Houston author Brittney Carr escapes suicide time and again, she explains in her new book

DALLAS — As far as Brittney Carr is concerned, it literally goes without saying.
That is, she undoubtedly thanks God for her husband, Darius Carr, who unquestionably has been her grandest supporter ever since God has joined them together.

A 79-page project that Brittney Carr needed somewhere in the neighborhood of three months to assemble, F.E.A.R. is less than two months removed from having made its ceremonious release on the market.
During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Brittney Carr credited her beloved companion for having fueled her desire to compose a book that figures to help advance the kingdom — much sooner than later.

An emotionally-drive, tear-jerking story that recalls how this brilliant author had had been spiritually and emotionally incarcerated to the point, during which she had attempted suicide an unprecedented four times during a span of six months, Carr’s F.E.A.R. is widely deemed an inspirational, yet true story, one that serves as an instant motivator for anyone who has gone through arguably the toughest of life’s trials and tribulations.

“Alot of people are paralyzed by fear and they are unable to live life,” Carr said. “I was one of those people. I wasn’t afraid to die, but I was afraid to live. I hated this world and everything in it. And I was ready to go home (to heaven).”

To no avail, God — as only He could — didn’t allow Carr to cross paths with a premature death, in large part because, well, the purpose for which He created her wasn’t merely fulfilled.
That, as a result, meant she had to tough it out, thus press and navigate her way through the slew of unfavorable circumstances that arose in her young life to challenge her faith.
“Through the goodness of God, I made it through,” Carr said. “And I want to let people know that they may be in the darkest place of their lives right now, but if they just continue to trust God and pray and cry out to Him that they can get out. God is a Present Help and He is always listening and guiding His children.”
HAVE NO FEAR
As expected, the feedback since the release of Carr’s book has been favorable.
“I have gained very positive feedback,” said Carr, adding that a two more books are on the horizon. “People have been writing me, telling me how my testimonies have inspired them in many ways.”
Much to her delight, Carr has her husband to thank for helping steer her to her divine purpose.
“My life is a testimony that I was ashamed of, but not anymore,” Carr said. “I realized I’m not the only one with life issues, and if we just tell our testimonies and not be afraid, we can all help one another get through life until we go home.”
