Houston author Brittney Carr escapes suicide time and again, she explains in her new book

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NIV)

DALLAS — As far as Brittney Carr is concerned, it literally goes without saying.

That is, she undoubtedly thanks God for her husband, Darius Carr, who unquestionably has been her grandest supporter ever since God has joined them together.

Consider, for instance, how in October 2018, during which God had strategically given Brittney Carr the awe-inspiring vision to make her authorship debut, courtesy of her book entitled, F.E.A.R., the acronym that stands for False Evidence Appearing Real.

SURROUNDED BY ANGELS

DESTINY STEPS — In October 2018, God had strategically given Houston author Brittney Carr the awe-inspiring vision to make her authorship debut, courtesy of her book entitled, F.E.A.R., the acronym that stands for False Evidence Appearing Real.

A 79-page project that Brittney Carr needed somewhere in the neighborhood of three months to assemble, F.E.A.R. is less than two months removed from having made its ceremonious release on the market.

During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Brittney Carr credited her beloved companion for having fueled her desire to compose a book that figures to help advance the kingdom — much sooner than later.

“God gave me the vision to write this book one day when my husband told me that I needed to tell people my story and that I would help many people with my testimony. So God told me to just start writing. So I started to write my story.” — Texas Author Brittney Carr

And what a remarkably compelling and thought-provoking story it is.

PURCHASE BRITTNEY CARR’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/F-R-False-Evidence-Appearing/dp/1795824484/

An emotionally-drive, tear-jerking story that recalls how this brilliant author had had been spiritually and emotionally incarcerated to the point, during which she had attempted suicide an unprecedented four times during a span of six months, Carr’s F.E.A.R. is widely deemed an inspirational, yet true story, one that serves as an instant motivator for anyone who has gone through arguably the toughest of life’s trials and tribulations.

“Nothing is ever as bad as it seems, but it’s the paralyzing F.E.A.R. that difficult circumstances in life continually produce in our minds that cause us to go to pieces when faced with extreme adversities,” said a spokesperson for Carr’s book at Amazon.com. “The mental, emotional, and spiritual effects can be catastrophic or sometimes even fatal. This book was designed to help the millions of people worldwide that are currently going through something very difficult in life such as physical health issues, mental illness, financial problems, anxiety, addiction, heartbreak, failed relationships, parenting obstacles, death of a loved one, self-esteem troubles, spiritual warfare, mental and emotional trauma, and much more.”

HUBBY KNOWS BEST — During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Brittney Carr credited, Darius Carr, her beloved companion for having fueled her desire to compose a book that figures to help advance the kingdom — much sooner than later.

For Carr, a Houston-based author, she said that while the writing process of her book wasn’t merely a lengthy one — “Maybe a couple of days, but the editing took a little longer and the procrastination of not knowing if I wanted to let people know my business,” she acknowledged — she certainly didn’t want to be ashamed of the turbulent developments she disclosed.

Still, because she was thoroughly convinced that God had strategically placed her on assignment to compose her book, she knew full well she had to tell of her story to the masses.

THEY’RE DEPENDING ON HER — To no avail, God — as only He could — didn’t allow Carr to cross paths with a premature death, in large part because, well, the purpose for which He created her wasn’t fulfilled.

And so it came to pass, Carr’s assortment of emotional and life-alter testimonies, all of which had come wrapped up in a rather pivotal message, one that reminds us, among other things, that fear is false evidence appearing real, she often says without hesitation.

“Alot of people are paralyzed by fear and they are unable to live life,” Carr said. “I was one of those people. I wasn’t afraid to die, but I was afraid to live. I hated this world and everything in it. And I was ready to go home (to heaven).”

PURCHASE BRITTNEY CARR’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/F-R-False-Evidence-Appearing/dp/1795824484/

To no avail, God — as only He could — didn’t allow Carr to cross paths with a premature death, in large part because, well, the purpose for which He created her wasn’t merely fulfilled.

That, as a result, meant she had to tough it out, thus press and navigate her way through the slew of unfavorable circumstances that arose in her young life to challenge her faith.

“Through the goodness of God, I made it through,” Carr said. “And I want to let people know that they may be in the darkest place of their lives right now, but if they just continue to trust God and pray and cry out to Him that they can get out. God is a Present Help and He is always listening and guiding His children.”

HAVE NO FEAR

TRUSTING THE PROCESS — For Carr, a Houston-based author, she said that while the writing process of her book wasn’t merely a lengthy one — “Maybe a couple of days, but the editing took a little longer and the procrastination of not knowing if I wanted to let people know my business,” she acknowledged — she certainly didn’t want to be ashamed of the turbulent developments she disclosed.

As expected, the feedback since the release of Carr’s book has been favorable.

“I have gained very positive feedback,” said Carr, adding that a two more books are on the horizon. “People have been writing me, telling me how my testimonies have inspired them in many ways.”

Much to her delight, Carr has her husband to thank for helping steer her to her divine purpose.

“My life is a testimony that I was ashamed of, but not anymore,” Carr said. “I realized I’m not the only one with life issues, and if we just tell our testimonies and not be afraid, we can all help one another get through life until we go home.”

As far as this amazing author is concerned, that literally goes without saying.

Hurricane Ike gives way to Texas entrepreneur Dr. Shantuan Coleman Taylor organizing Home Staging Lens

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES DR. SHANTUAN COLEMAN

DALLAS — For Dr. Shantuan Coleman Taylor, September 13, 2008 was the day that changed her life.

For practically the rest of her life.

“I lived near where it hit landed,” Dr. Taylor recalled.

That about which she’s alluding is Hurricane Ike, a powerful tropical cyclone that swept through portions of the Greater Antilles and Northern America, wreaking havoc on infrastructure and agriculture, most notably in Cuba and Texas.

