Atlanta entrepreneur Shanterria “Niki” Battle savoring sustained success as CEO of B’s Pristine Clean

SO FRESH, SO CLEAN
At 10:58 EST on October 6, Shanterria Battle took to her Facebook page, where she erected a rather empowering and awe-inspiring post.
Said Battle before her gallery of social media followers:
“Some are fighting to get free. While I’m fighting to STAY FREE. There is no manual to life, but let your heart be your guide. This picture speaks volumes!!! Only if y’all knew the dark days and long nights I’ve had making this transition. Fearing the unknown was real, but I’m wise enough to know fear and faith is like oil and water. There are things I’m still figuring out along the way. I’ve wanted to quit, been scammed out of $3,500 and some, plus lost friends. However, God has other plans for me.
For Battle — widely known as “Niki” — the plans God strategically had reserved on her behalf have changed the overall landscape of her life.
Raised by her great grandmother, Maude Battle, in Edison, Georgia — a Calhoun County establishment that is comprised of roughly 1,531 residents, according to the latest U. S. census — Battle has enjoyed a considerable amount of success in recent years as a rising Atlanta-area entrepreneur.

An Army reservist who was deployed to Kuwait from 2017-2018, Battle, 33, is owner and CEO of B’s Pristine Clean, a credible cleaning business.
A licensed, insured, and bonded endeavor she established in February 2019, Battle’s featured venture customarily offers commercial, residential cleaning, and carpet cleaning, among other notable services.
“I started my business because I have the desire to be a mom, more attentive, and involved more in my daughters’ lives (Harmony and Melanie),” Battle told Making Headline News during a recent interview.
Having amassed a number of college credits before deeming it necessary to withdraw from school to help take care of her “granny,” when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Battle was destined to delve off into the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship.
It wasn’t easy in any way, shape, or form for this young, vibrant, single Georgia mother of two. Still, amongst the things about which fueled her fervent desire to achieve entrepreneurial success was the pivotal life lessons her granny instilled in her.
Much to her delight, Battle has been as good as advertised in her business endeavor and as an Army reservist, considering she’s been afforded the golden opportunity to serve her country in New York in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
“Long story short, I just want to be a positive role model and mom for my daughters,” said Battle, explaining the mission as an accomplished entrepreneur.
As Battle acknowledged, her immeasurable style of cleaning, by all accounts, has become a unique way of life, of sorts.
“Believe it or not, cleaning is like therapy for me,” Battle said. “It stops my mind from going, and I’m able to think with clarity. What I like most about my business is helping people. I get a joy out of leaving homes fresh and clean. Everyone isn’t able to clean for themselves, especially my older clients.”
A business that routinely services clients ranging mostly in ages 35-to-60, Battle was inspired by a host of friends — “many of my friends are entrepreneurs,” she said — to pursue entrepreneurship, particularly when she had to temporarily put her higher education ambitions on hold.
MAKING DREAMS A REALITY
So far, so good for this progressive businesswoman, whose best and brightest entrepreneurship days well ahead of her.
“My personal mission is to break the cruse and create a foundation for generational wealth,” Battle said. “I know it’s going to be a slow crawl. However, my vision is as big as Molly Maids (an international franchise with over 400 individual franchisees throughout the world).
“I inspire people to chase their dreams,” Battle continued. “No dream is too big. We have to reprogram ourselves from the traditional 9-to-5 (job) to be independent and learn how to hustle for self the way we slave to make someone else rich. My story is just beginning, I understand it’s going to be a slow crawl.”
A crawl that is certainly worth taking.
