Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV)
Surely, Andrew J. Landry was in the right place at the right time.
Come to think of it, he was in the perfect establishment to witness God execute a supernatural blessing on his behalf.
As Landry vividly recalls, it all unfolded sometime last year.
“After a sermon by Pastor Keion Henderson, he reminded us that 2017 was the Year of Release and that God had a different avenue in each of us to release something in us,” Landry explained. “(He said) God would release some from student loans, some from financial debt, some had a book in them, (and that some would witness the) release of sons and daughter from prison, etc.”
Ahhh…a book.
For Landry, it was a vision that essentially transpired shortly after fielding arguably one of the memorable sermons of his life.

“In my prayer time, God kept giving me the theme scripture of the book, Revelation 12:11,” Landry told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb and word of their testimony.”
For Landry, it was undoubtedly the divine revelation he needed amid God revealing to him what has become an awesome and compelling assignment for such a time as now, one that was culminated with the much-anticipated release of a book.
Just as the man of God had previously prophesied sometime last year.
A native of Humble, Texas, Landry is the mastermind by the book entitled, Overcoming The Addiction That No One Has, an awe-inspiring, informative written document that officially made its presence on the market back on March 12.
A book that is comprised of just 81 pages, Landry’s Overcoming The Addiction That No One Has is widely described as a candid project, considering it depicts his personal journey through life, mostly notably personal struggles and, much to his delight, his ultimate triumph.
“His vulnerability and desire to encourage men is evident in his debut project Overcoming The Addiction That No One Has,” said a spokesperson for Landry new book in detail description at Amazon.com.
Not only that, this inspiring memoir focuses mostly on Landry’s life, recalling, among other things, a variety of events in early his childhood, during which where he discusses what he deems “the seeds of addictive behavior.”
Consequently, this accomplished Texas writer thinks it essential to walk readers through his teenage years and early adulthood, during which he’s describing how addiction intensified, thus became what he refers to as “a ruler” in his life until he had eventually came face-to-face with his truth.
“The topic is about sexual addiction, but the story is about hope and redemption,” Landry, a native of Raywood, Texas, said. “Most people say that it is an easy read and that once they started reading it, they could not put it down.”
Given the great deal of transparency Landry displays in his book, several readers had gone as far as to label him “bold and courageous for being vulnerable and transparent.”
Interestingly, in the text, Landry’s primary focus shifts from his retelling his story to one that recalls his passion for ministry, during which he reflects on an assortment of life lessons, as well as highlights the steps taken to experience a healthier, more fulfilled life.
“It is a testament to the power of resilience, forgiveness, and faith,” said a spokesperson for Landry’s book.

Conversely, when asked what inspired him to kick off his authorship debut with Overcoming The Addiction That No One Has, Landry said, “I want to start a conversation. I know what it’s like to suffer in silence and I want to help other men break the silence to experience the freedom of overcoming.”
Mission accomplished without question for this inspiring, godly author, who’s already compiling a rather solid itinerary and a host of forthcoming book signings — most notably partnering his publisher, Lindsy Bivens, as part of the My Message Matters Tour and events in Jacksonville, Florida, Saginaw, Michigan, Savannah, Georgia, and nearby Houston.
In addition, Landry is scheduled to conduct book signings at The Well Experience on June 15-16 at the Lighthouse Church’s Humble campus.
“My goal is to get a conversation started about this very taboo subject of sexual addiction,” Landry said. “My intent is to have a global initiative to assist with a healing process to those affected by this epidemic.”
Surely, he was in the right place at the right time, in the perfect establishment to witness God execute a supernatural blessing on his behalf.
Mission accomplished.
