Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2 KJV)
PRESENCE OF ROYALTY
Apostle Murthlene A. Sampson’s kingdom-based track record is such that she steadfastly exemplifies having a heart for people.
Consider, for instance, Apostle Sampson’s strategic, God-mandated assignment as the beloved Senior Pastor of Healing Sanctuary.
A Brooklyn, New York-based ministry “Where you can expect to see the glory of God unveil,” Apostle Sampson’s valiant and well-publicized contributions to the Body of Christ are centered largely on — but aren’t limited to — customarily encouraging those who desire to fulfill or pursue their ministry, deliverance, restoration, and salvation, she told Making Headline News this week.

In essence, Healing Sanctuary has become a globally-acclaimed fixture for promoting faith-based education, as well as continues to equipping others for ministry, particularly by focusing to evangelize both locally and internationally, accompanied by what Apostle Sampson describes as the ongoing purpose for a spiritual increase.

Located at 17 Saratoga Avenue in Brooklyn, Healing Sanctuary is widely regarded as a progressive, thriving, Christ-centered ministry that was appropriately founded on Biblical principles.
“We believe the Bible, the scripture — both Old and New Testaments — are the inspired word of God,” said a spokesperson for Healing Sanctuary in a detailed introduction of the ministry on the church’s Facebook page. “Therefore, we strive to edify, teach, and preach the gospel to the church-ed and un-churched about the benefits of staying true to Christ Jesus and the principles of His kingdom.”
To her credit, Apostle Sampson and her ministerial team have become avid servants of God, in large part because their commitment is centered on working collectively ensure Greater Increase Ministries remains what they appropriately deem “a place of refreshing.”
Interestingly enough, this well-established ministry travels as a Christ-centered team, one that has flourished mightily as it pertains to diligently proclaiming the gospel — both locally and internationally — as well as helping to bring salvation, deliverance, and healing to the Body of Christ.
In other words, the ministry for which Apostle Sampson has been called to serve is focused solely on strengthening the people in its community and, as she emphasized, “anybody we come in contact with.”
Amongst the reasons, Apostle Sampson affirms, is that “We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, according to the word of God.”
A ministry designed to cater to individuals and groups of all ages, Healing Sanctuary — whose oldest member is in her 80’s — has garnered a sustained global presence since its inception, largely because Apostle Sampson often ministers outside of the states, particularly in such countries the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, West Indies, Guyana (in South America), Liberia (Africa), Kenya (Africa), Haiti, Portugal, Brazil, and India, among other nations.
Suitably described as a vessel in this modern-day church era, Apostle Sampson doesn’t take lightly the notion that she has been strategically selected, equipped, appointed, and mandated by God to help bring about complete restoration and healing to the Body of Jesus Christ, most notably by way of spreading the Gospel.
A native of Brooklyn, Apostle Sampson holds an Associate of Arts Degree, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She also acquired a Master’s Degree in Professional Studies and Urban Ministries, and Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling.
SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE
For what it’s worth, Apostle Sampson’s rise to Pastoral success comes amid humble beginnings, considering she has faced — and, much to her delight, defied — a rash of odds and obstacles with God, her Helper, steering the way.
“Many times, I was told that I would never make it and couldnʼt (succeed in ministry) because I am a woman,” Apostle Sampson recalls. “This propelled me to push forward to the call that God has placed upon my life.”
Having been actively involved in ministry for more than two decades, Apostle Sampson’s Pastoral tenure spans 12 years.
“(I’ve been called to) inspire others to see the potential and greatness that are within them,” Apostle Sampson said. “(I’ve also been called to) take God’s people to that place where they know that they can obtain anything once they stay in the system of God.”
All the while steadfastly having a heart for people in the process.
Just as Almighty God had envisioned when He set her aside for His use some two-plus decades ago.
