Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)
THIS IS HOLY GROUND

It doesn’t take much to inspire Le’Keshia Atchison to strike up a conversation about her upbringing.
Not after she diligently pressed and navigated the rash of obstacles through which she encountered.
Consider, for instance, that dreaded, unlikely season of turbulence by which Atchison faced at just the tender age of 12.
“My mother was shot when I was 12 years old and, being the only daughter of her two kids, it became my responsibility to tend to her and the house all while maintaining A’s and B’s in school,” Atchison, during a recent interview with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments that helped shaped her life while growing up in her Ayden, North Carolina neighborhood.

“I went from being a child to developing the mindset of what it is like to manage a household while nursing someone back to their original form that Daddy God intended them to have. My upbringing taught me resilience, perseverance, patience, and discipline and those very same roots that were planted are used when I sometimes feel discouraged or when I may be going through spiritual warfare.”
All things considered, though, Atchison’s sometimes tumultuous, yet Christ-centered rearing has greatly enabled her to help advance the kingdom mightily by way of Set Your Soul On Fire, her rising Detroit-based ministry-turned-podcast, a platform designed to empower the masses to become better versions of themselves.

As part of Making Headline News’ advance national coverage ahead of Sarah Jakes Roberts’ Third Annual Woman Evolve Conference July 31 through August 2 from Atlanta, Atchison, 40, said in spite of the flurry of hardships she has endured throughout the years, she sensed it was in her best interest not to give up in large part God had strategically set her aside for His use.
“I know there is a blessing on the other side just like it has been my entire life,” Atchison said. “I know not to fret the small beginnings. I know how to run with every vision that He has given me because I wrote it down and it came to pass. I am a living testimony that He is the same God was back then, yesterday, and today.”
By all accounts, amongst the things Atchison said she loves the most about her rising ministry is that it customarily affords her golden opportunities to fortify to masses Agape love.
“I love that the ministry that Daddy God has given me is not only helping other people — which is something that I always loved doing — but this ministry is also healing and delivering me as I continue on this journey,” Atchison told MHN. “Just because He may have you speaking in front of people does not mean that person is not having battles on their own behind the scenes.
“The difference between me and them is that with each episode of Set Your Soul On Fire, it’s helping me as well, which is something that I am not afraid to be transparent about. This platform is not structured or within a box, but it moves however, whenever, wherever the Holy Spirit desires it to go.”
Generally, Atchison’s Set Your Soul On Fire platform customarily caters to individuals and groups ranging in ages 30-to-65, as well as children ranging in ages 10-to-14, primarily because of the children’s books that “Daddy God has had me write,” she said.
A 10-time bestselling author, Atchison discovered her gift for writing in August 2022 during which she was “homeless and in a cocoon,” she recalls.
Consequently, Atchison’s Set Your Soul On Fire podcast came full circle in January 2024.
To her credit, Atchison has been actively involved in ministry since 2022.
“I want to please Daddy God and be in obedience to His commands and instructions,” Atchison said. “I do not aim to please people — been there and done that — but I aim to please Him and be within right standing with Him because my help comes from Him.
SEASON OF NEW BEGINNINGS

“He is my source, and I had to learn that the hard way,” continued Atchison, referencing the Daniel 4 experience. “People, places, and things cannot fill the voids that are within you. Only Daddy God can through Jesus the Christ.”
Amen.
And Amen.
