Tampa businesswoman Jenelle Harris’ She EXIST organization steadily attracting more of a national presence

EXISTING WITH A PURPOSE

MISSION UNFOLDING — A Tampa, Florida-based mental health and business corporation, Jenelle Harris’ She EXIST’s mission is centered largely on ministering on what Harris refers to as “The Power of Her Testimony.”

DALLAS — Jenelle Harris would be the first to admit that she undoubtedly has a heart for women of various walks of life.

So much, in fact, that she’s established a notable platform that is centered largely on helping women to discover the best version of themselves.

“(I love) being able to provide a platform for other women’s accomplishment, partnering with other leaders and sharing some amazing testimonies and challenges in life,” Harris told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “And with doing this, we will be able to create a team that will help others with their goals. I love being a leader, because it also shares the values of authenticity and soul living.”

To her credit, Harris’ keen leadership skills have been put in display, particularly through her She EXIST organization.

A Tampa, Florida-based mental health and business corporation, She EXIST’s mission is centered largely on ministering on what Harris refers to as “The Power of Her Testimony.”

As Harris eloquently explains, there are a variety of reasons for creating an organization that is starting to attract more of a national presence.

Harris is also is the mastermind behind newly-produced CD entitled, “She EXIST,” a project she co-produced with Moses The Mantra and is powered by BlackPeri LLC.

“I think it is important to be an asset to your community, your society, and the work place,” said Harris, when asked why it is imperative to esteem others highly than herself. “I think teaching and educating positivity is always needed. We’ve heard the saying, ‘It takes a village to raise kids and it will take a team to build teams.’”

Much Harris’ to delight, her organization is steadily expanding, meaning it’s safe to assume that She EXIST’s best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

“(It) continues to grow, as those who are broken find a sense of peace while healing and telling their story,” Harris said.

CHECK OUT JENELLE’S CD

Interestingly, Harris’ She EXIST is designed specifically as a speaking platform, of sorts, most notably for women to share their stories with other women or, as she acknowledges, “to encourage and uplift those who are broken and have given up on life.”

“Throughout these sessions, you can feel the positive vibes and energy from the women who present telling the story,” Harris said.

What’s even more astounding for Harris — an accomplished marketing consulting and motivational speaker — is that her credible organization will be hosting what is known as the “Expanding Your Territory” event on June 22 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Powered by She EXIST, this nationally-acclaimed networking conference will take place at the Raleigh Elks Lodge No. 735, located at 5538 Lead Mine Road.

Tickets for this event can be purchased at https://sheexist.org/.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Harris is an accomplished author, who has been featured in the book entitled, “Diamonds In The Rough: A Woman’s Guide To Living An Empowered Life.”

A book that’s written by Charmaine Powell, “Diamonds In The Rough: A Woman’s Guide To Living An Empowered Life” will be available soon at Amazon.com.

As for She EXIST, Harris’ organization accommodates mostly individuals and groups ranging in ages 16 to 75.

“The tool that I have is for everyone and this is the authenticity that I admire,” Harris said. “Everyone needs leadership and everyone needs empowerment, spiritual awareness, and spirituality intelligence.

“My goal is to inspire everyone with connecting to their inner selves, because oftentimes, we are connecting to a bill, to a toxic relationship, or to a bad environment,” Harris continued, adding that arguably her greatest inspirations are globally-acclaimed ministers Sheryl Brady, Bishop T. D. Jakes, and Bishop Duncan Williams, as well as her beloved grandmother. “When you begin to live from your soul daily, you will begin to detach from negativity and start to condition your mind with what makes sense. Your visibility will be clear your reaction will be a sense of action to make a change.”

Besides her upcoming event in June, Harris — whose work-related experience spans more than 17 years — is scheduled to appear on “I Am Enough” talk show that’s hosted by Wanda D. Hollis April 21. In addition, she will be featured in the April issue of Maline Pride’s Black Wall Street magazine.

“I started as a young girl at the age of 17, working as a HHA, helping elders in their homes…one-one-one care, and that inspired me to do more and to be more,” Harris said. “I was also working as a security guard, doing a grave yard shift in the projects in Harlem with no reservations going back to a city called Brooklyn.”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

Look at her today, walking fervently in her purpose, functioning mightily in her element.

