Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard that went down to the skirts of his garments. As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. (Psalm 133:1-3 KJV)
GETTING HIS POINT ACROSS
All it took, really, was a simple nudge from Almighty God.
Once again.
This, according to Lawrence Stokes, is what transpired with regards to the latest developments surrounding the production of his second book project.
“God nudged me to join an anthology project with the visionary Deborah Juniper-Frye and with 15 other male co-authors,” Stokes told Making Headline News this week.

The anthology to which Stokes is alluding is Grief Through His Eyes: Seeing Grief From His Point of View Volume 2, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by Juniper-Frye, the Virginia Beach, Virginia-based Amazon No. 1 bestseller Visionary Author.
The sophomore version of Juniper-Frye’s collaborative written work comes approximately one year after she witnessed the debut of Grief Through His Eyes: Seeing Grief From His Point Of View.
Just like last year, this anthology is accompanied by a variety of life-altering stories of Juniper-Frye’s male counterparts, with Stokes and a few others electing to run it back after the initial volume was a massive success.
SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE
For Stokes, a two-time Dallas/Fort Worth-based published author, his chapter in Grief Through His Eyes: Seeing Grief From His Point of View Volume 2 is entitled, The Darkest Day: The Day I Questioned My Existence.
As part of Making Headline News’ 2023 Essence Music Festival advance coverage leading to the “the party with a purpose” event June 29-July 3 in New Orleans, Stokes emphasized, among things, he’s destined enlighten men by informing them they are not alone in their struggles.

“This book has something in it for everyone,” Stokes told MHN.
Interestingly enough, Stokes collaborating with Grief Through His Eyes: Seeing Grief From His Point of View Volume 2 comes amid his notable role as a contributing writer for Own It Magazine.
“I’ve written five articles this year,” Stokes said of his partnering with Own It Magazine.
As the Bridgeport, Connecticut native acknowledged, being a contributing writer for publication is a compelling extension of his gifts as a rising author.
To his credit, Stokes’ latest authorship collab adventure has been nothing short of impressive, considering Juniper-Frye’s Grief Through His Eyes: Seeing Grief From His Point of View has emerged an Amazon No. 1 in several categories for a second consecutive year.
“Because of nature of the book, the overall response has been surprising to those that read it because that’s a side of me I never shared,” Stokes told MHN.
For what it’s worth, Stokes doesn’t take lightly the doors God customarily has opened, particularly since he has discovered his immeasurable gift as writer.
“God has allowed me to share my experiences with other men,” “said Stokes, “letting them know they don’t have to suffer alone.”
