And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. CHOSEN REGARDLESS  

Lakeisha Wilson doesn’t mind disclosing what she undoubtedly senses is a life-altering testimony, doesn’t mind sharing with the masses how God has strategically provided for her a way of escape.

Time and time again.

“In 2013, I felt the need to write down my pain and my hurt in order to heal from the trauma of being molested, as well as my daughter being molested and violated by my then-husband and then-in-laws,” Wilson, during a weekend interview with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments that, by all accounts, have altered the overall landscape of her life. “I didn’t know how to cope with it. I start writing down the deception and how I was deceived. The more I wrote, the more I cried.”

All things considered, virtually every tear Wilson had shed amid her dreaded season in the wilderness weren’t merely wasted.

Not by a long shot.

If nothing else, those tears were essentially down payments toward this devout woman of faith and licensed ordained minister taking monumental steps toward her destiny, particularly as an eventual first-time author who is responsible for having composed Already Chosen, her highly-anticipated book that made its ceremonious release in July 2020.

“I had to ask myself on numerous occasions why did I had to fight the system of DSS (Department for Social Services) so hard to get my babies back,” Wilson recalls. “The more I cried, I started praying. The more I prayed, the freer I was feeling in my spirit. I didn’t know I was writing a book until He said, ‘Now, this is your book.’”

Indeed, it is. A rather remarkably compelling one, too.

An amazing published masterpiece that is comprised of 244 pages in length, Wilson’s Already Chosen depicts the life of a beloved aunt who discovers her adopted niece and nephew are not as safe in her home as she previously thought, according to detailed synopsis of Wilson’s featured book at Amazon.com.

“Child welfare and the police will soon get involved, but just who is the culprit?” Wilson writes in her Amazon introduction. “Is her mom helping or a hinderance? How will this trusted caretaker handle satan’s venomous attack? What will happen to the children? Learn how faith and family face deception and evil head on.”

A native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi who currently resides in Taylors, South Carolina, Wilson spent somewhere in the neighborhood of seven years — “I started in 2013 and finished in 2020,” she recalls — to construct an Already Chosen book that has given way to her becoming the beneficiary of an array of favorable feedback and reviews.

“I have been told there are parts (of this book) that make you laugh and there are parts that makes you cry,” Wilson said. “(The purpose of this book is) to help men, women, boys, and girls of all races (deal appropriately with) sexual abuse, domestic violence, and any trauma they have endured from childhood until adulthood. (This book is designed) to give them truth, (reminding them) that they can overcome the childhood rape or abuse through the word of God.”

Besides Already Chosen, Wilson is one of 10 co-authors who have taken part in Diamonds In The Rough: 3rd Edition, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by Gainesville, Florida author Dr. Charmaine Powell.

As for the divine message she aspires to send to her reading audience through Already Chosen, Wilson said: “(This book) already has two parts to it. The first part is telling the readers that God can use anybody if they want to be used. The little brother in this book is teaching you how to pray your way through the storm he and his sister are enduring. Through prayer, God is answering him and guiding him every step of the way and opening doors for them. He is letting you know prayer is the key.”
