For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18 NASB)
NEVER FORGET TO REMEMBER
It never fails.
Virtually every time TeNita M. Freeman hears someone reference Woman Thou Art Loosed, she immediately has an instant flashback, reminiscing, among other things, on what unfolded back in 1995 within the walls of the now defunct Georgia Dome.
As Freeman recalls, internationally acclaimed Pastor and gospel singer Dr. Juanita Bynum was giving a spiritually empowering sermon entitled, No More Sheets, a life-altering lecture that, much to her delight, changed the overall landscape of her life.
“My life changed forever,” Freeman said of her appearance at the ’95 edition of Woman Thou Art Loosed. “My mother and others were in the Georgia Dome and Dr. Juanita Bynum is getting ready to preach. I had gotten pregnant by someone that God told me not to be with. Before we left Memphis, I began to bleed, went to the doctor, and she instructed me not to travel.”

Dismissing her doctor’s suggestion, Freeman deemed it necessary that she make the six-hour commute from Memphis to Atlanta, where she sensed that God was strategically preparing to reveal to her why He entrusted her to endure the turbulence by which she had faced at the time.
“I went to the conference anyway, because I felt God needed to do something through me,” Freeman explained. “There was a moment in the service that Bishop (T. D.) Jakes and Dr. Bynum were both up and all I heard was, ‘PUSH!’ Then they started talking about spiritual miscarriages.”
Consequently, Freeman recalls something rather incomprehensible taking place within her body.
“It was at that moment that I began to cramp and blood was flowing from my body,” Freeman recalls. “I was screaming, not in fear, but it was like I was pushing something out. Ladies around us began to help my mother, ran across the street to purchase me shoes and other essentials, and some even went to a vendor and purchased me a change of clothes. It was an experience I will never forget and it changed my life forever. I returned home, went to the doctor, and she confirmed that I had miscarried.”
For Freeman, 51, such an unlikely encounter, coupled with Dr. Bynum’s riveting sermon, had ultimately given her a newfound disposition on life, considering God subsequently set her aside for His use in ways she never envisioned.
GEORGIA STATE OF MIND
In Making Headline News’ Woman Thou Art Loosed Virtual Experience advance coverage leading to Bishop T. D. Jakes’ annual event that will take place October 15-17, Freeman said visiting Atlanta 15 years ago to witness Bynum deliver a memorable message of spiritual confirmation has benefited her mightily, particularly as an accomplished Pastor and the founder of TeNita Freeman Ministries.
“My personal mission is to empower others to not reflect on what has happened but rather get dressed for where God is taking them,” Freeman said.
A preaching stint that spans more than two decades, Freeman has witnessed her kingdom-based calling soar to immeasurable heights — thus garner a national presence — given she’s been afforded the golden opportunity to spread the gospel in a variety of places, most notably her native home state of Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Florida, Kentucky and Georgia, among other establishments.
A fixture in the Corporate America sector whose organizational management career dates back to 2011, Freeman is longtime project manager and the face of Freeman Enterprises.
A beloved member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, Freeman is a graduate of the historic — and now defunct — Memphis Carver High School. Consequently, she acquired a Bachelor of Arts Degree from LeMoyne-Owen College and an MBA from Webster University.

Still, that Freeman has found her fervent niche in ministry is something by which she doesn’t merely take lightly, considering she’s thoroughly convinced her God-mandated calling aligns with the purpose for which she was created.

“I have a passion for ministry and organizational management,” Freeman said. Helping others and witnessing them excel is what God instilled in me both naturally and spiritually.”
All things considered, Freeman doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s forever grateful to her solid supporting cast, which was spearheaded by her grandmothers — both of whom are deceased — her mother, as well as her children and those whom she appropriately describes as “a few spiritually connected individuals.”
“What I enjoy most about ministry is the manifestation of God’s word and how He assigns me to do things I would have not done on my own,” Freeman said. “With Freeman Enterprise, I enjoy helping others with strategic plans of organizing or reorganizing their work.”
Talk about savoring the best of both worlds, this after being blessed to have erased the memory of unlikely miscarriages — both in the natural and the spirit.
