prosperity Publishing Portal is a Christian-based business that offers ISBN barcode, professional copyright services, manuscript editing and formatting, cover illustration, social media graphics and promotion, and Amazon/Kindle availability, among other entities.
Also, other services through Martin’s credible venture include websites, resumes, banners, and business cards, etc.
A graduate of the historic Memphis Central High School, Martin’s business endeavor comes in the wake of her having sought and consulted God for a divine sense of direction.
“The competitive drive in life propelled me into my business venture, because when the Lord began speaking books into me, I reached out to many other local authors, who refused to help me or share their resources with me. So, after figuring things out on my own and mastering it after producing my own books three times in a row, I developed a desire to become the conduit and resource for other aspiring authors like me.”

So far, so good for Martin, whose entrepreneurial repertoire also includes that of a resourceful preacher, mentor, and motivational speaker.
“For me, the top won’t be lonely because I’m taking others to the top with me by turning their ‘book dreams’ into a reality,” Martin said. “That’s what I call true prosperity. What I enjoy most about this business is taking the journey with my clients and experiencing the feelings of joy and accomplishment that they feel when we’ve finished publishing. It is such a blessing to be a blessing.”
A business venture that accommodates people of all ages and groups, Martin’s awe-inspiring mission is centered largely on:
- Reaching to publish for authors across the country.
- Taking the pressure out of publishing and to turning clients’ “book dreams” into a reality and,
- Being a self-driven self-motivated and, businesswoman.
Also, Martin announced that her personal book signing event will take place in the foreseeable future at a time and date to be announced.
As Martin explained, the startup of Prosperity Publishing Portal had been in the making for the past two years.
A native Memphian, Martin is the mastermind behind the spiritually empowering books: Day By Day: Deliverance Through Devotion, The Shaping, and Prophetic Flow: A Pocketbook Poetry Pamphlet. Each of these books fall under the umbrella of Marissa Martin Ministries.
“It is imperative that I esteem and inspire others daily because by pushing people into their purpose, it ultimately lets them know that they truly can do all things through Christ,” Martin said.
