Gloria V. Key steadfastly planted the seed, meaning she diligently exercised her faith.

“I choose to write the book initially to inspire and motivate others to further their education, and to let others know that it’s never too late to go back to school or accomplish your dreams,” Key told Making Headline News during a weekend interview . “As time went on, I realized my message was much bigger than that.”

Indeed it was.

So much so that Key, a Spring Valley, New York-area author, deemed it essential to share of her life-altering testimonies in a rather spirited, remarkably compelling book that figures to impact generations for years to come.

A native of Detroit, Key is the mastermind behind the awe-inspiring book entitled, “A Key That Turned: Unlocking the Master Plan,” a project that was officially released in July 2019.

A book that is comprised of 113 pages in length, Key’s “A Key That Turned: Unlocking the Master Plan” is widely regarded as a must read, in large part because it recalls this author’s feel good story, of sorts.

For instance, Key did not know who she was or where she came from during which she endured a rather tumultuous season in her life, one that was hampered and saddled by a rash of family struggles, heartbreak, and economic setbacks, many of which stemmed all the way from her youth to adulthood, according to a detailed synopsis of her book at Amazon.com.

A book that is co-authored by Marc Hoberman, Key emphasized, among other things, that her book serves as a notable reminder that there is true meaning to one’s life, regardless of how discomforting life becomes.

“My divine message is to let others know that despite what you have gone through, God hasn’t forgotten you,” Key said. “(This book is a reminder) to have faith and trust God with all things.”

Since the release of “A Key That Turned: Unlocking The Master Plan,” the feedback has been overwhelmingly favorable, Key said.

“I have received overwhelmingly positive responses from my book,” said Key, who began composing her book sometime last year. “People have literally called me in tears, stating that they can relate to the challenges I’ve gone through in my life.”

DESTINY STEPS 

Some, in fact, were practically astounded by this writer’s wealth of transparency in her written work.

“People around me were shocked at the grim details of my life stating, ‘Oh my God…through all that, you’ve always been a positive person with a smile and words of encouragement for others,’” Key recalled. “I am so pleased that I’ve actually motivated others to go back to school including my own son. Others have gotten the courage to seek that promotion at work or learned coping strategies.”

Because of the ongoing positive feedback and requests for her newly-assembled book, Key has become inspired to write a sequel.

Just recently, she appeared on a podcast entitled, “The Susan Brender Show” and has spoken publicly about her book at her church and other community-related events.

“I believe that God has brought me full circle,” Key said. “I’ve had such an incredibly challenging life afflicted with so many obstacles, and just around age 50 when I thought I was done or just comfortable, God unleashed His Master Plan.”
