If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, Who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. (James 1:5-8 NIV)
NO PAYNE, NO GAIN
Truth be told, Trivia Payne was dire need of a spiritual makeover.
Fortunately for her, God had just the life-altering remedy she needed.
Her Savior, in fact, infused within her the Light of the Holy Spirit, which subsequently gave way to her emerging as a remarkably gifted author.
“I was lost and confused, wondering why no one wanted me,” Payne, a Baltimore, Maryland-based educator for the Baltimore City Public Schools, said during a recent interview with Making Headline News, recalling arguably one of the darkest seasons of her life. “I was feeling abandoned as an adult and I was confused because I thought that I was giving my all to my family and my loved ones, but I could never measure up to the expectations. After hearing the title of this project, I was compelled to share my story of becoming a virtuous woman.”

The ”project” to which Payne is alluding is Women of Virtue Walking in Excellence: Inspirational Stories of Character, Wisdom, Courage and Strength.
“The opportunity came at such an opportune time,” Payne told MHN. “I was feeling alone and worthless and God used this book to remind me that my virtue is not defined by man, but who he says I am.”

Women of Virtue Walking In Excellence: Inspirational Stories of Character, Wisdom, Courage and Strength is the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by Visionary Author, Dr. Tasheka L. Green.
To her credit, Payne co-authored the current three volumes of Dr. Green’s Women of Virtue Walking In Excellence: Inspirational Stories of Character, Wisdom, Courage and Strength, the first of which debuted in November 2019.
Accompanied by the featured Biblical verse that is Proverbs 31:10, the co-authors of Women of Virtue Walking In Excellence vividly remind their readers that a virtuous woman is not about being perfect. Rather, it is about living a life full of purpose, daily demonstrating character, wisdom, courage, and strength, according to an in-depth introduction of this anthology at GoodReads.com.
ACCORDING TO GOD’S MANUAL…
“Women of Virtue Walking in Excellence: Inspirational Stories of Character, Wisdom, Courage, and Strength is a compilation of 20 diverse stories of women who passionately narrated how they demonstrate character, courage, wisdom, and strength as they walk in the ways of a virtuous woman,” said a GoodReads.com spokesperson for this collaborative written work. “For we are not perfect, but we were created by a perfect God and seek to live a purposeful life with power, grace, and value.
“As you reflect on how you walk in the ways of a virtuous woman, consider the following: Are you a woman who knows her worth and value? Are you a woman who settles for nothing less than the promises for her life? Are you passionate about how your life influences others? Are you on a journey to become the best version of you? This book is for you. The stories will encourage your soul, nurture your dreams, transform your life, and inspire you to be all who God created you to be.”
As Payne dauntlessly declared, writing for the Women of Virtue Walking In Excellence series had ultimately given her what she appropriately describes as “ownership of using my voice.”
Not to mention providing her with the spiritual makeover she needed.
THROUGH THE YEARS
Payne joined the Women of Virtue Walking In Excellence book project in 2019, forming a close-knit collaborative relationship that has continued with the release of its latest book in the series in 2021.
“I completed Volume 3 in the summer of 2021 in the heart of the pandemic,” said Payne, “and God was beginning to restore what was lost.”
To her credit, Payne has been written five books to date, including We Pray God Moves and Iron Sharpens Iron.
Three additional books, she said, are forthcoming: There Is A Song In My Testimony (projected to be released in Summer 2023), Devotions From A Soldier (Scheduled to be released in winter 2022), and The One Who Healed My Heart (scheduled to debut in 2023).
GOD RESTORES
As for her having been blessed mightily to fortify her authorship gifts as part of the Women of Virtue Walking In Excellence series, Payne — the architect for T.R.I.V.I.A’s Inspirational Radio — said: “God has created me to be a virtuous woman, not because of works alone, but by trusting in Him and His process.”
And the rest, as they say, is history.
