The King will reply, “Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.” (Matthew 25:40 NIV)

Nickelberry’s VeMaShe™ Enterprise LLC is an Atlanta-based media venture that was established in 2005.
As for the Servant Awards, Nickelberry emphasized, among other things, that VeMaShe™ Enterprise is steadfastly exemplifying its strategic mission, which is centered on honoring “some great community servant leaders,” many of which attendees “may or may not know.”
Interestingly enough, Nickelberry’s VeMaShe™ Enterprise includes under its umbrella, Ordinary People Magazine which, according to this accomplished Mid-South businesswoman, is synonymous to her annual featured event.
SAVE THE DATE
“(The Servant Awards) are about ordinary people who are involved in their communities, nonprofit organizations, and entrepreneurship,” Nickelberry told Making Headline News this week, adding that her company has installed what is known as Blue Skies & Green Grass Publishing, a relatively new entity that has already garnered a few clients, she said.
Besides paying homage to a number of dignitaries, nonprofit organizations, and corporations, the Servant Awards will offer a variety of vendors and a souvenir booklet, organizers for this event announced on various message boards and social media platforms.
Once again, Servant Awards officials will announce what is suitably known as The Sylvester Bowens Lifetime Achievement Award, an accolade named in honor of Nickelberry’s father, the late Sylvester Bowens. Reverend Bartholomew Orr, Senior Pastor of the historic Brown Missionary Baptist Church in Southaven, Mississippi, was the 2019 recipient of The Sylvester Bowens Lifetime Achievement Award.
Having fortified a servant’s heart in his own right, Bowens is widely regarded for his notable contributions in helping established — and having served at — Eureka Missionary Baptist Church (formerly Eureka Truevine Missionary Baptist Church).
Bowens passed away in 1995.
In referencing Matthew 22:37-39, Nickelberry — a product of Jacksonville Seminary — said she appreciative of the notion that Servant Awards has become a Mid-South fixture, particularly with regards to helping advance the kingdom, a trend that is closely associated with the strategic mission for VeMaShe™ Enterprise.
“I believe that by seeing others serving within their communities, it could lead to more community involvement, as well as bring about neighbors getting to know each other a little better,” Nickelberry said. “We are here to serve. Get to know us.”
Not to mention save the date.