With God, her Helper, leading the way.

Not only that, Chiarenza’s globally-acclaimed venture customarily offers two notable programs for clients looking to lose weight, one of which her clients are assigned to a strict protein program, the other that is centered largely on clients eating a combination of good carbs, fats, and proteins.

“Where I previously trained and lost my weight on my journey, the owner told me that I would not be able to succeed without her, and that empowered me to prove not only to her, but to myself that God has set this journey for me, and the only person that will hold me back will be myself,” said Chiarenza, who officially became a Naturopathic Health Coach Life Coach graduate this year. “Seven years later not, only am I succeeding, I am also inspiring others to see their inner pearl of greatness.”

Amongst the biggest reasons Chiarenza is greatly propelling others to rediscover the best version of themselves is because she’s an entrepreneur whose reputation is such that she displays having a heart for people.

“(I love) seeing the success of my clients on their health journey,” Chiarenza said. “Knowing I am inspiring them and helping them to live longer means they are enjoying their successes and will be able to do so longer.”

IN HER ELEMENT — A native of San Diego, Pearl E. Chiarenza, 53, is an accomplished Brandon, Florida-based Naturopathic Health and Life Coach, a career whereby she is afforded the golden opportunity to motivate and empower clients on what she describes as their health journey as well as life challenges.

Talk about running diligently with the vision — and mission, of course — to which God strategically introduced her.

“My mission is to empower our young adults to begin a healthier lifestyle at an early age and to begin working on their vision, so they do not have to wait when older to achieve their goals and our other clients to see that vision within their inner oyster and inspire them to see it as a beautiful pearl of greatness,” said Chiarenza, who business venture accommodates individuals ranging in ages 14 to 65.

As for her business-related itinerary, Chiarenza will be hosting a wellness event on November 5 and will be spearheading her company’s rebrand launch on November 9 at the Sparkman House.

HEART OF PEARLS AND GOLD — Amongst the biggest reasons Chiarenza is greatly propelling others to rediscover the best version of themselves is because she’s an entrepreneur, whose reputation is such that she displays having a heart for people.

Also, to kick off the New Year, Chiarenza will take part in what is dubbed the Create Your 2019 Vision Board on January 5. She will then host the Worth It PJ Retreat from April 5-7.

“Growing up, I was very shy and was picked on, because of my looks, last name, and shyness,” Chiarenza said. “In addition, because of a childhood, tragedy it is important to me to touch my clients’ inner core and encourage them to find their strength to achieve their life and health goals.

“I have seen women leave abusive relationships, close and start businesses, and become mentors to others, because of my coaching or attending a retreat I have hosted.”

That’s because she’s widely known as a thriving, progressive, resourceful businesswoman, who didn’t just discover and wrote down her life-enhancing vision some seven years ago.

Rather, she’s a flourishing entrepreneur, who has gone to great lengths to run with it.

Tampa’s Michelle Greene Rhodes savoring the best of both worlds as a medical professional, entrepreneur

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES MICHELLE GREENE RHODES

One thing about Michelle Greene Rhodes, she’s fully aware of the purpose for which God has created her.

She’s not just aware of it, mind you.

Given the progressive and flourishing strides she’s made over the years, Rhodes’ reputation is such that she’s destined to go above and beyond to live her best life as an accomplished medical professional.

And not just live and savor her best life but, most importantly, she’s committed to helping others follow suit.

WHAT ABOUT MICHELLE?

COACH ENTREPRENEUR — A native of St Petersburg, Florida who boasts a solid career as a registered nurse, Michelle Greene Rhodes is the mastermind by an immeasurable coaching business, which allows her to inspire and empower nurses into entrepreneurship.

“(I want) to see more nurses fulfilled by their purpose,” Rhodes, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, explaining her mission that has benefited her mightily as a thriving, progressive businesswoman.

MAJOR CAREER MILESTONE — In May 2018, Rhodes witnessed the much-anticipated release of her first book entitled, “The Nurse Echelon: A Victorious Nurse Anthology.”

For Rhodes, who currently resides in Tampa, her well-publicized track record as an RN has been nothing short of remarkable.

