What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. (Mark 10:9/KJV)
NF–LOVE IN AIR
Sometimes three years ago, Randy and Michelle Harden were blessed mightily to take yet another step towards their destiny.
A monumental step, to put it more precisely.
That’s because this Christ-centered Houston-area couple had become the masterminds behinds Knot Easily Broken: The Power Couple’s Playbook, their featured written work that has had a monumental impact on the Body of Christ.
To their credit, it still is.

As part of Making Headline News’ advance coverage of Sarah Jakes Roberts’ inaugural Woman Evolve Conference September 14-16 from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, the Hardens — known as the Power Couple — spoke at length about how their spiritually-empowering, life-altering published masterpiece had been in the works for some time.
“It was a long time coming,” Michelle Harden told MHN this week. “We’re excited that we finally completed it. Now, we can place it in the hands of every couple who needs strategies for building, blocking, and believing in the blessings of a godly marriage. We dedicate this book to every power couple around the world. This book was written with you in mind.”
Added Randy Harden: “We united together to do this great piece of work to let everyone know that when others have counted you out, you can still emerge victorious as long as you stay in the game. Here’s the playbook. Be blessed and enjoy every page.”
And what a riveting, fascinating book it has become.
An awe-inspiring project the Hardens needed somewhere in the neighborhood of four months to compose — they began constructing the book in December 2021 and put the wraps on it in April 2022 — this beloved, big-hearted godly couple has been suitable named The Prez and The Brandmaster, according to the uniquely-assembled introduction of Knot Easily Broken: The Power Couple’s Playbook.

Said Randy Harden, who’s fittingly known as The Prez: “The reason it’s important to release Knot Easily Broken: The Power Couple’s Playbook is because people need to know there are rules and regulations to everything. If we know the rules, more than likely, we will abide by them to avoid consequences. If we know the rules, there is a good chance we won’t break them.”
Replied Michelle Harden, pleasantly known as The Brandmaster: “And I think it’s important for women to know that sometimes we are on the defense, but we must realize we’re part of the same team. This playbook will help those of us who are considered power couples find the strength in our team, our teammates, or our soulmate. As we take this journey through Knot Easily Broken: The Power Couple’s Playbook, we should be able to identify our role and our strategy. The ultimate part of the game is for both of us to win.”
Said The Prez: “You’re telling me there’s a win in this for both of us?”
Answered The Brandmaster: “Yes, there’s a win for both of us. We’re on the same team. Sometimes in marriage, we fight against one another. We may think, ‘I’m on the offense. He is on the defense.’ However, in our playbook, we show you how to be on the same team, huddle up, kick the field goal, or score the winning touchdown.”
Replied The Prez: “And sometimes we fumble.”
Added The Brandmaster: “We teach you what to do when you fumble.”
For what it’s worth, of course, you get the point.
An informative, intriguing book that has generated a slew of rave reviews, the Hardens emphasized, among other things, that marriage is “like the sport football,” as they vividly remind readers in this ever-evolving playbook.

“You have fumbles, you need to huddle, call audibles, celebrate the touchdowns, etc.” said the Hardens, referring specifically Knot Easily Broken’s eight chapters entitled: Quarterback, False Start, Huddle, Fumble, Audible, Touchdown, Field Goal, and Hail Mary.
KNOT TODAY, DEVIL
As for how their featured written work aligns with the purpose for which God created them, the Hardens stressed the institution of marriage was created by God, to demonstrate His unconditional love, forgiveness, and redemption.
“Our marriage is the pages of the scriptures that show God’s unconditional love for one another and others,” Randy Harden explains. “And ultimately, how to help one another soar and achieve greatness individually and collectively.”
Three years removed from witnessing the ceremonious release of Knot Easily Broken, other marriage-related books are forthcoming, most notably Michelle Harden’s The Modern-Day Proverbs 31 Woman: What It Means To Be a HELP MEET.
Interestingly enough, the Hardens later this month will head to Hawaii, where they will engage in morning devotions with like-minded married couples, as well promote their book and offer their exclusive Power Couple paraphernalia.
THE HARDENS’ FERVENT PRAYER
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we come to you and bless the marriages of the couples who read this book. We bless their union, and we ask that You continue to give them peace, wisdom, and understanding. Give them the strategies to put in place. They may need a Hail Mary right now. They need to score a touchdown. Perhaps they need to strengthen their defense against the enemy. We ask You to give them what they need as they take this journey with us in Knot Easily Broken: The Power Couple’s Playbook, in Jesus’ Name, Amen. — Randy and Michelle Harden
