Actress Kim Coles to headline a host of speakers during Know Your Worth Women’s Conference Oct. 6

Another major announcement, another major celebrity invite to an event that will be hosted by accomplished Mid-South-area businessman Aaron Jordan, Jr.

During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Jordan, Jr., a longtime media mogul, announced that actress, comedian, and game show host Kim Coles will be the keynote speaker during his Fourth Annual Know Your Worth Women’s Relationship Conference on October 6 at 6 p.m. CST.

Jordan, Jr. said he and Coles had initially crossed paths two years ago and eventually formed a solid friendship.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Coles, 56, is widely known for having starred as Synclaire James–Jones on the classic Fox series, Living Single, from 1993 to 1998.

Prior to joining the cast of Living Single, she made regular appearances on Fox comedy television series, In Living Color, from 1990 to 1991.

“I’m very excited,” Jordan, Jr. said of his upcoming conference. “Kim and I became great associates two years ago, which turned into a good friendship.”

Earlier this year, Jordan, Jr. hosted what was known as the Know Your Worth 2018 Rock Your Mind Tour, during which renowned actor Darrin Henson — who appeared in such shows as Stomp The Yard and Soul Food — was his featured guest.

As for his Know Your Worth Women’s Relationship Conference, Jordan, Jr. said this year’s event figures to be just as pleasurable and informative as in previous years.

“This event is for the celebration of women from all walks of life,” said Jordan, Jr. a native of Memphis who currently resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. “(We’re) providing a platform to help women foster their inner pain and turn it into a positive release.”

Besides Coles, Jordan, Jr.’s conference will include four other notable speakers, most notably an appearance by spoken word artist Tia Smedley.

Amongst the reasons Jordan, Jr. said he felt inspired to hold his conference annually is because of the overwhelming feedback from those who previously attended it.

Widely known as “Mr. Know Your Worth,” Jordan, Jr. has traveled the country, during which he routinely empowers the masses with his wealth of knowledge, most notably subjects on dating and relationships.

An award-winning author, speaker, relationship expert, and radio personality whose entrepreneurship tenure spans more than seven years, Jordan, Jr. has authored two books to date: “The Power Within, A Woman’s Worth: From Both Sexes,” which was released in July 2014, and “A Woman’s Worth: From Both Sexes” (Extended Version/Second Edition), which officially hit the market in June 2017.

A graduate of Memphis Whitehaven High School, Jordan earned a Marketing Degree from the University of Phoenix in 2013.