That’s because aside from customarily caring for and tending to those who are in dire need of medical help, Rhodes can be appropriately deemed a woman of many hats, considering she is a gifted author and public speaker.

In May 2018, Rhodes witnessed the much-anticipated release of her first book entitled, “The Nurse Echelon: A Victorious Nurse Anthology.”

Comprised of 220 pages, Rhodes’ “The Nurse Echelon: A Victorious Nurse Anthology” is centered mostly on the spiritually-enhancing subject that is victory, most notably how victory has been commonly defined as what she describes as the overcoming of an enemy or antagonist.

“In life, many of us have had to triumph over trials and tribulations to meet a particular goal in life,” said a spokesperson for Rhodes recently-released book at Amazon.com. “Those who do not allow hardships to defeat them have been known as overcomers. When it comes to becoming a nurse or enduring a nursing career, it is known that the schooling is rigorous, the work is tough, the shifts are long and there are some nights that we cannot sleep due to thinking about the shift before. This anthology was created to inspire women, nurses and future nurses to not give up when hard times come. You see, after the rain comes the sunshine.”

A pretty empowering synopsis of a scintillating written document that will be on display when Rhodes hosts her fourth book signing, this time on Saturday, October 20 at a Tampa-area Barnes And Noble.

“We’ll also be launching my 2nd Annual Nurses Book Drop, (during which) I (introduce) 10 nurses as authors,” Rhodes said. “Last year’s event was a huge success.”

A coaching business that went into full operations in November 2016, Rhodes emphasized, among other things, that her sustained success has come to fruition, courtesy of her fervent desire to esteem and inspire others daily.

“Having stayed the course and achieved my own dreams, I find joy in helping others attain theirs as well.” — Michelle Greene Rhodes

A business venture that mostly accommodates women ranging in ages 28 to 48, Rhodes has been afforded the golden opportunity to put her work-related gifts on display in a variety of places, even as far as in the Bahamas.

Interestingly, in May 2019, she will be empowering women in Paris, France along with internationally-acclaimed speaker, Cheryl Wood.

“Having stayed the course and achieved my own dreams, I find joy in helping others attain theirs as well,” Rhodes said.

Now we know why she’s fully aware of the purpose for which God has created her.

Recent NFL Hall of Fame inductee Ray Lewis amongst Florida businessman Dr. Casuel Pitts’ grandest supporters

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES DR. CASUEL PITTS

For Dr. Casuel Pitts, it was undoubtedly the most memorable 500 bucks someone had ever given him in his entire life.

“When I was 11 years old, my father put $500 in my hand for work that I did for his business,” Dr. Pitts recalled. “His entrepreneurship (endeavor) is what drove me to be my own boss.”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR — A native of Kankakee, Illinois who was raised mostly in Brooklyn, New York, DrCasuel Pitts, 33, is owner and chief executive officer of Ultimate Discount Services INC., an Orlando, Florida-based company that was created with the everyday consumer in mind, particularly with regards to focusing on what is known as everyday unforeseen incidents that many most likely don’t plan for, according to detailed breakdown Dr. Pitts’ venture at https://udsinc.us/.

And just like that, it was — much to the delight of Dr. Pitts — a nice little stash of cash that would essentially change his life forever.

That’s because after more than 22 years removed from such a memorable exchange between Pitts and his father, this young, vibrant, progressive businessman has gone to great lengths to not just establish his own entrepreneurship ambitions, but to tackle them head on.

A native of Kankakee, Illinois who was raised mostly in Brooklyn, New York, Pitts, 33, is owner and chief executive officer of Ultimate Discount Services INC., an Orlando, Florida-based company that was created with the everyday consumer in mind, particularly with regards to focusing on what is known as everyday unforeseen incidents that many most likely don’t plan for, according to detailed breakdown Dr. Pitts’ venture at https://udsinc.us/.

ALL STAR LINEUP — A company that went into full operations four years ago, Ultimate Discount Services INC. is widely known for accommodating consumers with things such as car accidents, dropped cell phones, traffic violations, and medical visits, just to name few.

Former NFL star and recent Hall of Fame inductee Ray Lewis of Baltimore Ravens is the company’s President.

And now for this extremely vital disclaimer.

