“He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.” (Proverbs 21:21)
GOD IS WITH HER
During the infancy stages of her teenage life, Apostle Dr. Laura Anderson wouldn’t be what most would describe as a typical teenager.
Consider, for instance, her notable upbringing in the church.
“Received the Holy Ghost and baptism in Jesus Name at the age of 14,” Dr. Anderson, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling arguably one of the memorable spiritual moments of her life, during which she had effectively sold out to Almighty God within the walls of Apostolic Fountain Ministry Birthing Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
And the rest, as they say, was history.
Consequently, that Dr. Anderson had deemed it essential to live for Christ, by all accounts, had given way to her spiritual gifts being discovered in ways unimaginable, particularly by her then-Pastor, James Whitmore, who recognized her gift of the prophesy some two years later.

“(I was being) used by God mightily at a young age,” said Dr. Anderson, who eventually served in what was known as missionary outreach, all the while exposing her immeasurable talents as a playwright and youth advisor.
Years later, Dr. Anderson began to steadily have a valiant impact in the Body of Christ, a trend that ultimately led to her becoming an ordain elder, as well as what was known as an office prophet, during which she was afforded the golden opportunity to display her administrative skills.
A native of Farmersville, Alabama, Dr. Anderson, 55, is the Senior Pastor of Emanuel Healing Deliverance Cathedral, her Bayville, New Jersey-area ministry that is located at 91 Atlantic City Boulevard.
For Dr. Anderson, her rise to evolving as a fixture in the Body of Christ comes amid a rash of unfavorable circumstances through which she’s managed to persevere and conquer.
“When chosen for the nursing administrative position, pastoral office, because of such negative influences in my life — verbal, sexual, physical and mental abuse of dyslexia and other learning disability — I was a woman who struggled with academic challenges,” Dr. Anderson recalled. “(I was) told I would never be nothing and was tormented by the spirit of apathy and abandonment.”
Still, such turmoil never in any way, shape, or form deterred this devout woman of faith from pressing and navigating toward the purpose for which God created her.
FAITH & FAMILY FOCUS
If nothing else, she was destined to become an even bigger and better version of herself with God, her Helper, steering the way.
“After embracing my call to the office as a Pastor, I experienced the withdrawal of those I supported and I called family and friends,” Dr. Anderson said. “(It was a) betrayal of covenant, which causes great emotional pain.”
At times, Dr. Anderson explained, such a tear-jerking, seemingly uncontrollable sequence appeared downright discomforting and uncalled for — for the most part.
“Many reneged on their promises, and I found myself in a dessert place alone, rejected, lonely, suspicious of not knowing who I could trust,” Dr. Anderson said. “I began to doubt that God had chosen me to lead His people.”
But what she had ultimately found out was that God’s ways were far more superior to hers — and anybody else’s for that matter.
“When I allow God voice to overpower all of my doubt, torment, shame and false influence, He taught me to trust Him every step of the way,” Dr. Anderson said. “I began to see it wasn’t what others thought about me or even what I thought about myself. I realize God chose and predestined me for the mandate that He put on by life, not man.”
And the rest, as they say, was history.
Through her immeasurable gifts to the Body of Christ, Dr. Anderson founded Laura Anderson Ministries in 2007, which is widely regarded as an international evangelist ministry, of sorts.
Nearly a decade later, she was officially installed as Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Healing Deliverance Cathedral, a milestones that has greatly enabled her to execute Doctrines Of Divinity, all the while assuming the illustrious offices of Epistle Bishop and Affirm Apostle.
Having initially began witnessing God set her aside for His use in ministry a little more than two decades ago, Dr. Anderson is a part of a family of resourceful preachers including her husband, Pastor William Anderson, her brother, Mikelin Oliver, her daughter, and her daughters, Prophetess Precious Lester and Elder Takola Gonzalez, both of whom work alongside her in ministry.
A ministerial tenure that spans nearly four decades, Dr. Anderson became a Prophet in 1980. Her Pastoral tenure commenced in 2000.
“I continue to soar, knowing God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the called,” said Dr. Anderson, who interestingly survived — and “defeated” — a premature death 1986 amid a battle with depression. “I’m glad I responded to the call. Yes, I believe He called and chose me with all of my imperfects to make perfect (His will.)”
For nearly 40 years — and counting.
