I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NIV)
GOD’S LEADING LADY
DALLAS — Ten and counting.
That is the number of books accomplished Christian-based author LaDonna Jarden has written throughout an authorship tenure that spans a little more than a decade and a half.
Her latest written work, “Bruised But Not Broken: Worshipping With A Broken Heart,” is presently in the works and, much to her delight, has already created a favorable buzz for Jarden, a native of Houston.
During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Jarden was extremely complementary to God, particularly how He’s gone about using her for His glory through her immeasurable gifts as an author.
“It (is) a testimony of life issues I was dealing with,” Jarden, a DeRidder, Louisiana-based writer, said of her latest book, a spiritually-equipping project that will be released at a date to be announced. “It was a coping mechanism for me to release the pain I was enduring.”

Jarden’s authorship debut occurred in 2001 during which she discovered her sister was ill. She completed her initial project two years later.
To her credit, it seemed she hasn’t retired the pad and pen since, considering she has written nine additional books, including one in consecutive years between 2014-2016.
Prior to that timeframe, Jarden had written books every two years.
“In this book I’m publishing is for my sisters,” ladies, please stop holding every man accountable for (your) past relationship issues,” said Jarden, explaining the divine message she’s aiming to send to her audience through her newly-assembled book. “If you allow God to heal the hurt, you can overcome this.”
In a nutshell, Jarden emphasized, what it all boils down to seeking and consulting God for a sense of direction, particularly when it comes to putting the past where it belongs: behind you.
“I’m not saying it’s easy, but you will get through it,” Jarden said. “I’m reminded the story of Job. He lost all he had, but he fell to the ground and worshipped. He said, ‘The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away,…blessed be the name of the Lord.’ He worshipped God and remained faithful.”
A book that is a spinoff from a conference Jarden customarily hosts, this devout woman of faith said the feedback through her books has been overwhelmingly favorable.
“I’ve counseled many single women on relationships,” Jarden said. “I’ve gone to marriage retreats, taught women’s conferences, etc.
As Jarden has reiterated time and again to those to whom she counsels, “Everything we face in life has a purpose.”
THROUGH IT ALL…
Interestingly, she even deemed it essential to offer a great deal of transparency when sharing with others her assortment of life-changing testimonies.
“My marriage for the first five years was rocky,” Jarden said. “I didn’t consult anyone but God. I didn’t consult family, girlfriends, or others. I spoke with our spiritual father and he came down and counseled us, after which I became a spokesperson for women in marriage. The enemy wants nothing more than to lock believers in that cell of pain and keep us trapped in isolation. But God says, ‘No!’”
An accomplished businesswoman in her own right — she owns a T-shirt line and credible publishing company — Jarden is giddy of the fact that God has strategically set her aside for His use.
A NOTABLE REMINDER…
How else to explain why she’s made some pretty considerable strides as a Christian-based author?
“There are many other books I know God has purposed me to do,” said Jarden, whose itinerary includes an engagement in December during which she will enlighten women knowing their position and purpose in ministry.
An authorship tenure that spans nearly 16 years, Jarden said amongst her strategic objectives to encourage people from various walks of life to development the mindset tell of God’s goodness through their testimonies.

“I believe that if we as believers would tell our story, then we can win others to Christ,” Jarden said. “Pursue your purpose and God will use you for His glory. I am now a publisher with my own publishing company.”
To her credit, she’s undoubtedly savoring the fruits of her labor.
“This year, I have published five (authors’ books), and I have personally written 10 books,” Jarden said. “I’ve been writing for 15 years.”
And counting.
Talk about allowing God to use her mightily according to His purpose.