MORE ON ULTIMATE DISCOUNT SERVICES INC.: https://udsinc.us/

DAD KNOWS BEST — After more than 22 years removed from such a memorable exchange between Pitts and his father, this young, vibrant, progressive businessman has gone to great lengths to not just establish his own entrepreneurship ambitions, but to tackle them head on.

“Now, let’s clear up one major misconception. We are not insurance,” said a spokesperson for Ultimate Discount Services (or USD). “We offer a unique membership platform comprised of 16 powerful services that give you that extra piece of mind when life unexpectedly happens and you’re not financially in a place to accommodate certain situations.”

During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Dr. Pitts emphasized that USD headlines one of his companies.

“The core of UDS is reimbursements,” Dr. Pitts explained. “Our goal is to help people save money while educating them on how important credit, investments, and entrepreneurship are. It is important for consumers to realize that UDS is not insurance and, although we have similarities, our focus is to make sure reimbursements are received on things you cannot control.”

Interestingly, this notable businessman raises questions many consumers customarily pose daily.

“Ask yourself: When was the last time you or someone you know damaged a cell phone?” Dr. Pitts said. “What about the last time you or someone you know received some type of traffic ticket? What about medical, dental, and vision co-pays? These are just a few things that we reimburse on.”

An entrepreneur tenure that spans more two decades, Dr. Pitts’ featured business venture caters mostly to those whom he refers to as the “millennial drive with the wisdom of the baby boomers and Generation X.”

MORE THAN QUALIFIED — Having earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Dr. Pitts earned a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Advertising, and Doctorate Degrees in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership and Organization.

Interestingly, Dr. Pitts’ company accommodates people nationwide and, according to him, USD is steadfastly devising ways to become a globally-acclaimed venture by the year 2020.

Having earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Dr. Pitts earned a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Advertising, and Doctorate Degrees in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership and Organization.

“My personal mission for this business is what God hires me to do and that’s to make this brand, Ultimate Discount Services INC, a ministry and to help as many people as I can save money, build credit and invest smarter,” said Dr. Pitts, adding that aside from God, his grandest inspirations are his wife, Lewis, as well as the marketing consultants who play a major roll with helping build his brand.

GIVING BACK BIG TIME — An entrepreneur tenure that spans more two decades, Dr. Pitts’ featured business venture caters mostly to those whom he refers to as the “millennial drive with the wisdom of the baby boomers and Generation X.”

“I love God. I love people. I promote positive energy only,” Dr. Pitts continued. “My excitement about knowledge is similar to a kid in the candy store, and I always made myself accessible to it. The passion that I carry about business is like no other. I tend to get a bit animated and engulfed in a debate or conversation that develops on how to start, structure, or build a business. We as the human race lack more knowledge than we are aware of, and that’s why I feel that God is putting me in the position to mold me in order to help organize that category, but that is another story.”

What a difference 500 bucks have made.

Florida author Janice Harris overcomes Sarcoma Cancer, writes an emotionally life-changing book

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES JANICE HARRIS

During Janice Harris’ undergraduate days at the University of South Florida in Tampa, she strongly considered — and studied — journalism, although she had ultimately earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication.

Given the immeasurable strides she’s made as a writer in recent years, it’s safe to assume that Harris is, in some aspects, is a journalist in her own right.

PRAYER ANSWERED — Even while weathering the dreaded storm that is cancer, Floridian Janice Harris had become engaged in a rather intriguing dialogue with her Creator, one that eventually gave way to her becoming the mastermind behind the life-changing book entitled, “Through the Fire: A Miraculous Journey.”

That’s because Harris — even while pressing and navigating her way through arguably the darkest hours of her life — had steadfastly obeyed the voice of God by composing a book that is presently having a massive kingdom impact.

“I was recuperating from Sarcoma cancer, after having gone through chemo, two types of radiation, and a major surgery to remove the tumor,” an emotional Harris told Making Headline News this week.

A retiree of the State of Florida who is a seasoned minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Harris’ “Through the Fire: A Miraculous Journey” is highlighted large by her telling her story of what she dubs as a “survival,” or the miracle she had ultimately received.

