‘AND THEN SHE BOUNCED BACK’ MEDIA COVERAGE: Brooklyn, New York native Cherelyn Stewart-Tabiri’s authorship debut emerges amid life-altering prophetic voice

Andre Johnson August 16, 2022 6 min read

And the Lord answered me and said, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end. it shall speak, and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely come. It will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3 KJV)

PROPHECY FULFILLED

JUST AS GOD SAID — Rising writer Stewart-Tabiri is one of eight co-authors for And Then She Bounced Back…Again And Again, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by Washington, D. C. Visionary Author Maya Tyler.

Cherelyn Stewart-Tabiri wasted little time taking to social media on the night of June 16.

In a rather spirit announcement that is accompanied by two smiling face emojis, Stewart-Tabiri wrote before her 700-plus followers via Facebook:

“So A THING happened last night. My FIRST book, an anthology project, went #1 BESTSELLER on AMAZON in the preorder!!!!  I am soooooo honored and excited to invite you to celebrate this work of JOY with me, and preorder your SIGNED PAPERBACK copy TODAY!”

And just like that, Stewart-Tabiri’s authorship debut had come full circle amid what the Brooklyn, New York native described as a life-altering, prophetic voice, of sorts.

STANDING OVATION — “Overall, I have received positive feedback from friends and family,” said Stewart-Tabiri, adding that she is contemplating writing other books, specifically a children’s book with my son regarding his grief experience. “I did not share this part of my journey with everyone, but when I finally shared the pre-release information via social media, I received words of love, support, and extolment.”

As Stewart-Tabiri vividly recalls, it all unfolded sometime last year.

“On three different occasions in 2021, I received a prophecy that I was going to write a book or that ‘a book was in me.’” Stewart-Tabiri told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “Although I received the prophetic word, I didn’t know when or how to act upon it. Maya (Tyler) approached me about the anthology project in February or March 2022. I immediately remembered the prophecies and told Maya yes.”

The anthology to which Stewart-Tabiri is alluding is And Then She Bounced Back…Again And Again, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by Washington, D. C. Visionary Author Maya Tyler.

SHE DID THAT — According to Stewart-Tabiri, she needed approximately one month to make her first authorship adventure come to fruition, having begun to compose her selected chapter in April and finishing the following month.

An intriguing and life-altering book that is comprised of 80 pages in length, Tyler’s And Then She Bounced Back…Again And Again has already attracted a rash of rave reviews — a remarkably brilliant trend for an anthology that is only in the preorder phase.

The hardcopy edition will officially debut August 18.

“In widowhood, we see the same stories. People who turned their pain into purpose and bounced back, moving forward with new joys, new loves, and a renewed outlook on their next chapters of life,” said an Amazon spokesperson for And Then She Bounced Back…Again And Again. “What we don’t hear about is the truth about bouncing back…and for so many widows who struggle with feeling stuck somewhere in the limbo of their own ‘tragedy to triumph’ stories — after the pain, but before the purpose, the truth about this is what they need to hear.”

According to Stewart-Tabiri, she needed approximately one month to make her first authorship adventure come to fruition, having begun to compose her selected chapter in April and finishing the following month.

ROMANS 8:28 FACTOR

SEASON OF THE REBIRTH — “Writing my chapter allowed me to be okay with admitting to myself that I needed to do some deeper healing work for me and my children — specifically my son,” said Stewart-Tabiri, who acquired a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Morgan State University and a Master’s in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, told MHN. “As I unpack the totality of my trauma and grief, I believe I’ll be able to clearly understand and effectively operate in my purpose, ultimately glorifying God and serving others.”

As Stewart-Tabiri acknowledged, it was a golden opportunity worth taking.

And embracing, for the most part.

“Trust that God is with you as you are moving through your valley of despair to your mountain of hope,” said Stewart-Tabiri, explaining the divine message she’s aiming to send to her reading audience through And Then She Bounced Back…Again And Again. “There will be times where you think or feel that He is not there, but He is always there. It is in the valley that you will come to learn and know God as more than your Savior. Look for Him in every moment of every step in your journey.”

Having admitted she is still in what she appropriately labels “the discovery phase” regarding the purpose for which God has created her, Stewart-Tabiri doesn’t shy away from the notion that And Then She Bounced Back is “one of the many layers” in her newfound season of healing.

“Writing my chapter allowed me to be okay with admitting to myself that I needed to do some deeper healing work for me and my children — specifically my son,” Stewart-Tabiri, who acquired a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Morgan State University and a Master’s in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, told MHN. “As I unpack the totality of my trauma and grief, I believe I’ll be able to clearly understand and effectively operate in my purpose, ultimately glorifying God and serving others.”

DEFINING MOMENT — “On three different occasions in 2021, I received a prophecy that I was going to write a book or that ‘a book was in me.’” Stewart-Tabiri told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “Although I received the prophetic word, I didn’t know when or how to act upon it. Maya (Tyler) approached me about the anthology project in February or March 2022. I immediately remembered the prophecies and told Maya yes.”

To her credit, Stewart-Tabiri is doing just that, courtesy of her valiant contributions to And Then She Bounced Back, something by which her readers have embraced wholeheartedly since word spread that she has become a first-time published author.

“Overall, I have received positive feedback from friends and family,” said Stewart-Tabiri, adding that she is contemplating writing other books, specifically a children’s book with my son regarding his grief experience. “I did not share this part of my journey with everyone, but when I finally shared the pre-release information via social media, I received words of love, support, and extolment.”

Thanks in large part to that life-altering, prophetic voice, of sorts.
