Native Memphian Aaron Jordan flourishing mightily as an award-winning author and radio personality

All things considered, Aaron Jordan is armed with what he describes as an inner “perfectionist.”

Heck, as far as he’s concerned, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, nothing wrong with — you know — establishing a rather spirited, cheerful countenance that suggests, among other things, that Jordan is determined to strategically exercise his faith in ways unimaginable.

“I am a hard critic of myself, including my brand,” Jordan said.

The brand to which Jordan is especially alluding is his notable endeavor as an established, award-winning author.

A native of Memphis who currently resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Jordan is the mastermind behind the book, “The Power Within, A Woman’s Worth: From Both Sexes.”

A rather emotionally — and spiritually — gut-checking book that was originally published on July 22, 2014, Jordan, during an exclusive interview this week with Making Headline News, spoke at length about how God greatly fueled his desire to compose a book that, to his credit, figures to help change the lives of others for the better.

“(I wrote this book) after coming out of a dark place mentally and emotionally in 2012,” Jordan, an award-winning author, explained.

And because he deemed it essential to obey the voice of his Creator by dauntlessly writing his book, today, unlike never before, the man who’s widely known as “Mr. Know Your Worth” is steadfastly reaping the benefits of his brave act of obedience.

For starters, so inspired Jordan was to produce his book that it took him virtually no time to execute the finishing product, considering such a monumental project took approximately nine months to complete (from January to September 2012).

Add to the fact that such a compelling, dazzling book depicts several of Jordan’s greatest, most hurtful and memorable life-enhancing encounters — most notably what he specifically recalled as “three rings, three engagements” during a 24-month timeframe, and it’s no wonder “The Power Within, A Woman’s Worth: From Both Sexes” quickly surfaced as a hot sale, most notably on Amazon.com and Walmart.com.

“In ‘The Power Within, A Woman’s Worth: From Both Sexes,’ it guides to help you understand who you are, whose you are, and what you are when comes to dating and relationships,” said Jordan, explaining the primary purpose for his book. “Also, it helps you to realize the power that you have in dating…understanding that your worth and value is not defined by a relationship or just the sake of having someone in your life. The things that I learned during that period of my life and the things that I learned about myself in that process, I knew that my story was not just for me but to impact people.”

As expected, the bulk of the feedback through Jordan’s book has been favorable.

“(Many have said it’s) been life-changing in the fact that it has given them a new found prospective on dating and relationships, and that people waiting on my next book release coming up,” Jordan acknowledged.

Jordan’s next book, “Dating According to Your Purpose: 5 Laws of Achieving Your Best Life,” is a project that is currently in the works and a time of its release has yet to be determined.

Widely known as also as a motivational speaker, relationship expert, and a syndicated radio personality, Jordan is currently arranging another college relationship tour as well as another book tour for a date that has yet to be announced.

In addition, Jordan’s itinerary includes conducting his annual relationship conferences in Nashville and Atlanta entitled the “Know Your Worth Women’s Relationship Conference.” Also, his “Come Walk the Purple Carpet” event will take place in Nashville, and his “Know Your Worth Relationship Empowerment Summit” is slated to take place in Atlanta.

A Memphis Whitehaven High graduate who studied Marketing at the University of Phoenix, Jordan is owner and host of the Know Your Worth Radio Show with co-host Michael Warren. The show airs every Saturday from Noon-1 p.m. CST on Nashville’s 102.1 FM The Light.
