Toy Addington has steadfastly gone to great lengths to make Memphis proud.
To her distinctly unique credit, in fact, her entrepreneurial track record is such that she’s destined to garner more of a global presence through her assortment of endeavors.
“I’m self-driven and motivated, and it’s contagious, so I needed to strengthen my knowledge on how to help people set goals and accomplish them,” Addington told Making Headline News this week. I did my research and stumbled upon life coaching.”
Fortunately for Addington, she hasn’t looked back since she was blessed to have strategically connected with the purpose for which she was created.
A native Memphian, Addington is the mastermind behind I Can’t Coaching Life Coaching School and Mrs. Budget Boss Organization, her credible nonprofit organization she established in 2014.
Through Mrs. Budget Boss Organization, Addington’s primary focus includes — but isn’t limited to — helping equip today’s youths with the right tools they need, particularly through empowerment coaching.

Interestingly, she goes to great lengths to educate youths through her ever-so-popular “Money Don’t Grow On Trees” class, during which she customarily helps prevent them from making financial pitfalls, all the while preparing them for a successful and stress-free future.
“(We devise ways) to keep them from being stressed, moving back home with their parents, and being overwhelmed during their transition into adulthood,” Addington said in a detailed introduction of company at https://mrsbudgetbossacademy.com/mrs-budget-boss. I will also keep track of the students’ progress at least twice a year, and those who successfully complete the program will have an opportunity to teach the class and make extra income.”
And then there’s Addington’s I Can’t Coaching venture, which is accompanied by her original, yet compelling motto: I Can’t Let Anything Control My Mind, Mood or Money.”
A business-related entity that has given way to Addington reaping a considerable amount of sustained success, this progressive and thriving businesswoman announced that her first book in presently in the works and will be centered largely on empowering people on how to stay self-motivated, as well as how to acquire more positive energy.
By all accounts, this would be done by a rather intriguing formula — “The formula for ’emotional excellence’ is for one to reach their highest form of existence,” she emphasized — Addington describes as “M+M=M,” which means Mind+Mood= (Money, mood, man, mellow, marvelous, mother etc.).
There is, as far as this accomplished Mid-South businesswoman is concerned, a notable reason why she deemed it essential to come up with such a unique formula.
“Thoughts trigger emotions, which motivates or demotivates one to be a better (insert the m that you want to feel),” Addington explained.
A successful businesswoman who has garnered an array of local media attention through her assortment of endeavors, Addington’s seminars have included mostly standing-room-only crowds, considering she’s practically sold out every workshop and class this year.
Amongst the reasons is that Addington’s I Can’t Coaching Life Coaching Certification Class, It’s My Money And I Want It Back, Marketing & Branding, B.Y.O.B. “Build Your Own Business Workshop, and Iron Sharpens Iron Mastermind workshops have proven beneficial to countless of individuals — a trend that, in turn, has only enhanced her entrepreneurship repertoire in the process.
Much to her delight, Addington was especially complementary of Tony Robbins and Lisa Nichols for their valiant support of her business-related success, considering she’s made favorable strides as apart of their tribes, she acknowledged.
“Since I was good building businesses, this is how it has become my specialty,” Addington said. “Helping people build businesses, finding ways to save money in their businesses, finding where they were losing money, and even helping save a few businesses from closing its doors. I’ve spent over 3,075 hours of studying coaching and business building. I’ve helped over 105 businesses get started.”
And here’s what’s even more astounding: Addington is believed to be the first African-American woman to open a Life Coaching School in a Tri-State area that’s comprised of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Also, I Can’t Coaching Life Coaching School is the only institution of its kind in the Tr-State area.
A first-generation college graduate, Addington is a Master Certified Professional Life Coach, who is widely known for specializing is helping people build six-figure businesses.
“I help them take their vision from paper to profit, etc….making money in their sleep or, perhaps, while they are awake” she said.
A White Station High School graduate, Addington advanced her education at Southwest Tennessee Community College before graduating with honors from Grand Canyon University.
She is an accomplished Master Certified Professional Life Coach, an achievement that has greatly afforded her the golden opportunity to thrive mightily in her profession.
On October 5, Addington will host what is known as the “Secrets To Marketing Your Business To Six Figures” seminar during which she will enlighten the masses more about her unique business-related concepts.

Having put her entrepreneurship mechanics on display in such places as Tennessee, Arkansas, Washington D.C., California, Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and even as far as Africa, Addington said her business venture accommodates those who exemplify a passion for helping people to become better version of themselves, particularly those who boasts aspirations in selected industries such as education, fitness, finances, etc.

“I’ve always been competitive,” Addington said. “It started at the age of four when I became a majorette. I’ve been the captain of every squad I’ve ever been on. My drive comes from being a teenage mom and being on my own since the age of 15.”
