Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)
EMPOWERED TO EMPOWER

DALLAS — Tammy Dozier’s entrepreneurial track record is such that she customarily demonstrates she has a heart for people from various walks of life.
Consider, for instance, Dozier’s remarkable brilliant strides she made by way of Minding My Own Grief, her Dallas/Fort Worth-based featured business endeavor that went into operations some seven years.
An esteemed grief and loss specialist, Dozier, unlike a therapist, emphasized she routinely specializes in the subject matter of grief as a facilitator in public forums, the longtime faith-leader-turned-businesswoman told Making Headline News this week as part of its advance national coverage ahead of Sarah Jakes Roberts’ Third Annual Woman Evolve Conference July 31 through August 2 from Atlanta, Georgia.
“Our focus is to promote grief as a universal human experience,” Dozier, 60, told MHN. “I offer grief support, coaching, and education to individuals and organizations, consulting with HR professionals to foster wellness in the workplace.”
SALUTING WOMEN WHO SHAPE OUR WORLD
In addition, Dozier functions as a national public speaker on the topic of grief, which enables her to empower leadership and HR teams on grief sensitivity.
That’s not all.
“I also provide on-site or virtual workshops following collective loss or crises,” Dozier said. “I promote relationship wellness in the workplace by offering wellness pop-ins. These build trust and confidence with the employees before they experience personal loss.”
Moreover, Dozier has become a fixture for educating others through public speaking that grief just isn’t about death.
“It’s loss of any kind…divorce, careers, relationships, etc.,” she said. “(It’s about) helping people live forward after loss and experiencing the other side of grief, helping them to regain their voices after loss, and coaching them through life’s changes and difficulties.”

A rising, credible business venture that services individuals and groups ranging in ages 13-and-up, Dozier’s Minding My Own Grief customarily addresses the notion that “the true meaning” of grief isn’t always known.
Instead, in some cultures, she acknowledged, grief isn’t merely spoken of or dealt with in a healthy manner.
“Also, (we emphasize) that the normalization of this topic is much needed in our society,” Dozier said. “(My personal mission is centered on) helping others see that grief and loss are universal and that each of us have a choice to become more self-aware and grow through grief.”
In a nutshell, Dozier routinely says, “Grief has no expiration date. We learn to grow around it.”
Interestingly enough, Dozier said fellow Texas businesswoman and grief professional, Dr. Tonya Cunningham, is amongst those who has helped empower her to diligently operate in the purpose for which God has created her.
Dr. Cunningham’s professional expertise spans more than three decades.
Besides operating as a grief and loss specialist, Dozier served as a bereavement Pastor four years and a certified grief educator for three years.
She has been actively involved in ministry since 2005.
To her credit, Dozier has authored two books, most notably Death of A Bag Lady, her featured written work that debuted in October 2021.

Accompanied by 90 pages, Dozier’s Death of A Bag Lady vividly takes her readers on an imaginative journey of grand highs and life altering lows, according to a detailed synopsis of this author’s book via Amazon.com.
“Every emotion will be experienced through this testimony of multiple rapes in an attic as a child, cold nights spent in a big drafty house that was filled with love and family,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Dozier’s Death of A Bag Lady. “Readers will travel through the emotional source of her self-inflicted pain from the rejection of an absent father and the discovery of knowledge that the one true father was there all along and being rescued by her husband after a time of mental and emotional healing.
“Woo wee, take several breaths! Prepare to take a trip and finally surrender to unpacking your own baggage at the foot of the cross.”
A SERVANT’S HEART

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Dozier is a retired civilian employee The City of Irving Police Department.
A graduate of Kansas City’s Lincoln Academy, Dozier subsequently enrolled at Dallas’ Foster Bible College, where she graduated with honors in 2016.