Having resided approximately 40 miles from the shore in Houston, Dr. Taylor’s home was inundated with four feet of water.

A TRUE TREND SETTER — Amongst the reasons Dr. Shantuan Taylor was fortunate to recover from the devastating damage caused by Hurricane Ike is due in large to her bend-but-don’t-break faith, which had ultimately given way to her organizing Home Staging Lens.

“I evacuated prior to the flooding of my home, but upon her return I was devastated by what I saw,” Dr. Taylor told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “The house was flooded. I had holes in the roof, broken windows, and the smell of a destructive storm throughout my house.”

Still, despite a natural disaster that strengthened to a peak intensity as a Category 4 and claimed at least 195 lives, Dr. Taylor somehow managed to discover a silver lining in the wake of a such a life changing occurrence.

“I was blessed. Many others were not,” Dr. Taylor explained. “The (home) had flood insurance. In order to put my house back together, I redesigned the floor plan, totally remodeling the structure and rebuilt it and fell back in love with my house. It was much better than when I originally built it.”

Amongst the reasons Dr. Taylor was fortunate to recover from the devastating damage caused by Hurricane Ike is due in large to her bend-but-don’t-break faith, which had ultimately given way to her organizing Home Staging Lens.

A progressive, resourceful business she started while collaborating with Kevin Peterson of Zilla Builders, LLC, these entrepreneurs had eventually incorporated Dr. Taylor’s lofty ideas, thus bringing her vision to life.

The rest, as they say, was history.

Having made landfall on September 13, 2008, Hurricane Ike was a powerful tropical cyclone that swept through portions of the Greater Antilles and Northern America, wreaking havoc on infrastructure and agriculture, most notably in Cuba and Texas.

“Zilla Builders liked her work so much, they subcontracted the design work to her and used her home as a model to woo other potential customers,” said a spokesperson for Home Staging Lens in a detailed synopsis of this venture at http://www.homestaginglens.com. “This partnership was very lucrative.”

Since the startup of Home Staging Lens, Dr. Taylor has enjoyed an array of sustained success.

This, much to her delight, is indicative of how God could miraculously turn tragedies into much-anticipated triumphs.

BUT GOD — Still, despite a natural disaster that strengthened to a peak intensity as a Category 4 and claimed at least 195 lives, Dr. Taylor somehow managed to discover a silver lining to such a life changing occurrence.

“I turned a bedroom into a walk-in luxury closet with pedestal dresser, shelving for shoes, boots, belts, jewelry, display cabinets, and garment casings,” said Dr. Taylor, recalling some of her grandest highlights as the face of Home Staging Lens. “I remodeled my game room into a three-tier media room, equipped with starlight ceiling, surround sound, a theatre room reclining chair, a theatre room columns, and built my TV, lighting, and speakers in the walls. I laid wood flooring throughout the house with the exception of the bedrooms and bathrooms.”

When asked what she likes mostly about her business, Dr. Taylor said, “It brings out my creativity. I like the transformation and the awareness in the eyes of my clients during the makeover reveal.”

Now we know why, especially amid September 13, 2008, the day that changed her life.

For practically the rest of her life.

Houston-area businesswoman Valerie Barrett bolts Corporate America, starts a ‘hidden gem’ that is Massage By Design

DALLAS — Did you know there is a hidden gem housed in the suburbs of Houston’s Metroplex that’s centered largely on increasing relaxation, alleviating pain, and managing the hustle and bustle of everyday life?

DESTINY STEPS — Alabama native Valerie Barrett is the mastermind behind Massage By Design at 25132 Oakhurst Rd, Suite 125, a Spring, Texas-based establishment where customers can savor luxurious massages at an affordable rate, as owner and CEO Valerie Barrett told Making Headline News during a recent interview.

In case you haven’t heard of it, it’s called Massage By Design at 25132 Oakhurst Rd, Suite 125, a Spring, Texas-based establishment where customers can savor luxurious massages at an affordable rate, as owner and CEO Valerie Barrett told Making Headline News during a recent interview.

An accomplished licensed massage therapist who comes to the Houston area by way of Boligee, Alabama — a rural town in the historic Greene County near Tuscaloosa that’s comprised of roughly 328 residents, according to the latest U. S. census — Massage By Design is where Barrett routinely “practices my passion,” she often says.

To her credit, the prelude to practicing her passion, coupled with basking in her element began after Barrett bolted the Corporate America sector and was destined to step out on faith by delving off into this ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship.

Having officially become a licensed massage therapist in 2013, Barrett wasted little time starting her own business, one that’s geared toward aiding consumers to improve and maintain their overall physical and spiritual wellness.

Interestingly, Massage By Design is widely known as a multi-modality massage practice, where Barrett provides therapeutic massage for relaxation and pain management.

“She brings years of experience and a lifetime of compassion to her practice,” said a spokesperson in a detailed description of Barrett’s business at http://valsmassagebydesign.com/.

IT IS WELL — Having officially become a licensed massage therapist in 2013, Barrett wasted little time starting her own business, one that geared toward aiding consumers to improve and maintain their overall physical and spiritual wellness.

Moreover, since the startup of Massage By Design, Barrett has been afforded the golden opportunity to contract with a local retirement community, whereby she customarily provides massage therapy to its residents.

In addition, she routinely provides massage therapy to riders of the MS150, and has been a guest massage therapist for ZaSpa (Hotel ZaZa) which, to her credit, has given way to her being dubbed a “highly sought after and requested massage therapist” at the Spa at the Waterway (widely known as the Woodlands Marriott Hotel).