Interestingly, she then gives inspiration to anyone dealing with what she appropriately describes as life’s most difficult trials and circumstances. In addition, Harris takes her reading audience through her turbulent journey that is comprised of an array of emotions and struggles, one that shows how she was determined to depend on her faith in God to bring her through it.

WOMAN THOU ART LOOSE — Fortunately for Harris, a native of Jacksonville, even as she battled her dreaded disease, it seemed that God was already moving on her behalf, thus preparing for her a way of escape.

“Many people give up while facing tough situations,” said a spokesperson for Harris’ book at Amazon.com. “Others who struggle to find answers as to why they are going through become bitter and angry at God and at life itself. In this story, you will be inspired to hold on despite what you are going through.”

Fortunately for Harris, a native of Leesburg, Florida, even as she battled her dreaded disease, it seemed that God was already moving on her behalf, thus preparing for her a way of escape.

“I heard in my spirit to write my experience down in a book, and then I saw a quick picture flash before my face of what the cover should look like and the title,” said Harris, explaining the vision that was revealed to her while battling cancer. “I did not keep pictures or notes during my bout with cancer, so I had to remember everything I went through. Because it was a crucial journey, I could remember everything vividly.”

THE GALATIANS 6:9 FACTOR — A retiree of the State of Florida who is a seasoned minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Harris’ “Through the Fire: A Miraculous Journey” is highlighted large by her telling her story of what she dubs as a “survival,” or the miracle she had ultimately received.

A book she essentially began composing sometime in 2012, Harris had finally finished her initial written document in February of this year.

“It is a short book, but I tried to put as many details as I could,” Harris said.

To her credit, she did just that, considering the feedback since her book’s ceremonious release have been overwhelmingly favorable.

“I have received good feedback mainly from family and friends who have read the book thus far,” Harris said. “Due to a local move and other projects going on around the time that I published my book until now, I have not done any major promotion. The few written reviews on Amazon thus far are good. I am just getting around to doing a Kindle e-book this week, and expect more traffic on the book. I am also still hoping to do a book signing in the near future, even though my book has been out since late February.”

Despite a recent relocation and other things about which Harris has had to address, what matters at this point is that her new book is finally where it belongs: on the market.

Which, as a result, means its best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

“I have always believed God has a great purpose and plan for my life,” said Harris, adding that other books are forthcoming, most notably one on poetry in memory of her mother, who passed away in 2011 at the age of 88. “I have always been a leader and an encourager. I love to help and encourage others. I do so daily whether it is simply on my Facebook page, at church from the pulpit, in the store, or anywhere else that I go. I am a witness for Jesus Christ and it is definitely a desire given by my Creator. I feel that I have also been given the gift to write, and I want to do more of that.”

While Harris labels her new book as “just a portion of my story,” amongst the things about which she deems gratifying is that God strategically handpicked her to produce such a remarkably brilliant project for such a time as now.

IT IS FINISHED — A book she essentially began composing sometime in 2012, Harris had finally finished her initial written document in February of this year.

“When I found a small bump on my right femur around the hamstring area in December 2011, I had no idea what that would lead to,” Harris said.

What’s especially astounding about that seemingly discouraging day in December 2011 was that God all along had a miraculously blessing with her name on it.

A blessing that came wrapped up in a book that is having a massive kingdom impact.

Atlanta author Shonta L. Thomas overcomes the spirit of ‘fear,’ writes a compelling book of poems

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES SHONTA L. THOMAS

Shonta L. Thomas is a poet.

For the record, she’s a pretty darn good and resourceful one in her own right.

“I’ve actually wanted to write this book for some time now…like for years,” Thomas told Making Headline News this week.

The book to which Thomas is alluding is her August 15 released  project entitled, “Matters Of The Mind: Life Edition.”

A book that is comprised of an array of this brilliant writer’s intriguing poems, Thomas’ primary objective for composing “Matters Of The Mind: Life Edition” is centered largely on various situations that are often experienced in people’s lives.

Interesting, Thomas’ authorship debut surfaced in the aftermath of her having — for a lack of better words — essentially getting out of her own way.

“But in the midst of wanting to (write the book), I also developed a fear of things being less-than-perfect, so I actually stopped writing for a while.”

