“My message is Jesus,” Harrison says without hesitation. “The book is to help the reader with a closer walk with God. I wanted it to be a simple read…nothing deep, but I wanted it to be impactful each day, and it takes about five minutes (to read each devotional). And the reader is on his or her way (to enjoying a day filled with spiritual stability).”
According to Harrison, she began composing 31 Practical Principles To A Better Life: Living Life On Purpose in May 2020 and needed a little more than a year complete a book that, to her credit, has been as good as advertised.
Much to her delight, she also has become the beneficiary of a rash of favorable reviews.

“I had one individual said as she read one of the devotionals that it was just what she needed for that day,” Harrison said. “That one reader made it all the way to work, (and told me) the time and effort to write (this book was well worth it).”
A graduate of Light Bible Institute and the MDI Minister Development Institute, Harrison is a minister who acquired her ministerial license from Houston’s historic New Light Christian Center Church.
“I was part of a prison ministry for about three years,” Harrison, who’s also a prayer minister in her church, said, introducing her notable works in the Body of Christ. “It was (called) Standing In Faith Ministry, which was very instrumental to the calling on my life. I was able to use my minister gift, teaching at the men and women units, and it impacted my life.”

When asked in what ways is her featured book a part of the purpose for which God has created her, Harrison said: “We are created to bring people closer to God. This is a tool God is using through me for that purpose.”
