I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18 NKJV)
TRUE TO HER WORD
To her credit, Michelle Brown strategically made good on the life-altering promise she made to Almighty God.
For her valiant efforts, God has blessed her mightily to achieve one of her long-awaited milestones.
“God gave me the vision back in 2020,” Brown told Making Headline News this week as part of its coverage during Bishop T. D. Jakes’ Woman Thou Art Loosed Homecoming The Finale, recalling the memorable developments that led to her much-anticipated authorship debut. “I had always wanted to write a book. I just didn’t know what kind of book. So, I had made a promise to God when I get my own house and computer, I’m going to start writing. Not even a week, only seven days in moving into my place, I got my vision and instantly I wrote it down.”
Not only did Brown, a Detroit-based author, write down the vision but, much to her delight, she ran with it — or diligently exercised her faith, to put it more precisely — until her work was finally done with the release of The Inner Child Of Me, her highly-anticipated written work that debuted just in time for Spring 2021.

An intriguingly fascinating book that is available where books are sold, most notably Walmart.com, Brown’s rise to becoming a first-time published author comes amid humble beginnings.
“The reason I wrote my book is because I started realizing the pattern behind it,” Brown, a native of Detroit, explained. “I had to break the cycle.”
Interestingly enough, Brown admittedly wasn’t sure if she should compose a book that, by all accounts, chronicles an assortment of personal life-altering experiences.
“Although I battled back in forth, I told the Lord I’m not a writer,” Brown said. “My inspiration came after watching a YouTube video called Innerchild Healed. This lady talked about how she went back to rescue her little girl that was stuck in hotel lobby, waiting on her dad to come down to get her. He never came, so (she began) kicking and screaming, trying to rescue her innerchild. I was in tears saying, ‘This is real. People really do go through this.’ And I’m not the only one. I have to write this book.”
Once Brown commenced to writing her book, she only needed somewhere in the neighborhood of four months to complete her published masterpiece.
Brown’s The Inner Child Of Me was officially published on March 12, 2021.
Approximately a year-and-a-half removed since her ceremonious authorship debut came to fruition, Brown subsequently has become the beneficiary of a rash of favorable feedback.
“The feedback I got was I’m strong to even talk about it,” Brown said. “(People have told me) ‘Thanks for writing this.’ My book needs to be edited. I could have put more in it.”
WE’RE BETTER TOGETHER
Regardless, it safe to assume Brown has included enough pertinent information in her first book to impact and enrich lives for years to come.
“The message I’m sending to my audience is to remember our voice is healing and our silence is killing,” Brown said. “Half of the problems we go through is not ours, it’s our generations before us. So we have to heal our trauma, so it doesn’t become the next generation’s problem.”
Since The Inner Child Of Me debuted, Brown has attracted a widespread media presence with interviews via Zondra TV, several YouTube channels, podcasts, live streams, and area radio stations.
“I have done popup shops in Jackson, Detroit, Pontiac (Michigan),” Brown said. “I’m always looking for ways to promote and get my book out there.”
Mission accomplished.
PIVOTAL REMINDER…
Especially given Brown’s highly-anticipated book has been nothing short of remarkable since it’s release.
“My book is not just a book, it’s my testimony that God is real and I was born to be the face of all faces to change the cycle and break the curse,” Brown said. “Also, the attack didn’t start when I got here. I was fighting to get here.
GOD-ORDERED STEPS
“Time invested is time that’s worth it.”
Indeed, it is, for this gifted first-time published author whom, to her credit, strategically made good on the promise she made to Almighty God.
