A person’s steps are established by the Lord, and He takes pleasure in his way. (Psalm 37:23/Christian Standard Bible)
PICTURE ME ROLLIN’
Randall and Lekisha Fulwood witnessed their featured business venture come full circle earlier this year.
Much to their delight, things have been as good as advertised.
“The best aspect of the business is the ability to interact with people in our community on their happiest days and provide them with lasting memories of the most important events of their lives,” Lekisha Fulwood told Making Headline News this week. “We also enjoy the flexibility of managing our own schedules, achieving a better work-life balance, and being able to spend more time with each other and our families.”
A close-knit, Christian-based family in which Randall Fulwood is a former first responder and 911 dispatcher for the City of Columbia and Lekisha Randall is a retired Air Force veteran, this beloved couple earlier this year deemed it necessary to step out on faith to collectively establish Picture This 360 Photos, their rising Columbia, South Carolina-based photo booth rental company that offers what they describe as the “hottest new equipment” in the entertainment industry.
MORE ABOUT THE FULWOODS: https://www.picturethis360photos.com/
Picture This 360 Photos is one of the DBAs (Doing Business As) of Fulwood Enterprises, LLC and has been rated the No. 1 business of its kind in the Columbia area by Google and Yelp.
“You might have heard of it, but you are probably wondering: What exactly is a 360-photo booth?” said a spokesperson for the Fulwoods’ business endeavor in detailed synopsis of their company on its website. “The 360-photo booth is one of the hottest entertainment and event experiences currently on the market. Commonly called a 360-photo booth, it is actually a video device that produces professional-quality videos with special effects and music, while a revolving video camera spins 360 degrees around the platform to capture slow-motion videos. “(Neither of the guests nor the platform itself actually spins). It is one of the most creative ways to capture video content, and the perfect way to add excitement to your event!”

Added Randall Fulwood, providing a more comprehensive scope of his company: “The photo booths of yesteryear have been replaced with hot, new high-tech devices. The 360 Photo Booth allows guests to star in their own music video, complete with special effects, slow motion, music, and video overlay frame specifically customized for the event.”
And then there’s the popular iPad Selfie Station, an added and more enhanced feature that provides digital photos, boomerangs, animated gifs, and videos. All products, the Fulwoods said, are available for immediate download using a smartphone and are compatible with all social media platforms.
‘CHECK US OUT’
A progressive, thriving business that officially went into operations in February, Picture This 360 Photos customarily service small children to the elderly — especially the elderly, Lekisha Fulwood said, in large part because “they have enjoyed using our equipment, especially the 360 Photo Booth. Our most popular demographic ranges from 20-to-50.” The 360 Photo Booth was popularized by celebrities, and who doesn’t want to feel like a celebrity?”
A 1990 graduate of Sumter (South Carolina) High School, Randall Fulwood acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sumter’s Morris College.
Lekisha Fulwood, meanwhile, is a 1991 graduate of Sumter High and holds an Associate Degree from Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from American Intercontinental University, and an Master of Business from Trident University.
Since the ceremonious inception of their flourishing business, the Fulwoods have been afforded the golden opportunity to take their photo booth throughout various establishments in South Carolina, as well as to North Carolina and Georgia.
“Our personal mission is to create a legacy and generational wealth for our children, and to introduce them to entrepreneurship as a career option,” Randall Fulwood said. “We are inspired by our four children in everything that we do and every decision that we make.”
Interestingly enough, the Fulwoods were asked to sponsor the Fifth Annual Midland’s Women’s Day, which took place on July 23. This event focused specifically on educating, empowering, and nurturing women, and attracted over 2,600 attendees.
Their itinerary also includes an appearance at the upcoming Satcher-Sullivan Living Legends Gala in Atlanta. Powered by the Thomas J. Blocker Society, this gala will be comprised of physicians, scientists, and health professionals who are alumni of the historic Morehouse College.
Dr. David Satcher is a former Assistant Secretary of Health and the 16th Surgeon General of the United States. Dr. Louis Sullivan, meanwhile, is the former Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services and Founding Dean of Morehouse School of Medicine.
WE ARE FAMILY
Then in early August, the Fulwoods’ Picture This 360 Photos will be servicing the Experience Black Excellence event during the ceremonious launch of Downtown Winston.
“We are also looking forward to servicing the Pink In The City event in October in our hometown of Sumter, supporting the book release of our school mate and breast cancer metavivor Tamekia Hunter Ross,” Lekisha Fulwood said. “Breast cancer has affected our close loved ones, including Randall’s grandmother and my mother. We are honored to be a part of all of these prestigious events, but it’s truly an honor to be invited to every wedding, birthday or graduation party, and every other celebration that we have already serviced or have coming up. We don’t take it lightly when people give us a glimpse into their personal lives.”
The Fulwoods initially purchased a 360 Photo Booth in December 2019 with plans to have an official launch in March 2020, the couple told MHN.
“By the time we felt prepared and ready to launch in March of 2020,” said LeKisha Fulwood, “the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and we placed our plans on hold.”
Regardless, even a temporary halt in the strategic startup of their featured business endeavor wasn’t enough to diminish the lofty entrepreneurial ambitions for the Fulwoods whom, given the immediate impact they’ve had on the 360 Photo Booth industry in such a brief timeframe, figure to be around for years — err, generations — to come.
ON CENTER STAGE
“It is important to us to always show others, especially our children, the value of hard work, the importance of perseverance, pursuing your passions, and never giving up,” Lekisha Fulwood said. “The failure isn’t in not succeeding, it’s in never trying. Always seek God first and He will order your steps.”
Just as He’s doing for them.
Every. Single. Day.