MORE ON MASSAGE BY DESIGN: http://valsmassagebydesign.com/

TEAM BARRETT — By and large, Barrett attributes the sustained success of Massage By Design to the unyielding support of her husband, Jimmie Barrett Jr., who, she acknowledges has always been one of her strongest supporters, coupled with the support of her “amazing children.”

“I want to be the change, a difference maker, and an influencer of change by providing a quality therapeutic massage at an affordable price,” said Barrett, explaining her primary mission for functioning in her divine purpose while alluding to  Deuteronomy 28:12. “My belief is that our bodies were designed to heal itself with proper care, nutrition, exercise, plus rest and relaxation through massage.”

By and large, Barrett attributes much of her sustained entrepreneurship success to the unyielding support of her husband, Jimmie Barrett Jr., whom she acknowledges has always been one of her strongest supporters, coupled with the support of her “amazing children.”

Today, unlike never before, Barrett can truly profess that she’s walking in the purpose for which God created her.

“Naturally, I was inspired by my parents but especially my mother, who is still a small business owner,” said Valerie Barrett, adding that her business is presently booking clients for her annual Valentines Couples Massage Package as well as her newly-implemented Rewards Program, its Design Your Own Massage Package, and its Cellulitis Destroyer. “I was also inspired by my oldest daughter and several close friends who are also small business owners and my son, whom I respect deeply because of his kind heart and his strength to persevere.”

Interestingly, Barrett certainly boasts the credentials needed to dwell and function in her element as one of Houston’s most efficient licensed massage therapists.

For starters, the Houston Klein Forest High alum is a product of Phoenix Massage School in the greater Houston metropolitan area as well as studied at nearby LoneStar Community College.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER — Interestingly, Barrett certainly boasts the credentials needed to dwell and function in her element as one of Houston’s most efficient licensed massage therapists. For starters, the Houston Klein Forest High alum is a product of Phoenix Massage School in the greater Houston metropolitan area as well as studied at nearby LoneStar Community College.

With close ties to Memphis, where she attended a few years of high school before relocating to Texas, Barrett studied in Seminary School at Houston’s Immanuel Temple School Of The Bible, where she earned an undergraduate degree in Divinity.

All things considered, her continuous success as an accomplished, progressive businesswoman has come full circle, in large part because she was compelled to step out on faith by vacating Corporate America.

The rest, as they say, was history.

“I was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and influenced by my parents,” Barrett said. “My mom and dad owned a small cafe back home in Alabama, and the burgers were the talk of the town. Also, like many others, my job was being eliminated in Corporate America, so I decided to make a career change. I wanted to move into a field that allowed me to make a tangible difference and massage was the catalyst.”

Today, unlike never before, Barrett can truly profess that she’s walking in the purpose for which God created her.

ALL GOD’S DOING — All things considered, Barrett’s continuous success as an accomplished, progressive businesswoman has come full circle, in large part because she was compelled to step out on faith by vacating Corporate America. The rest, as they say, was history.

Which, of course, like her successful business venture, was all by design from the outset.

“I want all — especially teen parents — to know that you don’t have to be a victim of your circumstances,” Barrett said. “There is a winner within. I believe Rudy T (Former Houston Rockets head coach Rudy Tomjanovich) once said, ‘Never underestimate the heart of a champion.’ Those are words to live by.

“I had the greatest parents and they were the village that helped to rear my daughter,” Barrett added. “Over 32 years ago, I was a teen mom and today, I am a successful business owner and so is my daughter. My ultimate goal is to start a nonprofit to help teen parents in the near future.”

Talk about a true, big-hearted hidden gem, one who has gone to great lengths to make her dreams a reality.

Houston-based Optimum Security Professionals devising ways to enhance branding in 2018, beyond

DALLAS — In many cases, at the turn of a new calendar or fiscal year comes a number of changes for most businesses, especially those in its respective infancy stages.

Such is the case for Optimum Security Professionals, a Houston-based business that, to its credit, is steadily making favorable strides since its much-anticipated inception in May 2015.

Now with 2018 effectively underway and OSP approaching three full years of having opened for operations, greater trends are on the horizon, mostly the company’s plans of expanding as it pertains to branding.

“We recognize that in order to standout we must make research and develop a top priority,” Optimum Security Professionals President Marshall D. Isom told Making Headline News this week. “So our executive staff travels across the country, attending conferences and seminars to stay abreast of the latest security technologies and strategies.”

Interestingly and much to OSP’s delight, the company deemed it essential some time ago to use an internationally-acclaimed Fortune 500 company as a model, of sorts, particularly as it relates to enhancing its brand by way of fortifying solid customer service.

“We’ve borrowed a page from Chick-fil-A’s hiring process by focusing on recruiting individuals who are outgoing, friendly, and goal oriented team players,” Isom explained.

Also, OSP has gone to great lengths to building a solid working rapport with what company officials described as a “nationally recognized security officer training program” to ensure that its officers’ competency levels exceed those of its competitors.

Talk about having a continuous massive and strategically effective impact when it comes to branding.

“Having the best uniforms in the industry remains at the top of our priority list,” said Isom, whose company — because of its solid overall body of work — has garnered an assortment of rave reviews via Google and various social media message boards.

MAKING MAJOR STRIDES — OSP became the beneficiary of both MBE and HUB Certifications in 2017 and, according to President Marshall D. Isom, the company is presently applying for DBE Certification this year. “We are working on a marketing campaign that includes TV and radio commercials, print media ads, and a number of sponsorships, as well plans for an annual scholarship award,” Isom said.

“This year has also presented us with the opportunity to buy a security academy, which will allow us to recruit and certify armed, unarmed officers, and bodyguards through establishing relationships with local universities, community colleges and even high schools,” Isom said.

