EDITOR’S NOTE: Georgia businesswoman Teia Acker’s story has been dubbed “Making Headline News’ April Premiere” to kick off the fourth month of 2020.
She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. (Proverbs 31:17)
SECURING HER PURPOSE
Teia Acker could be appropriately described as a woman of many hats.
Consider, for instance, Acker’s immeasurable entrepreneurship gifts as the owner and chief operator of Ebony & Ivory Professional Services LLC, her rising, progressive company that was established in 2013 and has since garnered an international presence.
With locations is a variety of major U. S. cities — most notably Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Orlando, New York City, Houston, Chicago, and Atlanta, among other establishments — Ebony & Ivory Professional Services is a credible venture that is dedicated largely to providing its customers with the best possible service.
“We are a company that has gained valuable expertise throughout various industry segments,” Acker told Making Headline News this week. “Our experience enables delivery of business solutions that embrace all components of your organization. We connect you with the right people, processes, and services.

“By partnering with other businesses, we can leverage our knowledge to help you take your business to the next level. We are here to help you get noticed.”
Interestingly, Ebony & Ivory Professional Services is widely known for catering to what Acker describes as “all things business essentials,” which includes — but aren’t limited to — designing banners, backdrops, retractable banners, flyers, websites, business cards, and business plans, among other entities.
“While there are many businesses that provide services similar to ours, the company’s vision is to establish an immeasurable difference from the competition by exemplifying quality service and customer satisfaction,” said Acker, whose entrepreneurship tenure spans nearly seven years.
WHO IS TEIA ACKER? https://www.teiaacker.com/
A native of Savannah, Georgia, Acker also is owner and CEO of the brand, Teia Acker #RESILIENT, an endeavor that was formed to aid in the establishment of her identity as a business owner, particularly for a woman who admittedly has withstood every possible barrier designed to deter her success, she said.
In addition, Teia Acker #RESILIENT is the producer of the podcast #GETNOTICED!, one that customarily introduces various concepts and ideals that are geared specifically toward propelling and sustaining profitable businesses.
And then there is Acker’s EIPS LLC, an awe-inspiring endeavor Acker established on July 25, 2013 with the help of “a very generous business colleague,” Angela Deloach.
“She was entering the world of entrepreneurship and allowed me to display my talents of helping small business through hers,” said Acker, recalling the memorable developments that led to the birthing of EIPS LLC. “I was very humbled and grateful as most people would not allow you to be their test dummy. From there, I knew that I needed to expound more. I began rebranding every chance I could and increasing services quarterly.”
Three years removed from having witnessed the startup of EIPS LLC, Acker had subsequently developed a fervent niche for assembling resumes and cover letters. She said to date, her company has constructed approximately 3,000 resumes and cover letters for clients nationwide.
“With the tagline of, ‘Let Us Help You GETNOTICED,’ I discovered the missing component of servicing clients with the desire to not only be small business owners and entrepreneurs, but to also become leaders,” Acker said.
An empowerment extraordinaire in her own right, Acker authored “Let There Be Business: Speaking It Into Existence,” a book she refers to as a “catalyst” to help propel the average thinker into a doer. The book has sold over 5,000 copies since its July 2017 release.
A 1999 graduate of Savannah’s Robert W. Groves High School, Acker holds dual Bachelor Degrees from Georgia Southern University (in Health Science/Community Health & Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science).
In 2008, she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class at the University of Phoenix University and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration at Walden University.
As for her personal mission for having the golden opportunity to function mightily in her element, Acker said: “I consistently recite, ‘A charge I have to keep and a God to glorify.’ I asked God to use me when I was in a place of defeat. I promised Him that I would do right by myself, do right by His people and do right by Him.”
To her distinctly unique credit, she’s doing just that with God, her Helper, steering the way.
“I wanted to be the person that went out and made things happen, all while sharing the journey, the lessons, and the defeats with those thinking about traveling the same road as me,” Acker said.
Appropriately and well said by this, a woman who could be appropriately described as a woman of many hats.
