Instead, in some cultures, she acknowledged, grief isn’t merely spoken of or dealt with in a healthy manner.
“Also, (we emphasize) that the normalization of this topic is much needed in our society,” Dozier said. “(My personal mission is centered on) helping others see that grief and loss are universal and that each of us have a choice to become more self-aware and grow through grief.”