Also, OSP was a finalist for the Greater Houston Black Chamber 2017 Pinnacle Award, and the company is applying for membership in the Texas Building Owners and Managers Association, Greater Houston Partnership and The National Federation of Independent Business, not to mention partnering with a number of local chamber associations.

“I would also like to meet Robert F. Smith, Chairman of Vista Equity Partners,” Isom said.

STEP ABOVE THE REST — “We are working on a marketing campaign that includes TV and radio commercials, print media ads, and a number of sponsorships, as well plans for an annual scholarship award,” Isom said.

As for amongst some key goals and objectives OSP aspires to execute in 2018 and beyond, Isom said the company is appropriately devising ways to capture what he labels “a greater share” of the Houston Metropolitan market by participating in city, county and state bids, he said.

Moreover, plans are currently in the works to expand to the San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and the Midland markets beginning in the first quarter of 2019, Isom emphasized.

“This year has also presented us with the opportunity to buy a security academy, which will allow us to recruit and certify armed, unarmed officers, and bodyguards through establishing relationships with local universities, community colleges and even high schools,” Isom said.

SIGN OF THINGS TO COME — As for amongst some key goals and objectives OSP aspires to execute in 2018 and beyond, Isom said the company is appropriately devising ways to capture what he labels “a greater share” of the Houston Metropolitan market by participating in city, county and state bids, he said.

As always, devising ways to expand is extremely key, Isom hinted.

“We hope to breakthrough in the commercial real estate and banking markets this year,” he said. “There are several locally-owned and operated properties that target small and local companies such as ours to serve as vendors. It is our goal to identify those businesses and become first mind to their key decision makers.”It’s a personal goal of company President Marshall to lunch with Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta, Gallery Furniture owner Mattress Mack and Robert F. Smith, Chairman of Vista Equity Partners this year.”

Talk about having a continuous massive and strategically effective impact when it comes to branding.

Houston entrepreneur Marshall D. Isom’s Optimum Security Professionals enjoying rapid growth in North and South Texas

DALLAS — As far as starting a business goes, it’s safe to assume that Marshall D. Isom undoubtedly has learned from the best, some pretty fine individuals, if you will.

TEXAS SIZE IMPACT — Armed with a wealth of business-related experience and wisdom, Houston businessman Marshall D. Isom, by all accounts, have done a masterful job in filling the shoes of his beloved relatives, most notably as Chairman, President, and CEO of President of Optimum Security Professionals.

For starters, Isom’s late great grandfather, Leon Kiser, for years had owned a neighborhood corner store.

As if that wasn’t enough to fuel his competitive entrepreneurship drive, his late grandmother, Cleethal Kiser, was widely known for catering lunches at her job while working as an accomplished welder.

Not only that, Isom’s grandmother upon retirement had owned a real estate investment firm and his father owned a slew of vending machines throughout the city while his mother owned a local bed linen shop.

All things considered and much to his delight, finding a niche through entrepreneurship essentially had become a way of life, of sorts, at least through Isom’s bloodline, a trend about which he’s fully embraced throughout the years.

“Being a business owner is first nature,” Isom, 39, said during an interview with Making Headline News this week. “They are my role models. I’m just following their lead.”

Armed with a wealth of business-related experience and wisdom, Isom, by all accounts, have done a masterful job in filling the shoes of his beloved relatives, most notably as President of Optimum Security Professionals and Chairman and CEO of The Proverbs Group, LLC.

WORK OF ART — A security-based company that has become a fixture in both Houston and Dallas, Isom — because of his venture’s sustained success — often describes the vital responsibilities associated with his company as a form of art.

A credible security firm that is headquartered in Houston, specifically at 1980 Post Oak Blvd, Suite 1500, in the Post Oak Central complex, Optimum Security Professionals’ longstanding mission is geared largely toward providing customer service oriented protection, which is the process of preventing the loss of life, property, or injury by strategically combining traditional aspects of guard services, most notably surveillance, client/guest engagement, crisis management, as well as patrolling with the skill and attitude of delivering helpful, professional, high quality assistance.

WHAT ABOUT OPTIMUM SECURITY PROFRESSIONALS? http://optimumsecuritypros.com/about-us/

Interestingly, in a detailed description of OSP’s mission the company’s website, Isom’s company recognizes that in order to achieve its mission, it must:

  • Recruit and retain the most qualified agents in the industry.
  • Provide our agents with a continuing education program that employs the most current technology and protection techniques available and,
  • Continually monitor the national and international socio-political environment to develop our services in an efficient manner.

A security-based company that is powered by The Proverbs Group, LLC  and has become a fixture in both Houston and Dallas, Isom — because of his venture’s sustained success — often describes the vital responsibilities associated with his company as a form of art.

“It’s an expression of what I envisioned, (which is) an outlet,” said Isom, who’s also Co-Principal of Cruise Control Valet, a Houston-based parking management company that has been in existence for 12 years. “I create through doing business. I see it as my contribution to life, one of my footprints. I love being able to provide employment opportunities, seeing our employees thrive and solving our clients’ problems.”

By and large, the key to OSP’s continuous success is the people with whom Isom and his staff routinely cross paths.

“We protect property, so we cater to a wide range of businesses such as office buildings, schools, shopping centers, manufacturing and distribution facilities, hospitals, hotels, construction sites, banks, etc.,” Isom explained. “We also provide personal protection for high profile-high net worth individuals such as influencers, performing artists, executives and athletes. In addition to protection services, we are a private investigation firm with a niche in vulnerability assessments and loss prevention.”

WHAT ABOUT CRUISE CONTROL VALET? www.cruisecontrolvalet.com

Most importantly, Isom doesn’t shy away from the notion that his company would not have such unyielding success if not for the valiant contributions rendered by his wife, Shaunta,’ and their three children.