But God…

BUY IT NOW —  Thomas’ “Matters Of The Mind: Life Edition” was officially released on August 15.

“God blessed me with the motivation and vision to start writing again and to consolidate my poems into a book in the latter half of 2017,” Thomas, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, recalled.

The rest, as they say, was history for this Atlanta-area author whom, much to her delight, is savoring the fruits of your labour since the release of “Matters Of The Mind: Life Edition.”

For Thomas, it is an awe-inspiring project that had ultimately come to fruition, courtesy of the purpose for which God created her.

THE PROVERBS 31 FACTOR — Although her initial book is filled with poems, Thomas doesn’t shy away from the notion that is it, by all accounts, a part of her divine purpose.

“My most underlying reason for producing this book was solely due to the content,” Thomas explained. “The poems in this book are more than just that. These poems touch on real life situations that people face on a daily basis, and that alone was enough to put it out for those who have experienced it or are going through it will know that they are not alone and that others have been there also.”

As for the divine message she appropriately aspires to send to her reading audience through her newly-produced masterpiece, Thomas has emphasized time and again that “no one is alone out here,” particularly as it pertains to journeying through this very thing called life.

“There is always someone else that has been in a similar situation, that is going through it or heading into it,” Thomas said. “My audience will be able to process and reflect on each poem and take notes as I’ve made space for those who can relate to some of the situations discussed in the different poems.”

For what it’s worth, her wealth of experience as a licensed professional counselor and a board certified counselor has benefited her mightily, most during the course of assembling her new book, thus getting her messages across to her reading audience.

“I am a professional counselor, so I understand the importance of getting those feelings out, processing them, and being able to communicate your thoughts even if it is through writing,” Thomas said. It all helps. So if I’m able to touch a heart or two and help at least one person with being able to move forward from a past hurt, then I’ve done a good thing.”

Since her book had become available nationwide this week, Thomas said the feedback has been favorable, as expected.

TRUSTING THE PROCESS — As for the divine message she appropriately aspires to send to her reading audience through her newly-produced masterpiece, Thomas has emphasized time and again that no one is alone out here, particularly as it pertains to journeying through this thing called life.

“I believe that I will get some (more) great feedback regarding it,” Thomas said. “While writing this book, I let several people read some of the poems and the feedback was great, so hopefully once it is released, everyone else will enjoy it and feel the same.”

Although her initial book is filled with poems, Thomas doesn’t shy away from the notion that is it, by all accounts, a part of her divine purpose.

“This book is a part of my purpose, because although it is a poetry book it can also help those who have experienced some of the situations talked about in one of the poems,” Thomas said. “This book can help people get a different perspective on various situations, and it can also provide great discussion topics in groups. I know that my purpose in life is to help others and I believe that this is just one of many ways that I can do it.”

Given the lofty strides she’s made since becoming an author, it’s safe to assume that Thomas undoubtedly has adopted a passion for writing books.

That’s because she has announced that other written documents are presently in the works, most notably “The Strength To Leave: Identifying, Accepting And Walking Away from Red Flag Behaviors And Situations In Your Relationships,” which is scheduled to be released in October 2018.

“This book came about, because of a negative relationship that I personally experienced with my son’s father, and also because there are so many women on the news who have been severely injured and murdered by someone that they were in a relationship with,” Thomas said. “This book is to help women with identifying those red flags that we tend to ignore in relationships and just to shed some light on the seriousness of domestic violence.”

As for her itinerary, during which she will be afforded the opportunities to promote her books, Thomas is scheduled to appear at a domestic violence event on October 20 in Baltimore called 50 Shades Of Blue.

During this assembly, Thomas will specifically promote her forthcoming new book, she said.

GIVING BACK BIG TIME — For what it’s worth, her wealth of experience as a licensed professional counselor and a board certified counselor has benefited her mightily, most during the course of assembling her new book, thus getting her messages across to her reading audience.

A 10-year U. S. Navy veteran, Thomas is a mother of two children — a 17-year-old daughter and one-year-old son — and a breast cancer survivor, who is currently a doctoral candidate.

Tampa, Florida-area businesswoman Kia A. Wells steadily walking her purpose as she prepares for her annual Business Showcase

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)

Say this about accomplished businesswoman Kia A. Wells.

