DALLAS — Atlanta empowerment extraordinaire and philanthropist Jay Vinson has named Andre T. Johnson as his publicist, the Making Headline News Founder/President and longtime journalist announced this week.

A four-time MHN Man of The Year, Vinson’s affiliation with the Dallas-based media outlet dates back to 2020 and, according to the esteemed faith-leader and transformational coach, naming Johnson to assume the role as his publicist was deemed a foregone conclusion.
“I chose Making Headline News as my publicist because of the professionalism, consistency, and quality they have demonstrated over the years,” Vinson said. “Andre Johnson has done a tremendous job covering my journey and accomplishments, and I trust his ability to help expand the reach of (my new book) More Than A Game.”
Vinson and Johnson have agreed to a one-year deal, which officially begins July 1 and runs through July 1, 2027.
Terms of the affiliation were not publicly disclosed.
“I am looking forward to this partnership,” said Vinson, the founder and CEO of JV Athlete Advisory Services, his Atlanta-based purpose-driven organization designed to equip student-athletes with essential tools for mental wellness, NIL education, leadership development, and personal branding. “I look forward to the opportunities (my publicist) will create to impact athletes, coaches, and leaders across the country.”