“My greatest inspirations are my wife, Shaunta’, and our three children,” Isom said. “I want our kids to stand on generations of tall shoulders, feel pride in their lineage, and be certain of their future. I want my wife to have anything she wants.”

SUSTAINED SUCCESS — A credible security firm that is headquartered in Houston, specifically at 1980 Post Oak Blvd, Suite 1500, in the Post Oak Central complex, Optimum Security Professionals’ longstanding mission is geared largely toward providing customer service oriented protection, which is the process of preventing the loss of life, property, or injury by strategically combining traditional aspects of guard services, most notably surveillance, client/guest engagement, crisis management, as well as patrolling with the skill and attitude of delivering helpful, professional, high quality assistance.

As the new year approaches, OSP, as expected, is making a solid case that it figures to be around for years to come, in large part because Isom announced that adding more office throughout Texas are presently in the works and is expected to be completed as early as 2021.

“We currently operate locally in the Houston Metroplex and are planning expansion in Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, El Paso and Midland,” Isom said of what has become a rapidly growing company.

Never mind that OSP is only two years old.

All things considered and much to his delight, finding a niche through entrepreneurship essentially had become a way of life, at least through Isom’s bloodline, a trend about which he’s fully embraced throughout the years.

South Carolina minister Evangelist Evelyn Murray Drayton starts a flourishing ministry amid near-death automobile accident

SHE’S STILL STANDING — A native of Mullins, a city in Marion County, South Carolina that is comprised of a population of around 4,663 according to the 2010 census, Evangelist Evelyn Murray Drayton is the Founder of Evelyn Murray Drayton Ministries, LLC, a Georgetown, South Carolina-based venture she organized amid arguably the darkest chapter of her life.

Just recently, Evelyn Murray Drayton deemed it essential to assess the overall landscape of her life.

Much to her delight, such a notable analysis came wrapped in the gift that is a life-changing testimony, of sorts.

Here’s how it all unfolded some time in June 2013.

“While attending a friend’s church service, a minister told me that my ministry would change after 47 days,” Drayton explained during an exclusive interview with Making Headline News.

Consequently, what had ultimately transpired hours later not only sent shock waves throughout Drayton’s family and amongst those who have come to greatly adore her but, most of all, it practically served as a precursor, of sorts, to the birthing of the divine calling for which God created her.

SPIRITUALLY GUT-CHECKING MOMENT — Having being involved in a devastating automobile accident in June 2013, doctors informed Drayton’s husband that she had only a 50/50 chance of recovering from what was ruled a life-threatening head-on collision.

Having being involved in a devastating automobile accident, doctors informed Drayton’s husband there was only a 50/50 chance of her recovering from what was ruled a life-threatening head-on collision.

According to the doctor’s prognosis, in fact, Drayton had suffered brain hemorrhaging, collapsed lungs, trachea installation, broken ribs, a broken back and pelvis, lacerated liver, a damaged knee, and a broken leg, a series of gruesome injuries that seemed all to insurmountable to overcome.

All things considered, though, a rather dramatic and ironic sequence of events had eventually surfaced on the way to Drayton’s much-anticipated startup of her ministry.

According to the doctor’s prognosis, Drayton had suffered brain hemorrhaging, collapsed lungs, trachea installation, broken ribs, a broken back and pelvis, lacerated liver, a damaged knee, and a broken leg, a series of injuries that seem all to insurmountable to overcome.

“I couldn’t walk or talk,” Drayton said. “I was released from the hospital, wearing a back brace and in a wheelchair on the 47th day and, as the prophet stated, my ministry has turned around. Today, I can scream. I can run around the church and dance, knowing it is the grace and mercy of God that I am still alive.”

A little more than four years removed what undoubtedly was a “But God” encounter, Drayton doesn’t shy away from the notion that she has every reason in the world to sell out wholeheartedly to Almighty God.

Every single chance she gets.

“My outlook on life has changed,” said Drayton whom, while during the recovery process amid the accident, surprisingly drove herself to and from therapy months later. “I know God is our healer. I know that God wants us to activate our faith and use the power and authority that He has given us through His word.”

To her credit, Drayton is steadfastly exercising her God-orchestrated power and authority in ways unimaginable — a trend that is steadily advancing the kingdom in ways unimaginable.

A native of Mullins, a rural establishment in Marion County, South Carolina that is comprised of a population of around 4,663, according to the latest U. S. census, Drayton is the Founder of Evelyn Murray Drayton Ministries, LLC, a Georgetown, South Carolina-based ministry she organized amid arguably the darkest chapter of her life.

“Ministry has always been a challenge for me,” said Drayton, who comes from a family of what she describes as a number of ministers. “Many of my family members are of different faiths. I also had to overcome the rebuke from people who do not even believe that God can use women in ministry. Although I have more family support now, most of my early support came through people unrelated to me, whom I believe were divinely placed in my life to help me to be where I am today.”

Interestingly, Drayton, who’s responsible for having recorded several songs, has authored eight inspirational books, most notably “I Had to Die Exposing Witchcraft In the Church,” and her most recent book entitled, “Anything’s Possible: The 47-Day Prophecy” — both of which she said are her most popular written documents.

Having grown up without the presence of her mother, who died when she was a young girl, Drayton was raised by her grandparents whom, as she tells it, reared her in a God-fearing home.

That, after all, wasn’t such a bad thing, given the immeasurable strides she’s made in her present ministry.

WHAT ABOUT EVELYN DRAYTON? www.EvelynDrayton.org

“They taught me to trust in the Lord, to be a hard worker, and to never give up,” Drayton, explaining her beloved grandparents’ impact on her rise in ministry. “As my faith grew, I was able to overcome many obstacles and strongholds that seemingly held me in captivity. I couldn’t give up.”

