25 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
HOUSTON — Fresh Spirit Wellness For Women, Inc. is preparing to commemorate its Silver Anniversary.
And what a distinctly unique way to celebrate the fervent rise of this Houston-based nonprofit organization than by paying homage to the remarkably brilliant strides it has made for the past two-and-a-half decades.
Founded by accomplished Houston empowerment extraordinaire Dr. Conte Terrell, the longtime and beloved trauma counselor and television/radio host announced that her organization will be hosting the Fresh Spirit Wellness For Women, Inc. 25th Anniversary Celebration And Appreciation Awards Brunch.
Powered by Fresh Spirit Wellness For Women, Inc., this empowerment event will take place October 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST at Houston’s Hilton Hotel Galleria, located at 2001 Post Oak Boulevard.
Ticket to the celebratory brunch can be purchased at http://www.freshspirit.org/journeyto25/.
“As always, the brunch will benefit those who have been affected by domestic and sexual violence,” Dr. Terrell told Making Headline News this week as part of its coverage during Bishop T. D. Jakes’ Woman Thou Art Loosed Homecoming The Finale. “All proceeds will go towards helping FSWW to continue free counseling and therapy, case management, legal advocacy, support groups, workshops, protective orders, safe night stays and more for survivors of domestic violence.”
According to organizers for this assembly, Dr. Letitia Plummer will be the featured speaker for the Fresh Spirit Wellness For Women, Inc. 25th Anniversary Celebration And Appreciation Awards Brunch.