Surely, her labor isn’t merely in vain.

ATTRACTING NATIONAL HEADLINES — During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Tampa-area businesswoman Kia A. Wells expressed excitement about her Second Annual Men And Women In Business Showcase that will take place on July 21 at the Fort Harrison Hotel in nearby Clearwater, Florida. Labeled a pageant style event for small business owners, Wells’ Men And Women In Business Showcase will be comprised of a number of contestants, all of whom will receive business coaching, business training, and business workshops, among other business-related perks.

How else to explain why she found herself basking in the glory of the moment Tuesday afternoon?

“Yes! You have me in tears. I feel like a celebrity,” Wells said during an interview with Making Headline News from.

To grasp a thorough concept of why Wells was suddenly overcome by emotions in the middle of her workday, look no further than the immeasurable strides she’s made through the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship in recent years.

For starters, Wells’ reputation is such that she customarily exemplifies having a heart for young entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly as it pertains to helping them broaden their horizon, thus maximize their potential.

Add to the fact that she has become thoroughly committed to helping this generation of entrepreneurs strategically step outside of their comfort zone in ways unimaginable, and it’s no wonder many would agree that her labor undoubtedly isn’t in vain.

“I was inspired to create a different type of event for small business owners due to my previous lack of confidence in becoming a business owner,” Wells said.

The event to which Wells is alluding is her Second Annual Men And Women In Business Showcase that will take place on July 21 at the historic Fort Harrison Hotel, located at 210 Ft. Harrison Avenue in nearby Clearwater, Florida.

Labeled a pageant style event for small business owners, Wells’ Men And Women In Business Showcase will be comprised of a number of contestants, all of whom will receive business coaching, business training, and business workshops, among other business-related perks.

Along with their training, contestants will be afforded the opportunity to compete in what showcase organizers have dubbed “a friendly competition.”

This showcase, in fact, is broken down in three segments and, according to a spokesperson for this event, each participant will have three minutes during the initial segment to “wow the audience and judges” by showcasing their respective business on stage.

The second segment will be centered on business-oriented attire, during which contestants will share before the masses their mission and vision statements.

“The business attire is an opportunity for each contestant to demonstrate a professional image if they are attending a business luncheon or if they are meeting an investor at the bank,” Wells said.

And then there is the final segment, which is has been famously labeled the Fortune 100 Ball.

During the segment, contestants will have the golden opportunity to demonstrate as business owners their favorable and most appealing images, particularly if they are attending a gala or an awards banquet, of some sort, Wells acknowledged.

“The purpose is to equip, train, and educate small business owners by offering a fun, but educational event for them to be inspired to move forward in their business endeavors,” Wells, a Tampa-area Leadership and Communications Trainer, said of an event she hopes will attract a sizable crowd.

TURNING HEADS — Wells’ Showcase is broken down in three segments and, according to a spokesperson for this event, each participant will have three minutes to “wow the audience and judges” by showcasing their respective business on stage.

Interestingly, attendees to this year’s showcase will be allowed to shop and engage in business with various local vendors, will have at their disposal an unlimited gourmet meal, valet parking and, as Wells, the mastermind behind the event has emphasized in recent weeks, they will witness “an awesome show.”

That’s not all.

“This event will impact the community by inspiring them to either start their own business or receive training to improve their current businesses,” said Wells, whose showcase was only comprised of women contestants last year.

What’s evening more astounding is that following the July showcase, Wells and her staff we will be launching a similar event for youth entrepreneurs, which will be erected as a similar setup as the forthcoming one for adults.

Talk about pressing and navigating her way through arguably the toughest of entrepreneurship barriers and obstacles.

“I felt it was too hard or impossible,” Wells, a Jacksonville, Florida native, said of having birthed her vision to establish her community-based showcase, one she hopes will garner a national presence in the foreseeable future. “Sometimes we have a variety of resources, but when you’re in your beginning stages of business, you have no idea where to start. The showcase is designed to provide a more simple strategy to assist business owners more one-on-one and to also provide a fun outlet that is designed to assist them moving forward.”

All the while this progressive and resourceful businesswoman continues to bask in the glory of the moment.