And because of Drayton’s solid, Christian-based upbringing that was centered on Biblical principles, it’s safe to assume that she has appropriately found her niche as a longtime licensed evangelist.

For starters, her Christian-based journey began at House of God Miracle Temple, a ministry that was founded by Apostle Ocelia Blue of Miami. Consequently, Drayton was officially ordained by the late Apostle Blue, who launched a Miracle Temple campus in South Carolina’s Davis Station Community.

Long before Drayton endured her near-death experience, she sensed that God was strategically positioning her for ministry while in her early 20’s.

“I experienced ups and downs and didn’t feel worthy to be called a minister of the Gospel,” Drayton recalled. “Thank God for grace and mercy that sustained me as I applied God’s word. The prophetic voice, dreams and visions were instruments God used to help me.”

Today, her ministry and spiritual gifts have attracted a national presence, in large because of Drayton’s constant exposure and unorthodox approach to impacting God’s people.

BUT GOD — A little more than four years removed what undoubtedly was a “But God” encounter, Drayton doesn’t shy away from the notion that she has every reason in the world to sell out wholeheartedly to Almighty God.

For instance, she has appeared on several blog talk and radio shows, most notably the Stellar Award-winning “All Nations Radio.”

In addition, she has appeared on several television shows, including TV 57 in Norcross, Georgia, Atlanta Live, the Tracey Wells Show, the Grave Digger Show, as well as Babbie Mason’s show called Babbie’s House.

Also, Drayton has appeared on WGGS in North Augusta, as well as the Preach The Word Worldwide Network in Tallahassee, Florida, and has graced the cover of a variety of print media outlets.

LOOK AT HER NOW — Because of Drayton’s solid, Christian-based upbringing that was centered on Biblical principles, it’s safe to assume that she has appropriately found her niche as a longtime licensed evangelist.

After what she describes as a slew of ministry setbacks, Drayton is especially appreciative of her television show called “Tell Somebody,” which airs on the MFTN Television Network (and at www.mftnnetwork.com).

“I invite guests to share my platform to tell somebody about the goodness and faithfulness of God,” Drayton said. They share their testimonies and minister how the Word of God, when applied, impacts our everyday lives in an awesome way.”

Much like she does virtually every time an opportunity arises.

Who can blame her, especially after the near-death encounter that changed the overall landscape of her life back in June 2013.

Houston-area businessman Graylen Houston’s 360 Tax Group becoming a fixture throughout Texas, other U. S. states

HEAD OF THE CLASS — A longtime Houston-area businessman, Graylen Houston is the owner and chief executive officer of 360 Tax Group. For Houston, 42, his business venture has become a fixture in throughout Houston’s massive Metroplex, in large part because his firm provides outstanding and efficient service to its clients, a trend that is steadfastly prevalent to its three underlying principles: Professionalism, Responsiveness, And Quality.

DALLAS — For Graylen Houston, this week started off with a rather favorable act of kindness rendered by a total stranger.

Take, for instance, Houston’s intriguing Facebook post shortly after 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Said Houston before his 1,000-plus social Facebook friends: Dropped my wallet somewhere today. Someone picked it up and turned it in to the police. There are still good people out there.

All things considered, a good deed certainly came back to Houston, in large part because his reputation is such that he a is pretty good guy, especially as it pertains to helping enrich and enhance the lives of others.

For Houston, 42, his business venture has become a fixture throughout Houston’s massive Metroplex, in large part because his firm provides outstanding and efficient service to its clients, a trend that is steadfastly prevalent to its three underlying principles: Professionalism, Responsiveness, And Quality.

Located at 2306 Texas Parkway in Houston outskirts of Missouri City, Texas, 360 Tax Group specializes mainly in tax preparation and mortgage sales.

CHECK OUT 360 TAX GROUP: http://www.360taxgroup.com/

“I created my business to act as a financial community center,” Houston told Making Headline News this week. “We are designed to not just provide tax and mortgage services, but to also improve the financial lives of our clients and community.”

By and large, Houston doesn’t shy away from the notion that there is one notable reason that he had become greatly inspired to start the type of business about which he oversees.

Interestingly, he contends it had virtually nothing to do with a competitive drive, of sorts.

“What propelled me is my desire to help people,” Houston explained. “I have a sincere desire to help people with their finances.”

To grasp a thorough understanding of why Houston has become committed to starting up a venture whereby he is afforded the golden opportunity daily to aid others, look no further than his upbringing in his native establishment of Chicago.

Houston and his family once resided in Chicago’s inner city Cabrini Green, a public housing project located on the near North Side of Chicago.

Houston and his family once resided in Chicago’s inner city Cabrini Green, a public housing project located on the near North Side of Chicago.

The historic housing project was constructed in 1942 and was eventually demolished in 2011.

“I grew up poor and struggled to overcome that condition…as such I want to help people to do the same and change negative generational financial patterns,” Houston said of his primary mission as a thriving resourceful businessman.

To his credit, Houston certainly boasts the qualifications to run and manage a business that continues to make favorable strides in Houston and the surrounding areas.

A proud graduate of Rich Central High that is located in Olympia Fields, Illinois,

RAISING THE BAR — Houston eventually advanced his education and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Chicago’s prestigious DePaul University.

Houston eventually advanced his education and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Chicago’s prestigious DePaul University.

What’s even more astounding for a business about which its best and brightest days are well ahead of it is that 360 Tax Group is especially accommodating to minorities, most notably African-Americans and Hispanics ranging in ages 25-to-45.

