But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV)
For Dr. Kadijatu Grace Ahene, she didn’t just think and reflect on the necessary changes she sensed she needed to make in her life.
To her credit, she deemed it essential to put her faith into action so that she could reap favorable results —as a result.
“In life we all get to a point where we just want a change,” Dr. Ahene told Making Headline News this week. “We get tired of doing things the same way and getting the same results. I know I was.”
GOD’S AMAZING GRACE
For Dr. Ahene, that she was — for a lack of better words — sick and tired of being sick and tired essentially was the pivotal turning point she so desperately needed at the tender age of 25.
“I was tired of carrying the same baggage that weighed me down for so long,” Dr. Ahene, an accomplished Life Coach/Motivational Speaker, recalled. “So at age 25, I began to find ways to change. I picked up a few self-help books and did some Internet research on self-improvement.”
Such detailed research had ultimately given way to Dr. Ahene finding her niche in the ever-so-competitive world of authorship.

A resident of Arizona — by way of West Africa — Dr. Ahene is the mastermind behind two compelling books: “Saved By Grace,” her latest project, and “Broken Chains.”
Officially released on June 6, 2017, Dr. Ahene’s “Saved By Grace” eloquently reminds us that through the obstacles of life, one can only hope to make it or give up and fail at it, as this brilliant writes explains in a detailed breakdown at Amazon.com.
“At times, you will feel the need to quit; thoughts of worthlessness will permeate your mind and, if you are not careful, they will consume your soul,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Dr. Ahene’s “Saved By Grace.” But in the depth of it all is where you dig deep and find your strength in Him — God that is — the Creator of all that is just and unjust.”
As for the direct message she’s aiming to send to her reading audience through her latest book, Dr. Ahene emphasized it came during what was a trying time in her young life.
“I was going through a lot at the time, and so I asked God what was my purpose in life,” Dr. Ahene recalled. “And I heard an audible voice: ‘I HAVE GIVEN YOU A STORY. WHY DONT YOU WRITE ABOUT IT?’”
Having steadfastly obeyed the Voice of God, it wasn’t long thereafter that Dr. Ahene’s “Saved By Grace” had become a reality.
A year-and-a-half removed since its release, “Save By Grace” undoubtedly has become a fixture in the Body of Christ.

So has “Broken Chains,” Dr. Ahene’s first book that made its presence on the market on September 28, 2016.
A book that is comprised of 184-pages in length, Dr. Ahene’s “Broken Chains” specifically singles out the fruit of the spirit that is widely known as “self-control,” Dr. Ahene acknowledged.
“Soon thereafter, the soul-searching and self-repairing research led me to spiritual books, articles, pastors’ sermons, and the Bible,” said Dr. Ahene, recalling the memorable developments surrounding her quest to compose her first book. “I began reading and praying. I grew up in church; I knew Who God was, but I realized that to know of God and to know God are two different things.”
Interestingly, Dr. Ahene began to establish a deeper, intimate relationship with God, a trend that had eventually given way to her acquiring more revelation to write her books.
GOD’S LEADING LADY
“I studied the Bible more deeply and my prayers became a little bit stronger,” Dr. Ahene said.
“I remember my strongest prayer ever was the eve of my 25th birthday when I asked God, ‘If this is life, then take my life already.’ I was not thinking of my mother, or anyone else around me. The humiliation from every con artist had me trapped in a cage.
“I cried from the deepest part of my broken soul, asking God to help me,” Dr. Ahene continued. “I asked Him to make me new, to restore my joy, to have His way, to forgive my bad decisions, to remove the pain I carried for so long and the anger that was created in the process. I cried for so long…I just wanted to start over.”

“God heard my cry,” Dr. Ahene said. “I asked. I received. I sought. I found Him. I knocked and He invited me in and taught me about His unconditional love.”
All because she deemed it essential to put her faith into action so that she could reap favorable results —as a result.
