She considers a field and buys it; with the fruit of her hands, she plants a vineyard. (Proverbs 31:16 ESV)
HEART OF GOLD
FORT WORTH, Texas — For a majority of the day on Monday, first-time author Desiray Felton-Davis had quickly become the beneficiary of an array of congratulatory shout outs, courtesy of her solid support system.
It couldn’t have come at a better time for this young, vibrant, gifted, Christian-based writer, whose newly-released book figures to be as good as advertised, given the outpour of well-wishes that blanketed her Facebook timeline.
A native of Chicago, who resides with her family in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Felton-Davis, 30, is the mastermind the book, From Rags To Riches, her awe-inspiring written work that made its ceremonious debut in February 2021.
A book that is comprised of 75 pages in length, Felton-Davis — who’s suitably known under the authorship name, Dezarita Dashai — has already begun to generate a number of five-star ratings since the release of her book.
Said Dezarita Dashai — who grasped the vision six years ago to compose her book — in a detailed synopsis of From Rags To Riches at Amazon.com:

We want to love because it feels good, no alternative motives! We just want to live life to its fullest! Always reaping all that we deserve and desire and constantly eating the fruits of our labor.
“Well, I, Dezarita Dashai, is that person who knows that God Himself promised my son and me a better life. Therefore, why should I settle for less? LIFE! A gift from God! It can’t possibly be this and only this! I am 24 years old, and my son is four. As of today, we are leaving everything in the wind as we begin our journey to our FRESH START!”

Generally, this is done strategically through the organization’s variety of programs. In essence, L.O.V.E 4 Unaccompanied Youth’s Virtuous Educational Workshops, Felton-Davis explained, are designed specifically to provide children with all the essential tools they need to become what she appropriately describes as “a stronger individual.”
“My ultimate goal for my nonprofit is to provide our youth with a place to call home with my love group home as well as a love day center for youth to gain all resources they lack,” Felton-Davis said.
Some of her organization’s notable programs include, but aren’t limited to:
- Mentorship
- Community Cleanup and Engagement
- Tutoring
- Unique Educational Field Trips and,
- Confidence Building
Also owner and teacher of MZ Dezy House of Love Child Care, Felton-Davis’ organization customarily services children ranging in ages 10-to-17 and six weeks to 12 years of age for her child care, she told Making Headline News this week.
For what it’s worth, Felton-Davis’ rising organization has enjoyed sustained success since its inception, something by which she doesn’t merely take lightly.
“God spoke and I said, ‘Yes Sir,’” Felton-Davis, who was raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, said, recalling the memorable, life-altering developments that ultimately led to the startup of her nonprofit organization. “Accomplishing our goals would be next to impossible without the support of our generous supporters.
ROUND OF APPLAUSE
“We partner with very well-qualified volunteers to execute our mission, enabling the majority of all proceeds raised to go directly to our programs,” continued Felton-Davis, adding that board members are needed to help oversee the day-to-day operations of her organization. “We also keep our overhead low by employing remote planning and short-term event space.”
According to organizers for Felton-Davis’ L.O.V.E 4 Unaccompanied, all donations are tax deductible and help underprivileged children experience a better life through her featured endeavor’s unique mentoring.
