Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be firm, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NASB)
PATHWAY TO VICTORY
Evangelist Redina Thorpe-Thomas’ valiant contributions to the Body of Christ are such that she has become a fixture for empowering women and men from various walks of life to become better versions of themselves.
To her credit, a majority of the notable bestowments executed by Thorpe-Thomas customarily take place through Finding A Path After Pain, her Savannah, Georgia-based nonprofit organization that has established a strong commitment to building, creating, and empowering women and men to become all that God has predestined them to be.
In essence, this is done mostly through providing a variety of entities related to ministry, as well as prayer, counseling, coaching, mentoring, and inspirational speaking, just to name a few.
“(We’re committed to) creating opportunities for women and men who have lost their way to find forgiveness and renewal through coaching, prayer, and ministerial counseling,” Thorpe-Thomas, 56, said to in kick off Making Headline News’ Woman Thou Art Loosed Virtual Experience coverage of Bishop T. D. Jakes’ annual event. “So many of us have lost our way and have been wounded due to molestation, domestic violence, rape, incest, prostitution, and infectious diseases. Our mandate from our Heavenly Father is to guide and inspire women and men to a clear understanding of how to find their path after pain through helping them change negative thinking and thought patterns, realizing their full potential to embrace their own power and become their authentic self.”

A progressive, flourishing organization that was established on September 14, 2020, the emergence of Finding A Path After Pain comes approximately a year-and-a-half after Thorpe-Thomas was installed as an ordained minister (February 10, 2019) at Union Skidaway Baptist Church.
Located in nearby Chatham County, Georgia, Skidaway Baptist is Pastored by Alan Dwayne O’Neal Sr.
Having established a well-respected teaching career spans more than three decades, Thorpe-Thomas has developed a keen passion for ministering to and coaching adults and children through her rising ministry.
Also, Thorpe-Thomas’ organization customarily assists with resume writing, applying for college, and applying jobs along with skill development in multiple areas to further support victims.
According to a recent announcement at https://findingapathafterpain.com/pre-order-books, Thorpe-Thomas said 100 percent of proceeds acquired through her latest book will help fund Finding A Path After Pain.
Thorpe-Thomas’s written work, When The Curtain Falls, debuted in July 2021.
“I strongly believe that my career in education helped build me for my new level of competitive drive and excellence,” Thorpe-Thomas, who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a Master’s in Education and Leadership, said. “I found my experience in education much like that of a small child building blocks. The child, oftentimes, builds and rebuilds, adding and subtracting, but still is able to find beauty in the journey. As an educator, as I built my career, there were highs and lows, but the end — no matter what it looks like — taught me valuable lessons.
“One of the most important lessons, just like a child building blocks, I am reminded that all is not lost when a tower falls, or when we even neglect to build the tallest and most perfect tower of them all,” continued Thorpe-Thomas, a native of Savannah. “There is value in building the tower. There is always learning and joy and personal success. When one tower falls, it just means I get the opportunity to build a new one or two smaller ones. Just live and enjoy the journey called life.”
Interestingly enough, that Thorpe-Thomas has been blessed mightily to serve as what she appropriately describes as “a change agent for the Kingdom” is what makes overseeing the day-to-day operations of her advanced ministry worthwhile.

“I recently published a new book entitled, When The Curtain Falls Subtitle: Exposing The Darkside of Blue, which is a bestseller,” Thorpe-Thomas recalls. “As a champion of women’s rights and domestic violence advocate, I understand first-hand the perils of ignoring red flags and the advice of those closest to me. Behind the curtain of our lives, we hide from the world the things we don’t want to be exposed, but eventually the curtains will fall. I had to pull back the curtain to expose the unsettling events that ensued as I tried to find my path to recovery after years of physical, mental, and emotional abuse. The entire book offers growth lessons to help my readers navigate their own lives through life’s most challenging events.”
As does her progressive, thriving ministry.
“Someone assisted me on my journey to recovery,” said Thorpe-Thomas “and it’s my duty to assist others in Finding their Path After Pain.”
With God, her Helper, leading the way.