“But we service all demographics,” Houston specifically emphasized. “What I love about my business is that my kids and other young people have the opportunity to see my success and see themselves in me.”

What’s even more astounding for a business about which its best and brightest days are well ahead of it is that 360 Tax Groups is especially accommodating to minorities, most notably African-Americans and Hispanics ranging in ages 25-to-45.

Much to Houston’s delight, 360 Tax Group is starting to have a viable presence in establishments outside of the Lone Star State, particularly in Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, and New York.

“My mission is to grow this business and pass it on to my children,” Houston said.

As for who were amongst those who have inspired him to maximize his full entrepreneurship potential, well, so that he would not offend anyone, Houston elected not to disclose names.

“I was inspired by a huge swarm of people,” said Houston, whom along with his staff, took part in community-related activities in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. “I took what I needed from people. Mostly, I was inspired by the birth of my first child.  When she was born, I knew I had to get serious about my life.”

Nowadays, it’s all about passing on his assortment of life lessons and knowledge to future generations.

One person at a time.

“So many times in my life, I wanted to give up on my dreams and beliefs,” Houston said. “I didn’t have a whole lot of support from people encouraging me and pushing me forward. Now I make it a point to give to people what I wished for but didn’t get. Additionally, I believe ‘a rising tide raises all boats,’ so by pouring into others, I benefit myself, my family and my loved ones.”

“What propelled me is my desire to help people,” Houston explained. “I have a sincere desire to help people with their finances.”

And he wonders why his week had started off with a rather favorable act of kindness rendered by a total stranger.

All things considered, a good deed certainly came back to Houston, in large part because his reputation is such that he is pretty good guy, especially as it pertains to helping enhance the lives of others.

Houston businesswoman Kimberly Barrow impacting lives, fulfilling her long-awaited dream as owner of medical clinic

WALKING IN HER PURPOSE — At the tender age of 32, Kimberly Barrow is owner and chief executive officer of Kimberly Cares, LLC — a Houston-based family health clinic that was created by following her stint as a registered nurse that spanned nearly a decade. Located at 5751 Blythewood Suite, 700 in Houston, Kimberly Cares’ primary mission is geared largely toward assisting families without adequate access to affordable health care.

DALLAS — As the old catchphrase goes, “They do things big in Texas.”

Even as a native Floridian, accomplished 32-year-old medical professional Kimberly Barrow, MSN, APRN, NP-C has embrace this notion wholeheartedly.

“I was driven by a need to fill the void in our communities by creating a care model that is more personal and affordable,” Barrow, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said while explaining her competitive drive for delving off in the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship. “I like the autonomy I have as a solo provider.”

The independence to which Barrow is alluding is her well-established business as owner and chief executive officer of Kimberly Cares, LLC, a Houston-based family health clinic that was created following her notable stint as a registered nurse, a tenure that spanned nearly a decade.

Located at 5751 Blythewood Suite, 700 in Houston, Kimberly Cares’ primary mission is geared largely toward assisting families without adequate access to affordable health care.

“For many, it is the difference between groceries or a $150 clinic visit,” said a spokesperson for Kimberly Cares, LLC under a detailed description of Barrow’s newly-established clinic at http://www.kcaresmore.com.

THIS IS WHERE IT’S HAPPENING — “For many, it is the difference between groceries or a $150 clinic visit,” said a spokesperson for Kimberly Cares, LLC under a detailed description of her business at http://www.kcaresmore.com.

Which, as a result, essentially sums up why Barrow has emphasized that her target patient populations are uninsured children and adults, college students, and small business owners, just to name a few.

“I am not consumed by the financial politics or motivations of corporate medicine,” said Barrow, who is credentialed through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program and is a member of several other professional organizations. “Instead, I am able to provide access to basic health services at a rate that most everyone can afford, which has a direct impact on the welfare and quality of life for the people in my community.”

WHAT ABOUT KIMBERLY CARES? www.kcaresmore.com

To her uniquely distinct credit, Barrow certainly boasts the credentials and educational mechanics to function and dwell in the divine purpose for which God has created her.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Barrow earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from The University of Central Florida. Consequently, she advanced her education by earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health and Science Center in Houston — further proving why they do things big in Texas.

SHE CALLED IT — “I (had) always planned to have my own practice,” said Barrow, when asked who inspired her to enter entrepreneurship through her area of study. “I grew up in a single parent household with four siblings and very limited resources.”

“I (had) always planned to have my own practice,” said Barrow, when asked who inspired her to enter entrepreneurship through her selected area of study. “I grew up in a single parent household with four siblings and very limited resources.”

As it turned out, it seemed that was the motivation she needed to diligently working toward making her dream a reality.

To her credit, Barrow has assumed the business owner label for a little more than eight months. And given the immense strides she’s made since opening her very own medical practice, it’s safe to assume that Kimberly Cares, LLC’s best and brightest days are well of ahead of it.

“We didn’t have health insurance because of the cost,” Barrow said of her upbringing. “Also, as fairly new RN, I found myself in a situation where I was expecting a baby without health coverage or the ability to qualify for private health plan. It was a struggle to the say the least, but I had a mother that was business savvy and always focused on being self-sufficient, so that’s where I was first exposed to the importance of business ownership.”

The rest, as they say, was history.

AWWWWWWW — A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Barrow earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from The University of Central Florida. Consequently, she advanced her education by earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health and Science Center in Houston — further proving why they do things big in Texas.

“Adequate representation, especially for the youth in our community is essential,” said Barrow, explaining why it is essential to esteem others daily through her business venture and purpose. “I have a non-traditional appearance as far as corporate America and this American culture in general is concerned. I need other young, minority women to know that they too can own no matter how society perceives us a people.

“If we can own more businesses and begin to re-invest and create jobs in our communities, we can become our own solution to many of the problems that plague our communities.”

Remarkably and well stated.

Talk about doing things big in Texas.

Texas Author/Evangelist Christi Henderson advancing the kingdom mightily through her awe-inspiring book

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NIV)

KEEPING IT REAL IN THE KINGDOM — A native of nearby Fort Worth, Texas, Christi Henderson is the mastermind by the awe-inspiring and life-altering book entitled, “Unmasking The Pain: Overcoming The Spirit Of Rejection.” An informative, tear-jerking, spiritually-gut-checking written document she began composing in 2013, Henderson’s “Unmasking The Pain: Overcoming The Spirit Of Rejection” recalls a variety of what she describes as transparency of tests, trials and temptations, most notably her proverbial marked journey to Christ.

ARLINGTON, Texas — If there is one attribute for which Christi Henderson is widely known, it is this:

She is one who is determined to view life’s toughest of obstacles from God’s perspective.

All things considered, the spirit of rejection essentially tops the list.

To her credit, not only does Henderson exemplifies the spirit of one who demonstrates faith through her flourishing and internationally-acclaimed ministry but, nowadays, she has become a fixture for devising ways to inspire the masses to exercise their faith through the ever-so-competitive world of authorship.

A native of nearby Fort Worth, Texas, Henderson is the mastermind by the awe-inspiring and life-altering book entitled, “Unmasking The Pain: Overcoming The Spirit Of Rejection.”

An informative, tear-jerking, spiritually-gut-checking written document she began composing in 2013 and is available at Amazon.com, Henderson’s “Unmasking The Pain: Overcoming The Spirit Of Rejection” recalls a variety of what she describes as transparency of tests as well as a slew of trials and temptations, most notably her proverbial marked journey to Christ.

According to Henderson, the Founder of Christi Henderson Ministries, such tumultuous, chaotic occurrences greatly underscored her conviction to go to great lengths to share with others that Jesus is not only a Restorer. Rather, He is a Healer and a Deliverer Whose boundless love is able to sustain us through our otherwise unbearable pain.

“I want people to know that they can overcome rejection and live a life of true happiness and acceptance,” Henderson, a longtime licensed evangelist and preacher of the Gospel, told Making Headline News this week.

WAIT…THERE’S MORE — Here’s a bonus for those who admittedly couldn’t put down Henderson’s latest written document: A second version will find its way to the market at some point in the foreseeable future. “I have a Part 2 that will allow the readers stay free of the mask,” Henderson said.

For what it’s worth, Henderson’s “Unmasking The Pain: Overcoming The Spirit Of Rejection” had first emerged in her spirit some time in December 2012, during which God had strategically spoke to her through Apostle Kimberly Daniels, whom Henderson said preached at her home church. Consequently, Apostle Daniels had suddenly prophesied to Henderson, informing her that the Lord commanded that she tell of her story, only this time from a much more broader platform.

The rest, as they say, was history.

That’s because not only did Henderson — this uniquely dressed woman of beauty — catch the vision to assemble a book that would greatly impact lives but, most importantly, she took that God-endorsed vision and ran with it.

CHANGING A GENERATION — For what it’s worth, Henderson’s “Unmasking The Pain: Overcoming The Spirit Of Rejection” had first emerged in her spirit some time in December 2012, during which God had strategically spoke to her through Apostle Kimberly Daniels, whom Henderson said preached at her home church, where she suddenly had prophesied to her that the Lord commanded that she tell of her story — but only from a much more broader platform.

Look at her today, empowering and impacting lives and, most of all, helping steer others to Christ through a remarkably brilliant book that has literally caught the Body of Christ by storm, given the array of favorable feedback she’s garnered.

“I have many people to contact me after reading the book to tell me that when they started reading the book it was hard to put it down,” Henderson said. “I’ve had some to tell me by reading the book, they now see rejection can be broken off their lives.”

Amongst the reasons Henderson has managed to advance the kingdom through her book is due in large part to her willingness to fortify transparency to her reading audience.

“I believe God allowed me to go through rejection and hurt so that I would be able to help others overcome and be healed completely,” Henderson explained.

What’s even more astounding is that Henderson’s “Unmasking The Pain: Overcoming The Spirit Of Rejection” is become a spiritual win-win situation, of sorts, for all who have come to embrace this compelling book.

“It has birth a ministry of deliverance out of me and I’m able identify that spirit on others,” Henderson said.

KEEPING IT 100 — Amongst the reasons Henderson has managed to advance the kingdom through her book is due in large part to her willingness to fortify transparency to her reading audience.

And here’s a bonus for those who admittedly couldn’t put down Henderson’s latest written document: A second version will find its way on the market at some point in the foreseeable future.

“I have a Part 2 that will allow the readers stay free of the mask,” Henderson said.

A few days removed from having hosting her annual “Unmasking the Pain Women’s Conference,” Henderson’s itinerary is starting to expand, considering she has been extended invites to share of her emotional testimonies at a slew of institutions, appearances that will also include various workshops.

GOD’S ENLARGING HER TERRITORY — A few days removed from having hosting her annual “Unmasking the Pain Women’s Conference,” Henderson’s itinerary is starting to expand, considering she has been extended invites to share of her emotional testimonies at a slew of churches, appearances that will also include various workshops.

In addition, those sessions will be coupled with what she describes as series of her book, during which she will address rejection and all of the spirits that are attached to it, most notably fear, abandonment, and insecurity, among other dreaded and discomforting issues.

“I would just say if you read this book, you’ll know that if God delivered me from such strongholds, He can deliver you from whatever issues you struggle with in your life,” said Henderson while alluding to the familiar Biblical passage that is housed in John 8:36. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
